My 6 year old dog "Zip" needed a tooth pulled and a cleaning. This requires a general anesthetic and an all day stay. I was NERVOUS! The result was excellent. The doctor and all the staff were kind, informative and true experts in the care of my little companion. We in Salisbury are so lucky to have the best veterinary care so near.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Dr. TK and his staff are amazing. They're kind, very knowledgeable, and treat your fur baby like their own.We decided to go to Dr. TK when we received an estimate for over $2,000 for dental work for our cat, Felix, from a different vet. We compared his estimate to the estimate from the other vet. Both estimates were identical line by line, except for the price. The final bill from Dr. TK was a much less than what we would have paid at the other vet.Felix, was diagnosed with diabetes by another vet. He was prescribed an insulin that cost almost $300 that didn't help him at all. Dr. TK recommended a different, and less expensive, insulin. Within 2 months of starting the new insulin, his diabetes was under control.Dr. TK trusts you as the parent of your fur baby. He listens to you knowing you know your pet best and proceeds to recommend the best options.As long as we have fur babies, we will continue to take them to Dr. TK!

Our beloved 2 elderly babies were 19.5 and 15! They had to be put down within 2 months! They even came to our house to euthanize our Nunzio! Lucy was put down at the office. They're true heartfelt sorrow was felt with us and they're complete confidence they imply that we were doing the right thing! They are the best! Love them all!😻😻

The staff at Animal Health Center has been great with my puppy Buddy that was attacked by another dog a couple of weeks ago and suffered an EAR INJURYThe Dr took him immediately..he had to have surgery...his wife ( office manager) was extremely helpful with keeping me updated with his progress and payment arrangements.... thankfully we did have pet insurance that she had suggested from our first visit a few months ago ..Caring , friendly office ..their vet techs are caring and friendly as well ...I've had animals all my life and this office. .staff, Dr ...are fantastic...My pup actually likes walking in that door to say hello to the staff ...it's as if he knows they helped him ..Gratitude beyond words...Thank you kindly for the wonderful service ...

We recently got two puppies and the team at Animal Hospital of Salisbury has been amazing! One pup has had quite a few issues and they have been quick to help and so caring. They let us come in on a holiday and helped to be sure we found much needed pet insurance. We’re very glad we found them when we moved to Salisbury!

Doctor TK, is the most kind caring man... in all the craziness we have been going through my Reno our German Shepherd who is 13&1/2 was having labored breathing late last night. 4/7/2020 Nothing worse than not being able to see your regular vet. Dr. TK opened his office for us. We carried Reno into his office on his bed from home because he couldn’t stand up. He saved Reno last night. Reno couldn’t stand up alone before we saw Dr. TK. Not one word uttered about payment first. Just meet me at the office. This is why we refer this one of a kind veterinarian to our clients. (I have owned Dawg City Pet Supply for 29 years)At Salisbury Animal Health Center the Dog comes first. We thank you, Reno thanks you. I’m able to go to work today and help others in my profession without heartache today because of your kindness. Dr. TK called me first thing this morning to check in, after he had at most 4 hours of sleep. Love this man. For those of you reading send a prayer for a full recovery for my senior boy. To add to the credit of saving Reno, is his brother Copper who woke us up frantically to come help. A "TAIL" of 2 brothers who absolutely adore each other. Update fast forward to today 4/16/2020 Reno is doing very well. He has had 2 Adequan injections which have helped his mobility. I will continue these injections at home ( I have given injections prior, so I am comfortable doing these) Dr. TK gave Reno his latest check up yesterday. He listened to his lungs, and heart. My first experience with this veterinary center was AMAZING.All of the staff: front desk, manager, vet tech, the doctor; again, AMAZING!I usually see a different vet in a different area but they were full up. Now, I love the vet I'm used to, I didn't think I would ever be able to find someone matching in care and quality on such short notice. I was wrong.AHC were able to see my cat the same day for what I was worried about might be a serious issue. During the appointment, everything was explained to me very clearly and concisely. I'm on the lower end of the spectrum for income and the price wasn't far out of affordability for me either. The amount of follow-up on her aftercare was impressive as well, down to the point of being given detailed instructions and advice outside of the appointment for a good amount of time over the phone.Thank you so much for your time and effort! If you are considering taking your furred friends here, I recommend it wholeheartedly. You won't regret it.

I wish I could give a negative review. I brought my cat in last week to get checked out because he wasn’t acting right. The DR told me they checked his lungs, did blood tests and everything was good. Fast forward to today, I brought my cat to another vet and he had severe CHF. there’s no way if his lungs were checked that this would have been missed. For the entire week following his visit here he was SUFFERING and struggling to breathe. He is now gone due to the massive amount of fluid around his heart and lungs. Please if you love your pets in anyway go somewhere else.

Wonderful vet experience every time. The doctor and staff are knowledgeable, caring, and don’t perform any unnecessary procedures. They will always see you and squeeze you in if there is an urgent situation. Very reasonable prices as well. So grateful to have found them.

If I could give these guys 10 stars I would but Google only gives 5 so they definitely get all 5 from me .Visiting the area from Colorado my dog broke a nail pretty bad on a hike and was in alot of pain. I called 10 different vets in the area and nobody would take him because I wasn't a "regular customer" . I just happened to be driving buy this place and stopped in and told the girls at the desk what happened and they said bring him in we can take care of him for you. And take care of him they did. My pup wasn't an easy patient, they had to put him under , remove the nail and clipped his remaining ones.I can't say enough about T.K and the girls and staff here , so grateful to all of them and Simon my pup is now pain free and resting comfortably in his bed in our vanThank you thank you Animal Health Center of Salisbury 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️

I just changed vets had my two kitties spayed and neutered here and had the most wonderful experience! They even gave a gift bag of fun goodies for my fur babies once they are healed and feeling better! The staff was absolutely amazing and so informative and caring. Their prices are also highly competitive compared to the various quotes I received from other vets in the area. I have definitely found a life long vet for both of my kitties. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place with fantastic staff and care!

There is no other place I would trust enough to care for my dog. She had a lot of illnesses as a puppy and everyone here took amazing care of her. It's hard to find a place that provides consistent good quality care, but Dr. TK and his staff always do. Everyone truly goes above and beyond to provide the best care possible and I am incredibly grateful for all their hard work throughout the years!

I rescued a new kitty over the weekend and wanted to have her checked out and get a physical as soon as possible. And gave them a call. Within minutes I was setup with an appointment for the very next day! Super friendly staff and customer service on the phone. When I showed up they took care of all the paperwork so I was a safe distance from the receptionist. Very easy process for new patients. The Dr. Took great care of my kitten and explained a few things I should look out for and showed a genuine interest in my pets future health. If you are looking for a place to take your new pets, give this place a try!

I have been to many vets and this is by far my favorite. They only take one pet at a time so it’s very personalized and you never feel rushed. Prices are great too! Last year my dog had what we assumed was a parasite and was very sick and the vet was great at taking care of her! He didn’t take advantage of the fact that I would’ve paid thousands and thousands of dollars in testing and instead he was able to come up with a simple solution for me and my dog Cannoli that only costed $400.

If you are looking for a vet that will provide high-quality care and treatment for your pet look no further. This office will go above and beyond to ensure the health and safety for your pet because they truly care. In late October I adopted a kitten from a shelter for my family, they were able to book a first check up visit for our kitten Buddy right away. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful with getting all of Buddy's information for his visit. The vet was friendly and had a very warm and gentle nature with our little kitten. He took his time to make sure Buddy was comfortable and got through the exam in a timely manner. But this is all topped by how they helped me and my kitten in a time of need. Our kitten had a respiratory illness and became sick very quickly, sneezing/congestion in his nose. Our poor kitten clearly needed help, but our family was exposed to COVID-19 and we all became sick ourselves. This put us in an unfortunate situation where we needed to quarantine but also needed to get help for our Buddy. So I called the office and explained our situation, they were so understanding and helpful, they allowed us to have a consultation over the phone and came to a solution. They allowed me to pay over the phone for Buddy's needed medications and they placed them on their steps to allow me to pick them up with no contact. The bag even had a get well soon note! Our Buddy is now doing well and back to his playful silly self! This kindness and understanding is not found just anywhere. These people really care about their clients! I can't thank them enough.

We have been taking our puppy here since the day we brought him home. The staff are absolutely fantastic and care so much about the animals that come in. Our little guy is always so excited when we pull in the parking lot and is so happy once he's inside that he doesn't even notice the shots. Very thankful we found a vet that we trust and takes such care for their patients :)

I only give reviews when service is outstanding or poor. At Animal Health Center, the service is outstanding and deserves to be acknowledged. Everyone there helped me to care for and give comfort to my ailing cat, Sam. As Sam’s health took a turn for the worst, I knew he needed to be put out of his discomfort. I called Animal Health late morning and was told that there were no available appts and the doctor was leaving at 3:00. Because of their love and compassion, I was able to bring him in that afternoon. Thank you Dr.

He always knows what is wrong with my pets and knows exactly how to handle both my current and past dogs health.I have followed him to his new location... he is stuck with me!!!He is brilliant!!!!Him and his staff have been helping my 10yr old dog since she was born and takes excellent care of her!

Went here because of all the positive reviews. Our experience was fair. The vet and staff were friendly, and the Dr was professional and was able to help with our situation. Thank you. But, we did not appreciate the attempt at being "upsold" for $85 worth of probiotics. There was also some conflicting discussions about whether our dog needed antibiotics (during the procedure the Dr. said all was fine, 10 minutes later, just before we left, stated there was an infection and we needed antibiotics). Still not sure our dog needed them to be honest, but when a Dr states the animal needs them, who am I to argue. Another $50 for a generic antibiotic. No harm done, and the vet was certainly more then competent, but unsure the medicine and related costs were all warranted. We did decline the probiotics. Will look elsewhere for our next visit.

Love everyone!!They took care of my friends dog who wasn't a patient at the time. She had a UTI, they treated her and then followed up with phone calls every day to make sure she was okNeedless to say she will be now going to animal health center from now on!!They truly care about all their patients!!!
