My pup absolutely loves it here! There are so many things to sniff and the Owner gives her a lot of love and attention. This place is warm and friendly and has an amazing curated selection of high-quality treats and selection of gear. The Owner has monthly displays catered to holidays and fun engagement activities for pups, cats, and humans. Look for the pair of green-plant dogs out front to indicate the store is open and support your pup's new favorite place to shop! My girl loves the New Zealand Mussels and the bags of hand-made biscuits with pup-friendly icing. And, the shop is conveniently located just down the street from Union Square's dog park!

This shop is SO cute. It's a little hard to find on Summer St without a sign, but it's right near the dog park. It's not like a PetSmart, but more like a little pet boutique. It's really well curated and clear the owner loves animals, like, there is a "stick library" outside for dogs to take a stick! There are the essentials like treats, food/raw food, poop bags, toys, and pet safe ice melt, but everything is cute and well thought through, like she chose the poop bag brand by which seemed most sustainable and soft while still not being so thin they might tear, "barkuterie" boxes, and stuff for us non-furry folks, like, "David Meowie" jigsaw puzzles and Simon’s Cat books and ceramics/art. It’s cool that it's owned by a woman who tries to source as many products as possible from minority/LGBTQI/women businesses. Also, she (asking first) gave my dog a lick of peanut butter, so it's now my dog's favorite shop.

Scritches and Boops is absolutely wonderful! Michelle (the owner) is knowledgeable and really cares about the quality of the products she carries. The store is full of products made my local artisans too.My pup Stella is of course completely obsessed - we always have to stop so she can smell the door on our late night walks ☺️.Stella is a heavy chewer and the horns they carry are the only ones I’ve found so far which don’t splinter and she’s completely in love with the cookies I picked up. Stella’s annual coat blow was much easier to get through with the help of the horn… 😅Definitely pay them a visit. They’re right by the dog park too ✨

To say my dog and I are regulars is an understatement. Scritches and Boops is stocked to the brim with wonderful, carefully sourced treats for cats and dogs (and humans). The owner is so great with pets, and makes sure even reactive pups can go out shopping for treats. There's always new stuff in the shop, and you can tell the owner loves animals by how she curates her selection. She tries to cater to animals with different dietary, activity, mobility and socialization needs. Plus, visiting the store is always fun for the owners too.

The best local store! My pup drags me in on our walks to see what’s new and the owner is wonderful and engaging with customers four legged and two! The treats, toys and other merchandise is all very thoughtfully chosen and the store itself is a fun beautiful space. My dog and I have found some awesome new brands and we’re so glad to have this new spot close by!

An instant new favorite pet supply store! We quickly became regulars and my dog makes us visit all the time! The store owner, Michele, is so wonderfully welcoming, making the hoomans and pooches feel at home. I love that her inventory is stocked by minority-owned brands and is always changing with fun seasonal items. If you or someone you love has a four-legged friend, you MUST check this place out!!!

This store is AMAZING! They have such fun and unique things that our pup loves, and the owner, Michelle, is seriously the best. She makes our dog feel so, so special and he cannot pass the store without trying to go in now. Near or far, it is worth the trip.

The best pet store around!! Great for all kinds of toys and pet supplies. The owner is so friendly and knowledgeable about dogs. My dog can’t walk by without stopping to see if they’re open to get some scritches. 😊
