This is the most expensive co-op I've ever been to. It's More expensive than similar shops in NYC. They seem to be actively price gouging on prepared foods. Medium soup? 8 bucks. A very small container of rice pudding? 7 dollars! Prices are easily higher than Whole Foods. Even luxury items like grass fed milk, a solid 2 dollars higher price point than the exact same product at River Valley Co-op. What happened to giving needy rural communities access to healthy food? Wasn't that the point? Where did the community mission go? Abusive price scheming, targeting a low income rural community with few options. Terrible.

Great, local, natural foods store. Excellent bulk grain options. And superior beer selection, which is unexpected. Some unusual finds in prepared foods. Very friendly staff. Cool vibe.

Best grocery store for healthy food. If you don't buy organic you are supporting the use of pesticides which turn soil into dirt and boy is that stupid. Check out Kiss the Ground and The Need to Grow.

Happy health food store. Fun people. Great foods. Even have minstrels playing music. I have experience a violin player and a number of guitar players there. Outdoor seating overlooking a river.

McCusker's Market is a true gem in the Shelburne Falls Village! Awesome selection of all the local and natural goods you need. The greatest part is much of the fresh produce there in season comes directly from local farms. A true local resource. I was totally bummed when they discontinued freshly-made sandwiches though. That was my favorite part of the experience. I hope that the owners may see this and consider reopening the fresh sandwich department in the future. 😃 Keep up the good work either way! Love this market and everything about Franklin County, Massachusetts.!

Nice little crunchy organic-y type food coop market. Good coffee options. great bulk section, good beer and wine selection. Bluegrass music jam spot on the weekends creates a very pleasant atmosphere. Not a great place to go if you are in a rush.

Nice co-op with a good selection if goods. The bulk section is awesome with a large selection of dry goods as well as bulk local honey and oils. Beer and wine selection is small but good. There is a room where you can sit and enjoy coffee or a snack.

I just moved to Shelburne Falls and am so grateful that McCusker's is here. They have a wonderful selection of bulk herbs and pantry items and all of the employees that I have met so far are incredibly kind and helpful.

Small local food co-op with wonderful hangout space. All natural, you can find wide range of products, some bulk (food, herbs, cleaning products) as well packaged. Some prepared foods (always good soups!) Cold drinks - and a nice beer and wine selection.

Wonderful local market, very attentive to the needs of our current situation- everything is sanitized, there are separate entrance and exit doors so people don't have to encounter each other. It's the customers who need to be more aware, and stay further away from each other. Since it's a small store, it's hard not to crowd people. Just be aware and come and buy their great local produce and more.

It had rotted Avocado on the under the shelf and the employee didnt say thank you for me climbing on the floor and bringing it up to him. But, our check out was pleasant. They were ok for a small wholefoods store. But, they didnt have dark chocolate for my pms craving that didnt have traces of nuts in it or without cane sugar added! I couldnt find anything to healthly cheat on my anti candida diet. I had to settle for normal stuff like blueberries. Oh but they did sell coconut bliss Chocolate single ice cream bars. Unfortunately it had chocolate processed with alkali.

Neighborhood gem. Treats everyone like family. Decided a very reasonable membership is the way to go, but the crunchy granola vibe is priceless. Even as the boutique veggies are breathtakingly pricey. Not quite fifty shades of tofu but even the Dorito-alikes are GMO free. Bakery goodies fresh and hand crafted. And syrup from local maple trees has to be a nearly lost treasure.

In another location, I would have given only three stars. But McCusker's is the only place like it for miles. Small produce section, higher prices (like sister store Green Fields). Excellent bulk section and friendly, funny, helpful staff.

A good old fashioned health food store with some items not found in supermarkets. We have relied on this store for over twenty years. Small store but good selection.

Why not offer hot cereal in am like Greenfield does? Also, please hang bananas, make available plant based only food options, and ask customers at checkout whether they are a member owner.

We moved to Shelburne Falls in 1992. McCuskers market gave us welcome packages, including a wonderful paring knife made by a local producer. We moved from there in 1996, and live in Maine and we STILL enjoy using the knife, and remember McCuskers when we do.

Poor selection of gluten-free grab-and-go food and they still use single-use plastic for containers when they could easily use biodegradable ones.

Used to be my favorite stop in the area. Remodel makes it feel sterile, more like a convenient store than a funky coop.
