Full to the brim or just a few other dinners and the staff is still friendly and accomodating. Reasonable priced comfort food with just the rights size portions. Just remember this is a cash only place, but with 3 banks, one just nextdoor, you won't have a hard time finding an ATM.I cannot count how many meals I've had here since moving to the area. Every meal has been consistently delicious. My go to for breakfast is an egg sandwich and fried home fries. For lunch I like to mix it up, the burgers are fantastic and the turkey bacon melt I had today was amazing.Update: just back for another visit of I'm not sure how many since my last review. Filled to the brim again but the service was spot on with the food coming out as quickly as the griddle would allow.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bread options now on the menuParking: There is plenty of parking in the area but right out front street parking is not typically available.Kid-friendliness: Typically quick service and kid favorites of pancakes, french toast, and chicken fingers

TLDR fantastic diner great sandwiches.Travelers, this downtown Shelburne Falls MA is a jewel on Main Street. It has a wonderful lunch menu loaded with all sorts of goodies. They offer every type of wrap, sandwich, and burger you can imagine. There is even a vegetarian burger option. The grilled sandwiches are wonderful. I added sauerkraut to the turkey bacon cheddar grilled sandwich and it was delicious. The fried chicken wrap was delicious too. The chicken was crispy and tender. The spinach, feta, and tomato sandwich on rye was more delicious than expected. The spinach was cooked perfectly. The spicy curly fries were just the right amount of spicy. Much of the food is local and homemade — like the pies which are made fresh every day by the owner including the pie crusts! Everyone in my group loved it. The service was friendly and with a smile. We recommend. Take the ride to shelburne falls and check it out.

Amazing small town diner with the hardest working ladies I think I've ever seen. Atmosphere was great, food was amazing, service fantastic. That veggie omelet with toast and potatoes was less than $8. Unbelievable. Great cookies too! A wonderful place to eat! Oh and great coffee too!

We stayed Shelburne Falls for a couple of days while on our honeymoon. We visited Foxtown Diner on our first morning here and were welcome by the smell of coffee and pancakes! A really lovely local diner with extremely friendly staff and a nice chilled atmosphere, we felt right at home! It was so nice we came back the next day for another lovely breakfast! Also very well priced for the high level of service and food!

This is a great little diner. Prices are fair and the food is delicious. I had the veggie wrap and it had just the right amount of each veg... Tomato, spinach, jalapeño, mushrooms and onions. Nothing overwhelmed... You could taste them all. Hubby had the meat lovers omelette and it was loaded. The ham was a real standout. Really good. Note that they are cash only.

Fantastic Food and entertainment (if Tom is there) if you can deal with sarcasm or love sarcastic people make sure the owner is there before you go, I went on a Sunday and he went back and forth with me and my girlfriend cracking jokes and being all around sarcastic, it died down a little and he sat down near us and even got to know us a bit while we enjoyed our food, the food may have taken a bit long to be cooked but the conversation with him made it worth the wait and I'd go back again in a heart beat even if he wasn't there because we both loved the food so much. 4.5 stars for me! Highly recommend, motorcycle friendly as well, parking up front and plenty elsewhere with maybe a 5 minute walk tops if you can't find any out front.

Just hubby and me for 2 breakfasts. Short getaway. We were greeted cheerfully and were surprised to see the young cooks and wait staff. Good food and portions. Hats off to tiny Anna. She respectfully stood up for a coworker who was being bullied by a sour, loud and self engrandised woman. Being in our 70s, Anna and the her coworker made us proud. Just one easily addressed issue, waitstaff refilling coffee, should go up or down all tables, not just their own.😊

Breakfast this morning was delicious, and everyone in my group was contentedly full! The service was fast, and the staff was friendly. Watching the staff interacting with regular customers made us feel like we wanted to become regulars, too. Comfort food served in a comfortable atmosphere. We were too full to even think about dessert this time, but we will certainly be ordering pie next time!

Lovely little diner in the beautiful, scenic town of Shelburne Falls! Very warm, cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great food @ terrific prices. Just a short walk away from many tourist attractions, such as the Bridge Of Flowers & Glacial Potholes. Highly recommend. Perfect for a nice lunch, snack or dinner. Not sure if they're open for breakfast, but I bet if they are, that's excellent as well. Easy to find location. Not too crowded usually.

This place is garbage. I walk in and am faced with a cloud of smoke from the "kitchen" that fills the entire dining area. I guess high-tech tools like cooking fans are just too much for the Foxtown Diner.I sit at the counter and ask whether the waitress recommends pancakes or french toast - she informs me that they've stopped serving breakfast, but they still offer omelets. Mind you, it was about 1pm. Am I crazy or are diners known the world over for offering breakfast pretty much all times of day? I go ahead and order a western.I wait over 20 minutes without my meal being served or any kind of update from the waitress. When I finally ask, she goes over to confer with the line cook. They convene a meeting as if it's a group of NFL referees deciding on a controversial penalty. She comes back to inform me it would be another 15 minutes. At least. Ridiculous.Stay away, unless you enjoy your clothes smelling of smoky diner kitchen, waiting for food that never comes, and surly service.

A real local joint. I eat there for lunch 2-3 times a week. I usually just take whatever the special is: Mac & Cheese, Chicken Pot Pie, Clam Roll. It's just basic comfort food and a good price. Always a good selection of pies for desert. I want to stress that there is nothing fancy about this place, but staff is friendly and food is good.I also can't think of a better place for breakfast. The homefries are perfect, and they cook eggs anyway you like them. To try something new for breakfast ask for a hash omelet.Not a good place for vegetarians, pre se. There is no salad on the menu, though they do offer veggie burgers.Cash only.Under new ownership as of October 20201 and the food is even better then before!

Lovely small town diner with all the right food, people, and decor. Plenty of on-street parking, fast service, and both a regular diner menu and specials. The sausage gravy over biscuits with 2 eggs over easy was excellent. They avoided the pasty gravy that is so common, the sausage was delicious and plentiful, and the biscuits light and fluffy.

Had a cheeseburger; husband had turkey wrap – both were delicious! Service was fantastic! Homey kind of diner with great food. Also had Apple Crisp with ice cream – absolutely wonderful! Reasonable prices. Worth the trip!
