Since feeding Sweet Meadow Farm Timothy Hay to my pet, she has become increasingly active and seems very excited and eager at every feeding and I have noticed a smoother and silkier fur coating as well and would highly recommend using this product to anyone who loves their pets.

LOVE the garden center! Their plants are always in better shape than Home Depot's and they have a more diverse selection. The staff are always very helpful, offering assistance without having to be hunted down. Their prices are very reasonable. I'd much rather give my business to a local, family owned business over HD any day!

I loved this farm so much I've been riding here for 6+ years and have had pretty good service..... Until now. They increased the rates for my trainer who I love by the way but I'm not paying for $20 extra for someone who is a pretty average trainer. Then a few weeks before and continually after that we have been getting our lessons canceled! I ride every other week but yet I can't get 1 lesson! I have gone from never wanting to leave this farm to looking for new ones! Please read and change this sweet meadow or I'll go and find a farm that wants me to ride!

This is be best place to get natural, local, healthy rabbit food at an amazing price. My bunny is very happy and loves their brand. Her stoles are not runny anymore and her urine smells less!!

My son and I visited this farm today. The store hours posted on the door indicated that we were there during store hours however the door was locked. I knocked and an employee opened the door with a frown - never said hello. I went to purchase some candy for my son and was told there is a ten dollar minimum to charge. I also told the employee that unfortunately one of the horses had bitten me outside. She said with no apology and a complete absence of warmth or interest - that these are animals and they can bite and there are signs warning people of that. I asked if she is the owner and she said no. Upon leaving I went back to the fenced in area where the horses are kept and then I did see a small sign quite covered with dirt warning of the possibility of a horse bite. The signs should be larger and cleared of dirt by staff more often and the employees (certainly the one in the store today) need re-training in customer service and interpersonal skills. Awful experience. I left there with my son crying and a feeling that the staff are not kind.

I normally buy grain through Tractor Supply (on my route to the barn), but today I decided to try Sweet Meadow only to be greatly disappointed by attitude of one of the superior staff members. The member of staff who helped load my car, nonetheless, was incredibly friendly. The woman who met me when entering the feed room, prompted me to order quickly, only allowing me time to order one bag of grain, and then led me towards checkout. She spoke to me in a condescending manner as well as rudely ignored my "thank you." There were over two hours left before closing, so I cannot comprehend the treatment.

Really? I just sat down to order more hay from this wonderful farm and noticed a comment about it being 'garbage'.... I totally disagree - this is the softest hay I have EVER found and all of my animals (rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchilla, tortoise) won't eat any other of the yucky coarse brands..... With all other brands, I get hay "splinters" in my hands when I touch it - but never have gotten splinters from Sweet Meadow's hay! I won't use any other hay every again. In fact, I usually drive 1 1/2 hours to their farm to pick up my hay....its that good! I wish I could rate it higher than 5 stars......

Plant selection is on the smaller side, but they have mostly herbs and some veg. Local honey from their own hives, small farm stand with a few veggies. Decent amount of parking. Only issue here is $10 minimum which is kind of ridiculous and as of late has kept me from stopping there. Who carries cash anymore? They should probably adjust their prices accordingly instead, it would make more sense. This is the reason I give it three stars instead of five, because it really is that much of an inconvenience and a turnoff.

Needing a reliable source of timothy hay for my two female Guinea Pigs, I checked out Sweet Meadows. Their Timothy Hay is soft and much fresher than store bought. My two girls are very happy with it.

Bought my rabbit hat from Country Max and in the bag of hay, there was a burdock plant and giant sticks of wood in the bag of hay. put some more thought and love into your products especially if you are making them for small animals.

Very bad customer service. My friends and I planned a visit and we were received by a rude, awful woman. She said: can you read this? And " Book a birthday party. Nothing is free." We were shocked by her lack of professionalism. Not going back to this Bitter Rude Farm again!

In 2008, I posted a review to Amazon about a bad experience purchasing hay from this place. Al has continually insisted his hay is perfect and no one has any complaints! If you get bad hay, just look on Amazon. There are repeated reviews about hay with MOLD, BUGS, DUST and MOTHS!! I'm including my original review below:This is the WORST place to get hay! Yes, worse than Petco.I bought hay from them online. $16.99 for the hay, and nearly $30 for shipping. Sounds like an okay price for 25 lbs, right? Well, if you like dusty, moldy hay, step right on up! My rabbit won't touch the garbage I purchased from this company!!! I have bought from other companies (including Oxbow and American Pet Diner, as well as the local "big boys" (PetsMart and Petco)). Never have I seen hay this thin, dirty and disgusting. Even Kaytee is better than this junk! The man (Al) is very unprofessional. He boasts on his site that "If you are not completely satisfied with your order, we will gladly issue a replacement or refund." Yet that refund did not include the most expensive portion, the shipping! What a ripoff! I have 25 lbs of worthless "hay" to junk, and I have to pay $30 for the privilege of that?DO NOT BUY! If I can save one person from this horrible product, I am glad!!!

Best place to buy hay for Guinea Pigs. The also have chickens, goats and horses your kids can feed and you can do lessons or birthday parties with the animals.

Been taking my kids here for years to feed the chickens and horses, but unfortunately nowadays unless you attend a summer camp or a birthday party you can't see most of the farm.
