Boarded my two large breed dogs here, one of which is an unfixed female under a year old. They kept them together and not in group sessions because of the female's status (which I wanted anyway). They were also receptive about my concerns about bloat and to not have any of their play sessions for at least an hour after they had eaten. I feel confident about leaving them there again.

Southboro Kennels is absolutely amazing, and I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. really a wonderful family owned small business. We had never boarded our two corgi puppies before, or left them for a more than a weekend, but we went to Hawaii for 14 days and kept our pups with them the entire time. Southboro Kennels was incredibly knowledgeable about all breeds in terms of personality and how to care best for them. They absolutely went the extra mile to make both our dogs and us feel comfortable while we were gone. I can definitely tell both dogs had an awesome time there, and our younger one even seems more social with other dogs since coming home. Will be boarding there for all our future needs!

This place not only watches your dogs, they care for them. We picked up our anxious dog after her first overnight ever and she was calm and happy, no excessive energy or fear. Both our dogs love it here.

It's been a few years since we had our dog to the kennel only because they are so good you have to reserve well in advance and we'll, we wait too late to make our vacation plans but this year we're hoping we get in. They are the best.

I'm so happy I found this place! I have a fear reactive corso who takes a while to warm up to new people (once he does he's the biggest softy). This makes finding boarding for him very difficult. Everyone at Southborough Kennels was amazing with him! They took the proper steps to slowly get him comfortable with the facility as well as all the staff he would come in contact with. They were so patient, understanding and professional! He's only spent a handful of days here so far, but I can tell he's already happy to see the staff and to get out into the yard and play ball.

It is a great spot for our dog to stay and be treated well. We have been long timed customers and we are on our next generation of dogs as guests. They always race to go in and are tail wagging when they come out. Mitchell, Amanda and Zach are dog people and hire a great team. Highly recommend them.

Our mini-poodle, Teddy LOVES it here! We have left him here for a week at a time and at pick up he greets the staff with the same eagerness as us! Great that the dogs get a private run, and we add two play times daily. Bath on his way out is a plus - today he was quite.ready for the 4th of July 😀

I had my kitten boarded here for 5 days last week and they took such good care of him! Everyone there is extremely nice and helpful. I was nervous about having to leave my kitten behind for several days, but he was in great hands and given lots of love and care. I will definitely continue taking my pets here when I am out of town.

We love Southboro Kennels, as does our pup! The team is always so caring and provides updates on Luna’s progress. They’ve hosted her for short overnight stays and longer ones too, and each time she is excited to stay. We appreciate the small size and affordable pricing.

We brought our three dogs there to stay for just over a week while we were out of town. The staff were extremely nice and interested in our dogs and cared for them. Each kennel area has its own outdoor run and you can sign up for additional outdoor play time with other dogs.

Great place!! Payment is cash or check only which is inconvenient. They also don't offer all day play like some other facilities. However, they take excellent care of the dogs and they are always very friendly. I never have to worry about my dog when I leave him!

We have been coming here for years. They have always been fantastic, trustworthy consistent. The staff have always been attentive, caring, and really love being with the animals. The runs (for the dogs) are indoor/outdoor and fairly large. Our dog Jesse seems to enjoy it, he comes at least twice a year for extended vacations. We also boarded our cat Loki here (when she was still around) We have been coming here since 2013 and will continue. I highly recommend Southboro Kennels! This is hands down the best kennel I have ever taken my dogs to. The staff are so friendly and helpful and truly cared for my dogs while they were there. They knew my dogs so well by the time they went home! I highly recommend Southboro Kennels and they will be my go-to moving forward.

Our puppy had a blast here!! She made some new dog and human friendships. All staff were so kind and doting on our pup. Her first visit was her first vacation! We received photos and videos almost daily from the staff. Of course that made us so happy to see pup playing and running in the yard with the pool, staff, and other dog friends. Also, although it’s very hot outside these days, the dogs stay comfortable in the kennel as it is like a cool basement. They also have industrial fans to keep the dogs cool. All areas were so clean too. This was most impressive. We were at ease about bringing our dog to Southborough Kennel. Thanks for taking great care of our puppy!

We love these guys, because unlike other kennels we have tried in the area, when we ask how our buddy is doing, they clearly describe OUR cat and not some generic feline we wouldn't recognize in a lineup. Even after a long stay, he comes home seeming rested and not particularly fazed by having been away. They are very careful with his meds and food....and they even let us up to the cat enclosures for drop off and pickup. Clearly they care about the animals who are their guests. But don't use them, we want a slot open for our pet when we travel.

Great place! We boarded the cat here during a trip out of town and they handled a complex medication schedule with care and competence. Professional, lovely folks. We will be using them again for sure.

Cannot say ENOUGH great things! I had to many worries because of my nervous rescue & overly excited dane, but boy did they have a great time! I researched all the kennels near me, and this one is worth the drive! Simply THE BEST, you can sense how happy the atmosphere is for pups & the workers really care about the dogs. Cant recommend enough!

My dog Sherlock really loved the stay for the weekend. He was so happy when he went in to the kennel and he was not at all nervous and wanted to explore more as soon as he got there. When i picked him up he was all playful and was all happy after a great bath. They have a very nice outdoor play area and each create has a running track so that the dogs get outdoor when they want to.They really take very good care of your pet and are very courteous and pay attention to detail about your pet requirements.

I have nothing but great things to say about Southborough Kennels. I was so nervous leaving my dog Dino there because he has separation anxiety. I sent him for an overnight to get him used to it and when I brought him back before the week long vacation he couldn’t wait to go in there. They treated him like their own and i just love how the environment is. He did such a great job and the staff is amazing too. Really put my mind at ease by sending me photos and reassuring me how well he was doing. It’s also very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Southborough kennels to board your dog. I will definitely bring him back!

Awesome place to board your pet, boarded our 2 dogs, if you can reserve a spot. Always full or close to full and there's a reason for it. They care so much for your pets and spend quality time with them. First thing you'll notice when you first pull up is people outside playing with the dogs. Prices are affordable and yes it is cash only.

Southboro Kennels is the only kennel that we will leave our dogs, and when we do we have ZERO worries. The staff are truly understand and relate to dogs. Over the years, we've had 4 dogs boarded there at one point or the other, 2 of which were rescues who, while sweet, need experienced handlers. Truly a gem of a kennel.

Great place for cats too. Spacious rooms (4x6 ft) and each cat gets some time in the bigger room with a couch to hangout and explore. Care was great for a long weekend. FYI it's cash or check only, no credit payment. Also pickup before 11am otherwise it's an extra day charge.

Our dog, Lulu, absolutely loves all the staff at Southborough Kennels and they love her too. The staff genuinely love dogs and each dog is treated as in individual, they know all of my dog's quirky ways and spoil her.The facility is very clean and homely with individual kennels and runs. It also has a great yard for outdoor playtimes.I can't recommend Southborough Kennels highly enough!

Let me add a cat review - been using Southboro Kennels for years and both my cats have been treated like queens :-) Welcoming, caring people who are responsive to both animals and humans, they take their time and are so kind. Couldn't be better - if I were a cat I would make my reservation there immediately just for a vacation!
