This was our first visit for dinner, and it was a great experience. It really checked all the boxes I can think of; the building is new, provides a warm and comfortable atmosphere, has wonderful views, a very friendly and attentive staff, the food is fantastic, and the prices very fair for the quality and quantity you get. We had the seafood casserole at $30, and I can not adequately describe just how delicious it was. It was filled with lobster, shrimp, scallops, and fish, with a buttery crumb topping, and the size of the dish was huge. We couldn't finish it and took the rest home for the next day... so I really consider it a $15 meal X 2 meals. We also saw dinners going to other tables, like fried whole bellied clams, fish and chips, burgers, and more, and they all looked equally fantastic. We will definitely be back to try them as well. Don't hesitate, GO, and try it for yourself. We've had delicious meals the few times we've gone here. The whole belly clam dinner was delicious. The wings were also. We were lucky to get a table this past Saturday because we were not aware they had begun taking reservations. We were there to dance and listen to the band that was playing that night starting at 7 pm. We got there at 5:30 and the restaurant was packed already. The host was able to find us a table with a very minimal wait. He was very nice as was our waitress.The upstairs banquet hall is really nice. Lots of dance floor and the bands sound great. Bar upstairs also.This place has a stunning view and beautiful patio to eat outside when the weather gets warmer.It's definitely worth a visit to a beautiful area.

Not good. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I didn’t expect it to be that bad. First, not clear where to enter. Once in, there is no one there to greet or seat you. Waitstaff just pointed to a table and said that one looks free. Atmosphere is weird. Too bright and looks like a cross between a cheap seafood restaurant and a truck stop.Steak was way undercooked for medium and no flavor. Left half of it on my plate. Food this bad should not cost this much. They’re charging “dining” prices for food prepared by an average cook.Service wasn’t much better.It’s almost as if the people running the place have no idea what a good restaurant experience should be. We spent the whole time talking about what we would do differently if we owned the place. That’s never a good sign. So it has potential it just needs someone else making better decisions.

Wow. What a disappointment. I took my girlfriend here for Valentine's dinner and left most of the dinner on the plates. Barely edible. We selected surf and turf. The Steak was bleeding rare, we were never asked how we would like it cooked. The surf part of the meal was a large shrimp, overcooked and stuffed with something. It also included the inedible sand vein. The Vegetables and potatoes not edible. Completely overcooked. The bacon wrapped scallops were undercooked and not edible. We only ordered one meal as the special Valentine's menu consisted of limited items, priced at $60.00 per person! We had a manager come to our table when we were about to leave and she asked us how the meal was. We were honest and given 15% off our bill. She only would hear one detail of our complaint and then continued on about how we would experience fine dining and food upstairs at the closed Sweetheart.We will never return to the Sweetheart Pub or recommend to anyone who asks. This meal was a costly mistake for both myself and the Sweetheart's reputation.

Come for the decent bar food, stay for the view!! Nothing here you can’t get at any old bar and pub, typical wings, fried pickles, burgers, and the food is fine, but pretty forgettable. However, the atmosphere is like nothing else! Amazing view of Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts. Breathtaking outdoor seating both under and atop a massive deck. If you want a quick bite and a beer in the area, go anywhere you like, but for a scenic experience with lunch included, this is the one. Especially in Autumn! 🍂

I'm torn. This place has a great beer list, cool location and great service. But like other reviews have said, the food gets to the table stone cold!! How??? So many people have complained about this! How are they still bringing out a tepid meatball sub? I ended up taking it to go and will heat it up in my air fryer. The actual meatballs were really good. It's just baffling that they would serve cold food to the only two people in the restaurant.

They are brand new business trying to do the best they can! The staff is busting there butts to make sure everyone there gets the best service they can give. There may be a wait due to staff shortage but anywhere you go now a days has that. Food is great! Different specials weekly, everyone is so welcoming and the view is incredible! They made updates to make it look beautiful! Prices are really reasonable as well.

It’s a real shame this place isn’t good. They have a beautifully remodeled building, and a great location. Wasn’t really sure where to enter though, and when we did go in we were not greeted by any staff. Another customer told us we could seat ourselves. Our server, Matt, was the only good part of our visit. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Unfortunately, both desert items we ordered were not available. The alternatives we did get (cheesecake and pistachio pie) were disappointing to say the least. The drinks we got were extremely stiff and had something floating in one of them. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Slow Friday afternoon and stopped here for a late lunch. Pricey, slow and food not cooked as ordered. Bar was busy.Wonderful covered patio area with views on the back side.If you're stopping for drinks you might have a better experience. Ours was VERY disappointing! FYI: They charge a CC Service Fee.

This is the second time I have been here. First was after they first open and didn't have a good experience. A year later I figured I would give it another try. It was a Friday night and they were busy, which is great for them. When you get there you don't know if you seat yourself or sit and everyone ignored us. We went inside and after 5 min someone told us if we could find a seat we would seat ourselves. We found one table available without a reserved sign and it was dirty. When someone came to us about 10 min later with menus we asked that the table be cleaned. Received an attitude and when they came back they slapped the rag on the table and did a quick wipe. The table is still not clean and papers are left on the table from previous people. We can get over that. We decided to leave feeling like it was not going to be a good experience again. Felt like we were being a burden and the atmosphere inside is not pleasant.

Nice view from the outdoor dining area. Finding the entrance from the parking area was a bit of a challenge. Staff was pleasant. I would have liked to see the rest of the building that has been renovated but that didn't seem like it was possible. Food was ok. I had the whole belly clams which were nicely done. Partner had the ribs and they were ok. Corn on the cob was not good.

Stopped in for a late lunch with friends. We started with the fried pickles and we shared the generous portion. The pickles were the best I have ever had.It was a cold, comfort food kind of a day so I had the beef stew, one of my friends had chili and the other had a Reuben. We were all very pleased with our selections. Very generous portions and all made in house and very good. We have been there before and will be going back.It is pub food but better than most. Very reasonably priced.

😱!!! Loved this place! Food was amazing! Calamari was fresh not frozen, beef stew was made with prime rib, salad was sooo fresh!Loved the pub atmosphere and restaurant. Fortunately met the owners Joe and Laura they were the cream of the crop!!! Went out of their way to make our visit personal and memorable. We ended up staying there in their rental rooms. Rooms were amazing!!! Literally the best place I’ve stayed in years!!! I cannot express to people enough do not miss out on this extraordinary place!!! Loved it, loved them!!!!!!! Thank you

It's a shame this wasn't a good experience because I was so excited to finally go here after seeing it vacant for many years. We made reservations for 6 people. Got there and was sat at a table made for 4, which we were willing to sit at and didnt make a fuss about, but then the host said "wait wehave a better table" which was an outdoor glass and metal table that they walked into the building. They put that table smack in the middle of the dining room which was really loud and crowded and thought somehow this would be an improvement. Before we were seated at the table the wait staff decided to use it to hold their trays of salads and we stood there waiting to sit in front of the table awkwardly. Noone brought silverware or water or even asked what we wanted for 10 minutes. We got up and left without ordering. Really disappointed. Won't go back.

Food was good and the patio was really nice. They told us to sit ourselves but took 15-20 minutes to greet us. Then messed up on our orders and forgot the fries on the burger which then took almost another 20 minutes to get, never wiped down the table and forgot to bring the ketchup that we asked for for the fries and the cup we were given was broken. Wished it was better but what can you do about it but write an honest review

Must say disappointed. Heard mixed reviews about food so tried it today. Server was very nice, but felt young and inexperienced. Jambalaya special had NO rice. Was just meat in greasy seasoning with salad for $22. 😳 asked for side of rice said it was pre-made and they didn't have any...whatttt? Burger, super greasy...dripping grease. Expected a little better quality. Love location and atmosphere, but feels like poor management for service and quality.

Was a little nervous based on previous reviews. I am sure they were working out the kinks. My dinner was great. I had the prime rib, reasonably priced, it was cooked perfectly. Favorable and tender. Sides were great baked potato and salad (what can I say, I am a meat and potato guy). Service was wonderful attentive and responsive. This is a nice addition to the Shelburne Falls food scene. Solid, good food, friendly service and if they have the apple strudel on the menu, save some room for that!

We love the Shelburne Falls area and decided to try the pub out for a date night; unfortunately our experience wasn't stellar. The menu was pretty limited, basically diner food - which can be great, but not for the prices they charge.Also service was incredibly slow. We waited nearly an hour for our food, and like many other folks who have left reviews both my husband's burger and my appetizer were lukewarm. Though there is a nice view off the patio, the indoor ambience was pretty jarring, with really bright overhead lights, large TVs in every corner of the room, and lots of concrete floors/hard surfaces so the overall noise level was extremely loud.On the positive side, the staff were very nice and friendly, and the food was decent. This seems like a good place to bring kids or take in a football game - definitely not ideal for a quiet dinner. We probably won't go back.Vegetarian options: There were very few vegetarian options.

Recently went to the Shelburne Falls Pub and Brew to have dinner. This was our first time since they have opened. It will probably be at least a couple months before we go back. While the food was not terrible it was not great. I ordered a beef quesadilla. It was not hot. There was beef in it, but not a lot. My husband had a salad with chicken added. When he was done he was not full. There is another local restaurant that sells a salad for the same price where he is full when he is done eating it. One waitress was training another one so they were slow. However, the staff was still very friendly even though they were stressed a little bit. We understand it is hard to find employees now. Hopefully by the time we decide to try this place again things will have improved.

Stopped in at 5:30 PM on a Friday night. We had burgers, beer, and fish and chips. It was a bit chilly so we ate inside.We had eaten there before and were disappointed but gave them another try. I’m really glad that we did because the food was spot on and the beer was icy cold. Our waiter, Matt, was great. He was new and is an excellent addition to their staff.Good visit and will be going again.

We ate dinner here a few days ago, because we locals have been waiting for the place to open after a very long period of construction. Sadly, it was not worth the wait. Howard Johnson’s or Friendly’s with a smaller menu and higher prices is about how I would put it. The very short, boring menu is the same for lunch and dinner: burgers steak, chicken. Clearly designed for and by folks who have no clue about food. I wasn’t expecting anything close to gourmet, but this is just sad. The only pro is outdoor seating during good weather, with a very nice view.

Finally, a space in the Falls with plenty of space that has been completely remodeled by the owner and it is visually stunning. Can't beat the view of the Deerfield river valley from the two outdoor decks. Plenty of parking and handicapped accessible. Small menu selections could be expanded. Good drink selection and reasonable prices for both.
