We ordered a chicken salad sandwich on wheat bread, chicken salad on a sub roll, a lobster roll and fish tacos. The lobster roll...at $30...was good. The chicken salad sandwich had a tiny bit of chicken salad and was served on the heel of the bread loaf ( see pic) A plastic clip for a bread bag fell out of the chicken sandwich sub ( see pic) . The fish tacos were odd...lettuce, tomatoes, olives, bell peppers, jalapenos and an orange sauce. The people were friendly, service was good, the place was cute. I wouldn't eat here for the food though.

The best place for fried seafood around! Homemade coleslaw, home sliced French fries. Been coming here for many years! And yes, the food is served on real plates that are washed and reused so no paper waste!Wheelchair accessibility: Tables are all outside except in winter

We have been going to Bob's for years on our annual week on the Cape. The ice cream is good but the seafood especially the lobster is wonderful. The service is good and the owner even makes us his special seafood scampi that's not shown on the menu. Love their Lobster Pizza!

Got lobster fritters and it was more like bread fritters... Where's the lobster? Waste of money. Got a cheesecake that was so old, I could barely cut into it. The ice cream is very small and overpriced but everything seems to be super overpriced in Cape Cod. First time here and I think it's over rated.

Quick friendly service. With being short staffed. 😊 Has the feel of a small family owned restaurant that is very competitive in a wicked busy restaurant market and area. Our order was prepared as ordered every thing was made per order.They thanked us several times for stopping. Sell both hard and soft icecream and has a large food menu as well from appetizers to pizza and pasta dishes as well as fresh seafood.

If I could give a negative Star I would. This place has garbage food and even worse service. All you can smell when you pull up to the restaurant is stale rotten fish. A huge turn off, despite me not wanting to try it, I was with my family and decided to give it a whirl. Wow is all I can say. My husband ordered a Porky 2 sandwich, which usually doesn't have mushrooms, however my husband's sandwich has sauteed mushrooms on it. He didn't realize until about 3 bites in because of all the BBQ sauce. He hates mushrooms and is allergic to them. Side note my steak bomb tasted old and the potato skins, my daughter had were 4 pieces of hard potato shell with little cheese and uncooked bacon for $10.50!! I went to ask for a refund for my husband's sandwich which he couldn't eat and now felt sick so didn't want anything else. I was approached by an employee who was basically yelling, accusing and was completely unprofessional. I asked if she was the manager and what was her name. She told me she wasn't the manager and how dare I barrade her friend. She said how could my husband not realize that there were mushrooms in his sandwich and basically it was his fault. No apology, nothing. She was completely unprofessional and in my opinion should have been fired on the spot. The assistant manager tried to defuse the situation and was nice enough to apologize. However I would NEVER be back. To all my friends and people visiting AVOID this place at all cause. You will be sick by the food and service. There are plenty of other places to eat that are wayyy better than this place. Oh and Board of Health please visit this place ... I'm not even sure if they should be open. From someone that has been in the restaurant business for over 20 years y'all should be ashamed of yourselves.

Definitely was friendly staff and a good lunch shack atmosphere. They had very limited drink options and my sandwich ( steak tip) was just a tad too wet but I could tell the ingredients were quality and it is just the start of the season for them so I'd go back again

Amazing Chowder, Lobster, and Scallops. Choose the coleslaw over the veggies. Indoor and outdoor seating. Clean bathroom. Service was excellent. The woman who took our order was so friendly and kind. Food was excellent.

Was my favorite pizza place on the outter cape, but the other day I placed an order an hour and a half in advance for 1 singular large pizza (that cost $40 btw) and when I went to pick it up they made me wait another 30 minutes saying that they had been flooded with order just recently, well, I sure placed my order a lot longer ago than "just recently" so why is mine not done??? I had ordered the pizza well done but instead the cheese was hardly melted and the dough was not even lightly cooked. Long story short I was 30 minutes late to dinner where I was supposed to bring the food but we threw the awful pizza out and had a bag cape cod chip. Great, thanks!

This place is a bit further down the road from where we normally go for food, but glad we tried it. There were only 2 or 3 people working so it took a bit for our food to come, but it was worth the wait and the people working were very friendly. Plenty of outside seating too.

Our usual favorite seafood spot was closed so we tried Bob’s after seeing some good reviews. It was excellent. We split the Fisherman’s Platter. The shrimp, clam strips, scallops, fish and fries were fried to perfection. It was some of the best clam strips we have had and the coleslaw was delicious as well. (This dish was really not for two people but delicious nonetheless) We finished it off with a soft serve cone. We will be back for sure. (July 2021)We went back (July 2023) for ice cream and the experience was just okay. The ice cream attendant was clearly inexperienced because the soft serve cones were a mess and the cherry dip was strange…maybe not mixed right?

Absolutely the best roadside food. Best onion rings (homemade, not frozen) you'll ever taste. Most restaurants could learn a lesson from their food preparation. Good for dine in or take-out.Parking: Just pull in and order.Kid-friendliness: Open-air is great for kids to walk/run around to expend some pent-up travel-in-car energy.

Food was decent, however, nothing to write home about. The biggest issue was the wait time. For a place that looks like it could be a hot spot and have a busy moment, there were only a few guests and for just a couple of subs we waited for about 20 minutes. Also, we ordered onion rings and they were out, mind you, this is 20 minutes after opening during lunch time.

I like that it's family operated and not all fussy. I stop for onion rings and clam fritters.I just had dinner again.. The food was good..I don't care that the clam strips were $22, which is on the high side for strips. Whole clams are only $4 more. But the portion was skimpy. I know clam strips are not expensive.. The plate had 15 french fries and a couple bites of coleslaw (the coleslaw was delicious).

Pros: Has the feel of a cute family owned place, it's a relatively affordable spot to get lunch in an expensive area, good ice creamCons: Food is just alright, portions are small (big sub roll and not much chicken in it; same deal with the lobster roll, not much lobster). They got 3/8 orders wrong (but were more than happy to fix them). I'd give them 3 stars but they were understaffed, which must be hard.

This place went down hill the vet tecks are great but the doctor I seen was not vern nice and I f eff let like she rushed me. I think one of the doctors opened a practice in Wellfleet I'd go to any other place the manager was supposed to call me back and that never even happened I was so disappointed

It may not look like much, but Bob's is probably the all-around best casual food-only establishment on Route 6. Their menu is impressive for any restaurant (30+ entree items, 12 pizzas, 30+ apps/salads/children's', a full range of drinks and a LARGE board of ice cream), but especially for a place this small. The prices are also very competitive throughout the whole menu and are rarely bested in any category, which is uncommon on the outer Cape, and that on its own is enough to make one come back again and again. Inside, the style is retro, which is more endearing and desirable all the time. Bob's should be fairly considered an Outer Cape Institution after its several decades, and it's more deserving than many others who might claim that status. A stop at Bob's is essential for any visitor. I wish they were open more...

Ordered one small cheese pizza for kids and one lg veggie pizza by phone but they do not have a veggie on menu so had to order ala cart. Result was $2.50 per each veggie topping. No mention of topping price or total price. Seriously no meat, mushrooms, black olives, 3 thin green pepper rings & onions were $10 extra. How can you not have a veggie pizza on the menu. Pizza crust was thin and pizza was perfect but there should have been a more reasonable priced veggie option.

We called ahead with a pretty big order to pick up on our way to the beach. The subs were so good and the staff was so nice we stopped on the way home for ice cream. Bob's made a memorable day even better.

They lost my daughter’s family’s order and then lied about it, causing her whole family, with four kids, to have to sit and wait for an hour and a half while everyone else ate. They were exhausted and ravenous after a day at Marconi and missed the first part of the movie at the drive-in with all their cousins. My daughter was made to stand by their ordering area for 40 minutes after she first inquired about their order (while everyone else in our party was eating, most of whom had ordered their food AFTER her) while several customers came and went with their food. When the food finally came after a total of an hour and a half, it was burned and parts of it were inedible! During this entire time, the staff was not only completely unhelpful but they were extremely rude and lied to my daughter and her husband, trying to cover their own failure. All this after begging for, and getting, good tips from all 17 people in our party, even though they did nothing but take our orders and call us when the food was ready. Any decent establishment worth their money would not only apologize for their mistake but at the very least offer some fries or SOMETHING to eat for the four hungry, cranky kids waiting all that time and watching everyone else eat. They offered NOTHING BUT EXCUSES AND RUDENESS! We will never go there again and if you care about your family you won’t either!

My dad (who doesn't use any type of review services or social media!) went recently called in an order at Bob's to pick up his favorite Cape pizza, which is at Bob's. In the craziness of tourist season the order was lost and they made him a fresh pizza on the spot. The owner was very apologetic and gave him the order on the house. Great service in what I imagine would be a highly competitive restaurant atmosphere on the Cape should be recognized publicly, and I am glad we can re-pay in some way!

My spouse had a meatball grinder and the meatballs were 2 small slices of meatloaf which were cold. Sent it back and it was overcooked and tough. I had clam fritters which were dark brown. Won't be back.This used to be a great place to eat.
