Good little marketplace. I’ve visited this market several times now for the deli. I am a tradesman and most people know it’s hard to find a spot in Rutland to grab some lunch. They offer grab and go pasta salads and grinders as well as made to order grinders. Don’t forget to grab some ice cream from Joeys in the summer!

It's just a nice special little store. Kind of like a Cumberland farms in a way but better it has a real deli counter and they make sandwiches and salads. And all the people are really really friendly

Best staple and deli in town. The marinated meats are delicious, Employees are so friendly and helpful. The ice cream is so delicious.

Really horrifying place. When I was in there, someone was trying to buy alcohol and gave her ID to the guy behind the counter. He started scrutinizing the ID, asking her to give each piece of information, and then started saying uncomfortable stuff about the picture not looking like her. After the customer answered all the questions, the psycho behind the counter made a bigoted comment about how she “hadn’t updated her ID since she transitioned.” The customer had already paid and just had to say “I’m a woman” and leave. I can’t even imagine how someone working with the public could confidently say something so prejudiced and aggressive towards a customer. I’m never going back here and recommend other people avoid it as well.

We have only lived in Rutland for 2 years and when we first tried their sandwiches we were very pleased… not so much anymore. We have been to them at least 6 or 7 times and vow never to return. On numerous occasions I have had brown lettuce in my sandwich. They tend to stuff the sandwich but when you take a bite it falls out because they overstuffed it. All that aside, my biggest complaint is they they always leave something out of the sandwich when I request it be added. This has happened numerous times to me. I request Mayo… they leave it out,. Today my husband ordered an Italian and asked for oil and again, it was completely dry. One time when I ordered a sandwich I told the person who took my order that the last time they forgot the Mayo so plz make sure not to forget again. Guess what ? They did! My nephew ran a sandwich shop that I worked in for 15 years so I know how to make a good sandwich. I also know how to put the filling in a wrap without the wrap falling apart. I know they usually have young people making the sandwiches..maybe they need to be trained a little better.

This is the only place near me that accepts EBT. Usually not very busy, employees are friendly and helpful. They have a good sized parking lot too!

Love this place, great little store to grab a few last minute items. They also have a great deli and some awesome prepared foods options. The alcohol selection is limited because of the size, but they have some awesome local brews and quite a lot of different wines!

Had a young man behind the counter offer to buy the ice cream for my daughter and I this evening. Regardless of my attempted refusals he persisted. I adore the values and tenacity of this young man and this establishment. I commend that young man and the @Rutland Marketplace, I am most impressed and will of course be returning regularly as they display the core values that I wish my children learn and carry on. Thank you!
