Just stopped by tonight to pick up a few items for St Patrick's Day and was completely disappointed , 2 lb carrots none, corn beef none...I asked an employee in the isle if there was a spot they had the corn beef..The response I got was it was back there Thursday , if we had any it would be out..It clearly reminded me why I avoid Stop & Shop. I just left my basket with stuff in it and headed over to Market Basket. They at least stock their shelves accordingly

The redemption machine wouldn't take a few Coke cans even though they had the Massachusetts return marking on it. There was nothing wrong with the cans but they said I would have to go return them somewhere else since their system wasn't excepting then. It did the others and they all came from the same 12 pack from that Stop & Shop.

Never have i ever even though about writing a review for a grocery store yet here I am after 3 trips here in a row being horrible, the products are fine it is the workers they give you additude for asking for bags for your grocery and even than the bags rip are packaged incorrect or they don't even offer to help as they stand there...

Clean, fresh fruits & vegetables, large selection of teas & coffee. Butcher was happy to custom cut meats. Gluten free items were available too.

Will be finding a new store to shop. The past 3 time I've gotten meat they charged me for the weight of the container. I weigh it when I get home. And the no plastic bag policy is ridiculous. Charge me 10 cents a bag and they put 3 little items in each bag. And they still rip before i get home. Good bye stop n shop. Was nice shopping with you in the past.

A great location and a nice modernized Stop & Shop. Nice to see the old stop-and-go lights logo back instead of that ridiculous, ugly purple barf basket thing they trotted out in 2008. The logo change alone is worth the 5 stars.

All their produce is always rotten. Never fresh. Otherwise not even ripe yet. Everything is overpriced. Aisles difficult to navigate around and workers are consistently in your way and never politely move for a moment or go around you.Update: You're now lucky if they even HAVE any produce to choose from. Look at the photos. This is JANUARY 2022 and half the store is out of stock and the other half is expired!

**STORE OPENS AT 6AM**I sat in the parking lot for five minutes, believing the store opened at 7 (Google and the store website said 7). Turns out it's 6 and per the very kind associate I chatted with, has been for years. Very kind staff, hopefully the store website can be updated.

It’s a mega grocery store. Fruits and Veggies ok, has some organic products. Decent deli. Seafood ok, price is decent.Always stocked pretty full. has delivery available. Nice flower shop and pharmacy

Update 3.19.24I haven't been here in a long time. Stopped in while bringing a friend here and devided to grab a few veggies. For some reason all the veggies are wrapped in plastic, which leaches chemicals into the food as it sits there in the coolers. I don't know why they are doing this, but will definitely not be coming back here.Somerset, MA. They have a good selection of store brand organic foods that are good. Most of it reasonably priced. Fresh produce, clean store and lot. The only complaint I have is the cashiers don't know veggies. They will scan a cucumber as a squash or a vine tomato as a plum tomato which are much different in price. Do self check out if you want items bagged properly. Baggers don't seem to care how they bag frozen foods with dry and heavy foods on top of breads and eggs. The last bagget was throwing the fruits and veggies in the bag like she was mad at the world. I tried to say something, but she just looked at me like she couldn't hear me and continued to bruise the fruits and veggies. Lastly, this store is a little more pricey than Fall River, MA. I will no longer go to the Rodman st. Store as it's not as clean and there are fights and robberies I have witnessed there. The one on Mariano Bishop Blvd is really good as well. I am adding this into my review. I have experienced this creepy robot thing following everyone around taking our pictures without our consent. I have started going to Shaws because I feel this is intrusive.

One of the nicest & cleanest Stopn Shop arnd? Produce is always fresh & just recently put new refrigerated glass doors for there vegetables, looks nice along with great meat dept, florist area, etc. Definitely my go to place for food shopping, prices are reasonable too.

Went there on a Tuesday afternoon and they have 1 register open! 1? So they are basically forcing you to do self checkout and on top of that half of those are closed as well. Also now you gotta pay for paper bags and they don't supply plastic bags anymore. So you either gotta buy paper bags or bring your own from home. That's ridiculous! 0 STARS

I went to store on Sunday, 7/23/23, to return 5 bags of returnable cans to obtain monies for food. I'm 66, handicapped, rode into store asking for the 3 can returnable machines be serviced all full. At 3:55 PM first request, no response, 2nd none, woman went twice no response. I made fourth trip into store with over 3 dollars in wagon. 15 minutes later no response again. Front manager was a middle aged woman. Luckily a biy gathering carts brought my four unopened bags to car. Worst part going home without a meal.

It's Stop & Shop folks! The Greater-Boston based grocery chain is a produce and grocery Superstore. As there has been a recent growing surge in competition over the last decade, Stop & Shop has been able to keep it's head above water and fairly level with the competition from mega giants such as Wal-Mart stores in Swansea and Fall River, as well as the newly built Market Basket just over the bridge, 15 minutes into Fall River.Prices are market but a little higher, but this is a mega Super market for groceries and it's both right of the highway, and the major shopping center in town. Make sure to bring a sweatshirt because it's always cold I the store. That is why the produce is fresh and the ice cream status frozen.Chances are that if you live in Somerset you most likely go to Stop & Shop for food shopping. If you're staying in the hotel down the street, chances are, that you will most likely stop on by Stop & Shop to stock up on food, whether you're sticking around, or just passing through town.Whatever food you desire: canned goods, cereal, fresh fish, clams, or even live lobster. Stop & Shop probably has it. This grocery store has been a staple in town for many many years and I don't think it's going anywhere anytime soon. The staff is friendly and they really know where everything is. Just ask any of them where something is and they'll tell you what aisle it's in.I highly recommend this store if you need to buy food for a day or even a week, but like I said before, bring your checkbook and wear a sweatshirt. And don't forget to grab a shopping cart carriage on your way in! Handicap accessible. Service desk. Lottery sales. Home delivery available in select areas. Ask at the service desk.

I used to go to Stop and Shop a lot. Now mostly Shaws. I loved their meats. I stopped in and got some crab stuffed shrimp. They were great 👍

This is the 3rd time I have bought meat that was bad. Both pork and beef. I got the beef ribs yesterday and refrigerated them right away. Opened them up this morning and they stunk. Too bad S&S, you have lost my business and everyone I know.

I shop here 3 times a week. Every time I need fish from the meat and seafood department, I usually ask for the sockeye salmon, and I ask if the employee can please cut the skin out of the salmon. The women rolled her eyes, and this is not the first time, older woman with short hair and with a rude witty attitude. I also had the same attitude when making this request with other employees, next time I'll cut the skin off myself at home, not worth dealing with rudeness, it's a simple request... just do your job. I am not being a Karen but it's always an unpleasant experience and unnecessary... I worked in retail and grocery stores for years and never disrespected a customer.

This is my go to store. It's very convenient after hitting the gym. It's a clean and well stocked store. The employees are friendly and helpful. The flower selection is always fresh and superb 🌼

This S&S is always stocked & clean. This store has a pharmacy and Citizens Bank inside. It's never really crazy busy, they do always have plenty of cashier's available, especially when it's the Holidays and the parking lot has a ton of available spaces, including Handicap & pick up

I have used their online services on and off and never had a problem however this last time somebody wasn't really paying attention to their job I was sent and noticing that my grapes were unavailable also when we got home and took the packages out of the bag all the deli was missing. We had to call to have them correct the problem and go back to the store and pick it up again, and it was still wrong we were still missing a deli meat. Didn't bother to go get the last deli meat gave that to them as a freebie. But I did go into the store to go and get my grapes which were available.
