Today was my first time visiting this location, albeit very close to closing time so I did not have a chance to wander and check out their wares (my fault).I own several 20V black & decker lithium ion 1.5A batteries that I regularly use with my household power tools for home improvement work. I wanted to find a job site radio that would be compatible with these batteries, but unfortunately black and decker does not offer a budget friendly jobsite portable radio with bluetooth capabilities. Today I learned that Porter Cable made a radio (Model PCC771B) that IS ALMOST compatible with the black and decker batteries that I own, but requires a little bit of modification in order to accept the battery. After a quick Google search, I saw that this location had one in stock. I quickly called the location, and was warmly greeted by the friendly team member that picked up the phone. He confirmed that the radio was indeed in stock, but that they would be closing at 6PM. I immediately got into my vehicle and drove over, arriving promptly at 5:59 PM. I purchased the radio without issue, even though by the time the team member was finished ringing me up it was a little past 6PM. I really appreciate the entire team for staying open after hours to accommodate me and making sure that I had the radio that I was looking for. My only regret is not catching the team member's name while I was at the store.I had an excellent first experience at this location, had a fantastic drive up and down the Mowhawk trail, and will definitely be back in the future to browse the store some more. I so love this place. The manager, Ray, is exceedingly kind, and most of the staff have gotten to know my dog Bellus, who is always invited inside and given the royal treatment. Just today I was getting some rock salt (without my dog), and the young gentleman who checked me out said "don't you have a dog?" When I said, "why yes!", he suggested that I buy a different brand that is safer for animals. Then he showed me where it was and offered to take it out to my car for me.I've just moved to the area, so I'm not really a local, and he knows of me from the couple times that I've come in.. I find this service to be outstanding!

We got a flat tire just outside Aubuchon Hardware in the middle of a snowstorm. Ray was amazingly gracious and kind, insisting that we come inside with our dog and keeping the store open for us until our tow truck arrived. He even made us popcorn and helped us find a place to get our tires repaired! Thanks so much, Ray!!
