I go to this store out of convenience. It’s in Scituate harbor so if you live in town, this is the closest grocery store to go to. The establishment is always clean and the employees are always helpful and super friendly! I will admit, the items here are always a bit more expensive than any other grocery store. I’m assuming it’s due to the convenience of the location. Although a bit more expensive, I still do my minimal shopping here.

Its small and pricey but in a pinch it works. Its definitely older and dingy inside. They sell beer and wine though so thats always a plus

Such a nice independent supermarket located in a beautiful town. The staff was extremely helpful so that I could get everything that I needed. The only other place around there that had groceries was CVS and this supermarket had a larger selection and lower prices. Can recommend this very highly.

Good small supermarket you can find what you want when you are on the run. But they need to teach their cashers some respect to the customer and they need to pay attention to their job. The cashier kept checking her text and texting while she is waiting on me. My time has no value for her and she did not bag my grocery after I asked her to bag them answering her text was the only priority for her.

Absolutely bloody love it here, the variety was amazing and the staff was even lovelier! Got some delicious mac and cheese for lunch, truly is my go to place for lunch and the prices are fair and worthy for what your getting! During covid, it's extremely clean and fab and at the tills, there was a lovely worker named Alli there who was super patient when my card declined, had to ring the bank and everything and she was just super lush about it, gave me alternatives and had a cheeky convo with me the whole time as I was so confused and embarrassed.Love visiting here, felt like writing a review about it too!

I have been very happy with my experiences at the Village Market! Could find every thing I needed!Also I called to report a dropped hearing aid due to taking off my mask just outside the store and the employee checked for me and no one had picked it up & left it at the office! I appreciated her help!

The only grocery store in Scituate, and I love it. The store has everything: meat, potatoes, bread, pepperoni, carrots, and a lot of other stuff. Though it’s kinda smaller than other grocery stores near me in Cohasset, I’m proud that it’s right in my town at the harbor :)

Love this store! Close to home and very well stocked with everything you need. If you can't find something...ask. It is probably there. Full service food and beverages.

It's very convenient in a pinch and I'm glad they're in town. It's a great place for non-perishable grocery items and dairy. Meat and vegetables are...um...not the freshest, and get one star removed for what they're lacking in..

In town location is great, some good gourmet finds, and staff is always helpful. I'm looking for a better shopping experience for my large grocery runs and would shop here more if the store rennovated the tired and worn interior.

Super convenient location, interesting specialty items, beer, wine, high end cocktail ingredients, fresh produce and, oh yeah, staple grocery items. We use Village Market place for all those reasons.

We once found a potatoe that was 8 years old. It was pruney. Eating salad from the salad bar is high stakes russian ruelette. Sometimes the coin machine works and sometimes the bottle machine works. Its great. When it works. Every employee is in a terrible mood because their job sucks and they get zero benifits and know they will likely be spending a good chunk of their hard earned cash on break junk food. Also since most employees are barely legally old enough to work, expect inexperience. (from someone who worked there at 16 years of age) If your young old men or broccoli will creep on you. In store. Most likely with wife lurking behind an isle. But yeah it's right next door so 10/10 would shop again

I'd be lost w/out the village. It has what I need & want & if it doesn't let the mgr know so next they will. I also like the store size, u know where everything is & for a town mkt their prices are very comparitable to the bigger stores.

I am there often love the convenience and variety of unusual items litteraly hanging around. Flashlight clothesline aluminum pans good food and drink.

If you know how to shop some stuff can be relatively cheap. Their produce is competitive at times and the seafood, fresh as ever. Just stay away from grocery unless there is something on sale. You don't need grocery anyways if you are trying to eat healthy. Just produce, meat, deli & bakery. Dairy is high but just go to cvs across the street.Plus it is scituate, if you want to buy something cheap, go somewhere else haha

We saw some nice Veggies and Meat but were very dissapointed not to find the Leg of lamb that was advertised on sale ... There was no one from the meat department in the store ... The man from the Deli tried to help us to no avail ... I guess we will try to come back another Day before Easter ... Not convenient for me to do ...
