This place was wicked cool. It has a lot of really cool things for sale. There were very friendly dogs around the store which was nice to see. The parking situation is very convenient and easily accessible. The staff here were very friendly and professional. Everything was organized in an unique but comprehensible manner. I am looking forward to going back again soon!

Absolutely blew my mind. I was not expecting the amount of random collectable antiques I would encounter, so much fun stuff!! I asked the person working about an early color printed copy of alice in wonderland and through the looking Glass I've been looking for for a while and she took my number (me assuming "yeah whatever, worth a 1/50 chance"). That was days ago and I just got a call an hour ago, it was found in good condition and available at a great price at the store! I also got a free keychain which is awesome amd adorable.

Beautiful shop. Great items. Always fun to browse and buy. And of course Mike is the absolute best. Don't pass by this place without stopping! Antiques, curiosities, old stuff, quirky stuff and one of a kind stuff. Love this place.

Good place on the side of the road. Good gift shop type place, with a few Native American touches. I do not believe this Trading Post is owned or operated by Native Americans which is a bit unfortunate. Great BBQ next door.

This place is awesome and amazing. They have so many great antiques.. I wanted to keep buying...The owner is sweet and amazing, she went the extra mile and contacted the vendor to see if they would be able to reduce the price..Not many stores and sellers would do that. Will definitely be going back...

Well, I guess everything changes. No longer a Native American store but rather an Indian as in India or Pakistan type store. Just doesn't fit in with The Mohawk Trail experience anymore. The oldtime owners will be sorely missed, I have gone there yearly for over 50 years, but no more, another experience gone forever I could cry.

Always a great selection of nice Native American themed merchandise!!!! Moccasins, craft supplies like beads and animal skins, great selection of books pottery, Indian toys, big selection of sterling silver and turqoise Southwestern and Native American jewelry, and some costume Southwestern themed jewelry as well. You can find stones and arrowheads too. There's candy, artifacts, and other related type items as well. Located right on the historic Mohawk Trail, and open year round. I stop in whenever Iam in town.

Reminiscent of when I was a child and dad bought me one of the drums like the one in the photograph. I like the selection of moccasins, dream catchers, model horses, etc. Staff is very friendly. Would recommend to anyone going in that direction.

My family and I visited the Mohawk Trading Post a few years ago and we had a blast. Our son at the time was very interested in the Indian Information and the indian type products you could buy there. Of course he wanted far more stuff than we could afford, but we were able to find several things that he was able to play with and read about. There were plenty of arrowheads from the indians of the area I think and there were lots of other cool trinkets! I even got a book on the various Indian Tribes that were located all over Massachusetts and it blew my mind. The entire State had been filled with many different Tribes. And I grew up in Massachusetts, but I was not taught this in my history classes (unless I just forgot, but I can't imagine knowing something as big as this and then forgetting it). I am proud to be cousins with the owner of the Mohawk Trading Post, but I need to clarify that none of what I am saying is some advertising scheme. Everything is true and no doubt as good as it is because of the hard work of the family that owns the Post. Having grown up in Greenfield myself I have known about the Mohawk Trading Post much longer than I knew that the people who owned it were relatives of my family. Though I am officially an adult, I still get very excited at the thought of finding a real Indian arrowhead!Jeff York And FamilyChicago, IL

My granddad, AJ Cote, built this in the 40s. Sold to my uncle n aunt, Ervin n Grace Wakefield, around 1950. Owned and run until retirement. AJ lived up on the hill across the hwy. The family would spend wknds there. If a tour bus(s) would stop, my uncle would get the family to help in the shop. In the 50s n 60s, he had caged animals for an attraction. A return visit to Shelburne is on my bucket list.

Not as good as I was hoping for. Items mainly mass production instead of hand crafted.
