These groomer workers are terrible don’t waiste your money here. They have you book online appointments for your pets just to cancel it due to them leaving early from work. So what is the point on having certain availability and hours on their website to only cancel it is crazy to me. I’ll never be purchasing from PetSmart again.

The worst Pet smart there is. Never bring your dogs here , they are rude unprofessional & LAZY . Manager is rude and told me if I did not like the service to look else where, definitely not a dog friendly spot. Also they say the dogs are matted just because they don’t want to wash or cut the dogs hair.

I went to Petsmart on route one in Saugus around 8 PM one hour before they closed, to buy a dozen feeder fish and they told me that they cannot sell fish at the moment because they were too busy, specifically that the manager was too busy to help me. As far as customer service this is unacceptable Petsmart used to be my go to for my fish my two dogs and our three cats but I will never be returning. I will be reaching out to corporate, there was no lines at the register maybe two other customers inside of the store i do not understand why nobody could be of assistance.

NEVER bring your dogs here. the woman tried to tell us she was “matted” when she was not at all as we keep her perfectly brushed. she is chopped her face is butchered and all over is completely uneven. how are you a groomer and blindly shave a dog? this is not how a doodle or poodle should get cut. super angry

Had my beagle groomed today. I've brought her here since she was a puppy. This is the first time we had Victoria as her groomer. Victoria was warm and friendly. She so obviously loves dogs and loves her job. I'll be booking with Victoria for future appointments.

Had an appointment with Jennifer today, she did a good job for our pup’s first grooming experience. We showed a picture of what we like and it was perfect! He came home very neat, clean and smelling fresh.

Do not let them touch your dogs, you will regret ever giving them a try. They totally ruined both my poodles for the holidays. Worst hair cut ever! Hair sticking out all over the place like the razor missed spots and while I was there I watched my dog fall off the grooming table, they acted like it was no big deal. I am so disgusted with this place never again.

Great place. I got everything I needed for a new pup. Also, if you sign up via website or app you can get points (treat) which are redeemable for discount on items you purchase. Even better, I got food for my pup that made her sick and they allowed me to return it. I was very happy to have not lost the money I spent

The staff here are amazing for my dog in overnight and doggy day care. He's always excited to see them and rushes to leave me behind in his rush. They run their program well and train new staff very well too.

Horrible experience I would never take my puppy back here he’s been groomed for over a year and never had a complaint. After 30 minutes of dropping my dog off they told me they were canceling the service because my dog was trying to bite the groomer. Let me remind you my dog has never bitten anyone he is a friendly shih tzu who has 3 children in his home. I called to ask what happened to him that he’s upset the manger of the store told me I don’t know dogs don’t talk human. Just come and get your dog we are ending services. For a place that’s slogan says they will do anything for animals they sure didn’t for mine. Was very disrespectful and not helpful and comforting at all. My dog is another child of mine and I love him dearly. My dog was abused why there and was very upset and didn’t want anyone to touch him which any human or animal would be. I recommend you not bring your dog to this unorganized, unprofessional place.

Horrible experience with Hotel. Sent my poor dog back to us covered in dried feces and vomit. They claim my dog(who has been going there for 8 years with no incidents)bit an employee. But they will not show us any proof other than a notice from Animal Control dated four days after the bite allegedly happened. Can’t get a call back from corporate. They just have Saugus call us. I think corporate should look into this location with the numerous bad reviews I’ve seen and also based on our experience.

People here are very very nice. Always helpful, very knowledgeable and always attentive. The associates at the pets hotel are top notch. They are very friendly, and they love and care for the dogs like their own. I bring my beautiful baby pug there all the time. Never a bad experience. Wouldn't bring him anywhere else.

I have come here a bunch of times for dog grooming - just a wash and dry for a large short haired pup and they always do a great job. Sometimes the smell of the shampoo and a little too strong. But they usually have him ready for pickup in 90 minutes and you can arrange appointments using the mobile app which is great.

My puppy Loretta K stayed with y’all seven days and I can tell she really enjoyed herself upon picking her up. I would like to thank y’all so much for taking care of my puppy. Whomever groomed her the first time I absolutely loved it but not so much her second cut but that’s okay I’m willing to give y’all another chance. The staff is kind and professional as well as helpful; again thank y’all so much.

This hotel is horrible. My dog came back looking like I don't know what. Almost like he was only allowed to lay on rough concrete. He has slept for 2 days like he was beaten and what happened to his hind legs. They are lucky I don't come back because if I do it would get ugly. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

I am a consistent customer at this specific petsmart for 10 years, so its very unfortunate that i was treated this way. I had an appointment for today and got a phone call prior from someone named tyler trying to cancel my appointment and have me come in thursday ( for an appointment that i cancelled prior because i have one now for today ), i said no i need it for today thats why i cancelled thursdays. With a nasty attitude then said to me well you cant be late or we aren’t taking you and hungup. Fine whatever, but then prior to this i had spoke with a girl on the phone about my dogs rabies shot, it expired feb 28th but the closest app available is in 2 weeks, she said that was fine and to bring the paperwork showing, which i did. I show up on time with my paperwork and im told we cant take her. I think that was another excuse to not take my dog considering they were trying to cancel earlier. Keep in mind i live in NEW HAMPSHIRE and still chose to be a consistent customer to this specific location because i loved the staff. But it looks like there are a bunch of new staff members with nasty attitude and clearly miscommunication. The two amazing workers at this location are sal and laura, unfortunate that they are always booked back to back , but i can clearly see why they are. i think the company needs to do some more work on and choose very wisley who they decide to hire with taking care of customers pets. i unfortunately dont think i will be coming back here considering my dog is in desperate need of a haircut and we came all this way just to be turned away when we made sure on the phone everything would be fine.

The staff at Pet Smart on Saugus are so helpful and pleasant. The grooming staff do a great job. My Aussie always looks great! The ability to order online and have curbside pickup is so convenient. Recommend without hesitation.

Super disrespectful, brang my cat here to get vaccinated with shot vet and they where super kind, but the store manager makayla or whatever on Sunday was so rude and gave shot vet a hard time trying to vaccinate my cat, they kept telling shop vet to relocate their stand and they just couldn’t leave shot vet alone to vaccinate my cat. One of the employees kept harassing us and trying to get us to leave. When we where walking out of the store, some employees where talking bad about us and how we should control our cat and was giving us attitude. Never come here because these people are careless and disrespectful.

Horrible service and the Mgr in the store were so rude. Please put a complaint in last week and still did get any response from corporate office. Never again I only went there cause pet smart didn't have the pee pad holder for the pads. So bad and rude. I saw 3 pink bowls on top of a sign said 2.00 each I was OK I will get one . I go to the register and wanted to purchasre the bowl it csme up 111.99 or 12.00 i told the woman and she sent me down with a manager name mackala she told me it was in the wrong spot so i said there are 3 more .i said are you going to honor it she said no and walked away!! I am at the register told thd woman i want the corporation office number she would not give it to me. I asked if there was another manager and she called this guy Anthony who when i got my order he said i know which one is yours i just did it 10mins ago. I said wow i order it yesterday at 2:26pm and you just did it this morning. Plus I had already order in on 5/28 said it would take 2 hours I would get an email didn't happen. Then I called back the next day they said it's ready still didn't get an email. Still waiting for their corp. Office they are so rude and don't have your order ready when they say it will be!!!!!!

Update 6 months later: I’ve called PetSmart corporate about a dozen times over the last six months to get an update on my complaint. The customer service on the phone are always incredibly helpful and nice, but the people in charge of returning my phone call are just refusing to do their job. My complaint has been escalated all the way to the district manager, who is also apparently incapable of returning a phone call. I haven’t stepped foot in a petsmart since and I don’t miss it. PS: there’s a petco across the highway from this petsmart. Highly recommend it, esp Emily in the grooming salon.Terrible grooming salon - despite paying extra for nail grinding they often return my dog with rough, jagged, peeling nails. Same when we’ve paid for deshedding baths - she’ll come home “deshedded” except they didn’t brush out all the extra fur and it’s just loose and makes a mess.Despite this, we thought the staff were nice enough (if incompetent) and have been coming here for 2+ years, since my dog was a puppy. Today the store manager rudely said we were never allowed to return because my “dog was jumping” …which is ridiculous. If they had just refused to see her today because she was excitable I would have been annoyed but understood. Instead they declared we can never come back and couldn’t give a good reason except that it was the manager’s decision. Even Petsmart corporate said they didn’t think it was right and submitted my complaint. I don’t plan to return no matter the outcome of the complaint, and I’d urge anyone to avoid this store (particularly while Anthony remains the store manager).
