Rude pharmacist who didn’t care that my daughter was having a very bad reaction and needed her medicine ASAP. Was told there were other prescriptions that needed to be filled first and that we’d have to wait a half hour then she promptly hung up on me. Clerk was rude as well when we showed up. Like we were pains for making them have to do their jobs. No empathy at all. No sense of customer service or care. Disgraceful!

I'm glad they were open late on Christmas 🎄 Eve. My friend, she forgot to bring something and we needed it. CVS had it in stock, but, at a high price. I bought another item that was buy one get one free through their rewards program. Self checkout available, easy to use. Refrigerated section available as well.

Extremely limited items in this location. I would only return if necessary to get a prescription but mind you the pharmacy closes earlier than the store itself .I think they both should close at the same time.Odly shaped store inside. Uncomfortable to shop.

Some of these people are so unnecessarily RUDE. For them to do there jobs is such an inconvenience. I had to wait for my perscription which should not take long to put pills in a bottle. She tells me it's gonna be a few hours. I said I'm on my lunch break. I jeed to wait. I work 45 minutes away and therte closed when i leave for work in the morning and when i get out at night. She said well atleast an hour. Didn't say one word when she came over to begin with. Just grabs the perscription. Has done nothing but through things around since I have been sitting here. Went to the Newburyport location dame exact thing. The woman threw the perscription back at me. Unacceptable when you work in customer service. I just don't understand why people have to be so incredibly rude.

Not enough pharmacy staffPerhaps why the unfriendly and rushed services as the employees are working harder than they should have toAlso many times can't get help over the phone for a couple hours and when I do I've been placed on hold and forgotten or waited extremely long periodsI changed over my scripts from one doctor to another pharmacy already after an awfulspring summmer and fall of 2023I get prescriptions still from one doctor and it's never a pleasant experienceI have had a better experience at a CVS elsewhere in past

This CVS pharmacy is the worst pharmacy I have ever had to deal with! They are very rude, never have ur prescriptions available and say they are working on them and tell u to come back! They told me to call around to if different cvs’s had my medication available? I’m not a pharmacist? Really? I did that had had to do the foot work to get my prescription refilled! Today I went to get my prescription and they told me once again we are working on it can u come back? Ok! So I did! I came back! Sitting in the line at the drive thru for 15 mins then it was my turn! They CLOSED the window! It’s 8:00 sorry! Really!!!! How rude! I went in the store!! They closed the counter? I couldn’t believe it! So ok! I’ll just be in pain untill the morning because this pharmacy is so incompetent and does t care about it’s customers health and we’ll being! Also there was a Mom in back of me with a child who had just come from the ER that was sick and needed a prescription filled, they did not care and shut the counter even tho I asked if they could just give us our prescriptions! They did not care, the manager of the store was rude as well! Worst customerservice ever and no concern for patients /customers well-being!

If you are using the pharmacy at this location and you are prescribed a controlled substance and are taking it as prescribed yet look like you are taking it as prescribed, they will call your doctor and say they aren't comfortable giving you the medication because they think you are currently under intoxication. They will have you shut off.I have caught the pharmacy technicians lying to me about when they get prescriptions or if they make a mistake then they find some excuse to blame doctors or their computers. (I understand computers malfunction from time to time)They keep making mistakes because they are "short staffed".If you are there for the store then you won't have any problems.

When you read the reviews saying this pharmacy is horrendous, it's no stretch. I have not had my prescription filled in under 5 hours in the last 6 months. Not sure what happened because it used to be regularly ready for pickup before I was home from my from my doctor's office. I understand things have changed, places are having a harder time finding help, but NO WAY things have changed this much! Have my order usually is ready in a couple hours, then it takes a minimum of 3 hours to fill my other prescription? What? It takes 3 hours to count to 28? No this place is just a joke, it's time to change pharmacies! Stay away if you can!

Never had an issue getting my prescription here till last night. They gave me the off brand prescription and didn’t find out till this morning. Since I left CVS they now can’t take it back. Make sure you open all your prescriptions in front of your pharmacist to make sure it’s the correct one, I was going to switch but rather open the bag in front of them each time now

According to the CVS website, this was the only store in the area that offered the Moderna vaccine booster. So instead of going to the always fantastic Portsmouth store, we came here for our appointment. If it wasn't for the nice woman giving the shots, this review would have been one star. The people in the pharmacy are rude and need things explained to them several times. I asked the woman who checked us in a question because there was incomplete info on the confirmation email we received. I had to ask her 3 different ways before she actually answered in a huff. Never going back to this store.

CVS has the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. They send u text reporting ur prescription is ready, or they put on the text filled, when its not even completed. Than they question u as if ur not reading their text correctly.

Even though this CVS is within walking distance, I drive 5 miles to the Walgreen’s in Newburyport. 50% of the time CVS didn’t have the medication I needed in stock - - even though it was auto-refill! Their “truck” delivering medicines was unreliable, and I frequently had to drive to another CVS that had the medication in stock.Thankfully Ed has retired. As others have said this was a person who didn’t like his job, and his presence was like a dark cloud you just didn’t want to be around.Like many people, I have been going to pharmacies for decades, in multiple states. Without question, the CVS pharmacy in Salisbury is the worst pharmacy I have ever experienced.

As others have stated, poor refill follow-through at the pharmacy, messed up orders, and extremely rude staff. One time when they had made a mistake on an auto-refill (and were somehow blaming me!), I asked for an apology from the woman pharmacist. She started actually screaming at me! I have never been so frustrated in my life as I have been trying to deal with this pharmacy. It is right down the street from me, but I use the CVS on Storey Ave in Newburyport exclusively now. They are responsive, efficient and professional, rather than worrying more about their latest multi-colored hairdo than the customer.

Awful customer service. One girl in particular this one girl is so rude n should be fired.she’s been there a while n we were just there Wednesday nite at 630. N we came to window n was nasty, rudely says “no smoking at the drive thru” which I understand but Mayb say it politely cuz I obvi did not no that.She never says hello or how r you or thanks you or your welcome. If I could give that nasty broad zero stars I would. She’s like this every time. It got so bad I switched along with 3of my coworkers to Stop n shop who r WONDERFUL!!!N it’s not just cvs in Salisbury it’s ALL OF THEM THEIR PHARMACYS SUCK!!!! I will keep telling everyone to switch n I have ran into numerous random ppl I’ve told now at stop n stop. N they agreed that girl is awful n so is that younger ish guy. No wonder no pharmacist stays their!!!THIS IS A MINUS ZERO STAR RATING!!!

I received a script for lidocaine 2% jelly after having massive road rash ( scooter accident) down my entire leg. They told me I would have to pick it up the next day in the afternoon. the next day I called the automated to see if was ready and it said yes. I went to pick it up and the teller told me it wouldn't be ready until tomorrow! I told her, you said that yesterday! I already waited an extra day in pain. No apology. They final gave me part of the script which would get me through one wound cleaning. This pharmacy has gone downhill since covid. They are apathetic and I will be changing my pharmacy.

This is the way a pharmacy should be ran!! They are fast, put the patient/customer first, and even appear to like their job. Very different from the CVS that I switched from. Kudos to the CVS team in Salisbury, keep up the great work!!!! You are appreciated!

Earliest booking for booster was 2 weeks out. Received a cancellation email 1 hour before my appointment. Call the pharmacy, "We're unstaffed and had to cancel appointments. Prescriptions come first." Nice lady on the phone, useless store. Forced to book two weeks out, given one hour notice of cancellation. That's pure garbage.

last month I ran out of farisimide and it took two weeks before I saw it again. now I need humalog insalin pen and im told it will be ready later, I go later and still nothing but its the wrong thing. I am a diabetic and in kidney failure and u need these meds and if u can't get them, I'll get my meds somewhere else. do you jobs please!

The retail employees are nice but the pharmacy employees are so rude. Three times this month I’ve used the second drive thru lane because there was a sign up saying “full service both lanes”. All three times I was yelled at telling me to get in the other lane because there was only one person doing drive thru. Why not take the sign down or put out a cone so people will know? How hard is that? And maybe train your employees to be nice? I’ll be switching pharmacies.

Totally screwed up my prescription. Blamed everyone but herself. Then when I finally got my prescription there was only 3 out of 28 pills in the bottle which she never told me. When I went back to get the remaining, she told me the insurance company wouldn’t cover it. So I drove to Cape Cod, my primary Physician Dr. it was filled immediately. Tip of the iceberg!

The absolute worst CVS pharmacy I have ever been to, went on a Thursday night to drop off my script around 7 PM, not one customer in the store or at the pharmacy, there was two pharmacists and a CAC working with purple hair and it was 20 minutes before one of the pharmacists told the tech to help me , she came over to meet with an attitude as if I was interrupting her, dropped off my script and told them would be back in the morning, went back around 11 AM the next day, went to the drive-through and one person was pulling up, I got behind the driver and we both sat there for 15 minutes, the woman hit the call button to walk to five times and no one ever came. I decided to go inside to the pharmacy, The same woman was asked to drive through hitting the call button. I had two customers in front of me and then after I was helped, the girl at the cashier said has anyone helped the person at the drive-through yet, they called the girl that was stocking in the pharmacy and lo and behold it was the same girl with the purple hair from the night before to help the person at the drive-through , It is always like i it is always like this there. Terrible

I love going here. The employees are so polite. The Spanish gentleman, I don't know his name but I believe he is a manager. He is always willing to help. I sat there one time stressing because I didn't think they had what u wanted. He could see on my face I was disappointed and said we have more over here and there was what I needed. The waitress was fast and professional.The food was hot. I never buy my coffee there because it is weak and tastes like dishwater.I buy my own and bring it with me. Thats how bad it is.Also they did not serve my order with enough sauces.

THIS IS THE WORST CVS EVER. ALWAYS SAY THEY ARE OUT OF MY PRESCRIPTION AND TAKES OVER A WEEK FOR THEM TO ORDER IT ALL WHILE REFUSING TO GET ANY OTHER CVS TO FILL IT FOR ME. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS...Yet again, this cvs is incompetent and can't get my prescription right no matter what I try to do... leaving me every month without my meds I need to function each day instead giving me a bag full of excuses as to why they can't preform their job correctly smh. Do yourself a favor. Go anywhere else but here !YET AGAIN THIS MONTH, I CALL AND THEY TELL ME SORRY WE HAVE TO ORDER YOUR MEDS THAT ARE ALREADY A WEEK LATE AND AS I START TO ASK WHEN THEY JUST SLAM THE PHONE IN MY FACE. Refused to help me make good on a $50 gift card they improperly activated. They basically ripped off a 12 year old kid of his Christmas present. I shop there several times a week...no more. Horrible customer service. Should be zero stars.
