Today my experience in this Walgreens was so lovely I almost cried. I know, that sounds nuts, but hear me out. I was buying diapers and this man in line didn’t have enough money, then the guy behind him gave the change. All the while the cashier is patiently waiting and assisting. Next I’m up, and realize I forgot my phone in the car and couldn’t pull up my diaper coupon. The cashier let me sign in then helped me find the coupon. She did not have to do that but she did and sweet. I’m a tired mom of a two little kids and this just made my day.

it is ridiculous that this Walgreens even has makeup provided, because the wall is almost always empty, there are rarely any sales and the prices are ridiculous for expired makeup products. I would never buy makeup here, I would not even steal it (and I was watching a girl dumped a bunch of it into her pocketbook with nobody even noticing)✌️

I absolutely hate going to this Walgreens. For starters, the store is incredibly dirty. I have heard the manager even brag about the fact that he doesnt make anyone sweep. The next point of contention is the fact that the store is never stocked. If I could I would attach a photo of what I witnessed. At least three of the freezers had no items inside. This has become such a common occurrence that I've avoided even going to the store altogether because I know that there wont be anything there. Finally, if I even find what I'm looking for, the cashier staff are far from friendly. But, honestly I can't blame them. If I had to work for those store managers I'd be just as miserable too

Made an appointment for my kids to get covid boosters. Arrived 15 minutes early as suggested, now waiting in line with everyone else (about 10 people ahead of us). I now recall why we went to CVS the last few times.

Went there yesterday to pick up a few items and saw that there were some nice hand soaps on sale. They were originally 4.99 but were on sale for 0.25. I grabbed 3, but the cashier (there was only one working) had to ask another employee to price check. He comes back saying they're 2.49. I'm like okay you know what whatever. I'll just take two of them. So then the dumb cashier puts one in at 2.49 and another at 4.99 and I didn't notice until after I put my credit card in. These people are literally the most incompetent, hire quality employees with brains please! And have more than 1 cashier on any given evening, there was a long line forming behind me.

Went to Columbus avenue Roxbury for my first vaccine almost 2 weeks ago.You'd think the pharmacy staff would of been ready to goInstead it was a disaster.No signs or directions for process.Wrong vaccine listed on website, assistant said sometimes the computer is wrong.They weren't busy at all,the only person helping was the awesome petite,I think latina assistant.The staff and pharmacist were clueless.Then they said I could get my first vaccine their but I had to figure out the second one.🙊Then that nice woman spoke up and educated the staff about vaccine policy.The pharmacist that gave me my shot was rude andSeemed disgruntled,he mentioned he's graduatingsoon,might I recommend not dealing with people as a a career,they don't teach you how to be nice or smile in school,but you never know or assume what's going on in people's lives,and it's your job to make me feel comfortable regardless of what your day is like.After vaccine they said goodbye,no waiting afterwards.I wondered if I even got the vaccine.When I finally reached out to the pharmacy manager,I realized the problem was her,all she gave me was my second appointment and didn't apologize or comfort me as a customer.Now about me.I recently moved to newton from Roxbury,and Ifigured going to Walgreens over in that area was asafe bet,since I find newton very unfriendly,I could be dead on my front yard and noone would notice.But when I lived in fort Hill for 20 years, everyone was awesome,friendly and kind,I miss Roxbury dearly.But I realized when I here of underserved it clicked in.That's what I got.I'm in the customer service industry,if don't treat people well or with respect,I don't make any money.My experience this day was a pharmacy problem,not a front of store issue.

Lots of drama gets started with rude customers. Workers just try to do their job. Overall, the store is very organized.

My doctor sent my after-surgery prescription to this pharmacy because it's 2 minutes from my house. They didn't have one of the drugs so they *automatically* transferred it to another Walgreens, 4 miles from here. When I called them, they said they couldn't send it all over, because some of them were painkillers. Finally, they sent *some* of the prescription over, I still had to go pick up from the far away pharmacy which was not a fun drive right after surgery. The fun part is that they never told me they actually sent some of it here so now I just realized I'm missing some that I have to go pick up now. What a mess, avoid Walgreens.

I went to pick up my friend medicine and happy they ask in pharmacy for id to pick up prescription for pain meds. I personally dislike this site because the supervisor I was asking help from was rude. I go to Warren and quincy street Walgreens which is further from my home for better service. Customer service is key for business. My friend lives next door to this Walgreens but I don't do any business there.

Seems to me more help is needed aat this location with the pharmacy and store in general u have one nice lady that works the register (Spanish) she is very friendly and helpful when I go there iam seeming to have more problems getting my medicine and someone to answer the phone at the pharmacy the other employees are not friendly at all or act like it's a burden to help customers been going there many years live a 2 block radius from considering going to another pharmacy that fits my needs.🤪🤔

This is my neighborhood Walgreens near egleston square and it has improved over the past several years, Wheelchair/mobility impaired accessible parking is definitely good (but not the ramps, sidewalk or accessibility to the store.) Grungy outside.. large parking lot but a hot mess) Often people out front begging for $,and regular to see people in the aisle with you shoving whilst you have to stand in line and pay exorbitant prices for your stuff, management does nothing about itPHARMACY IS GREAT! BUTLIKE SO MANY OTHER PHARMACIES, confidentialitydoesn't exist and in a high-crime area I don't really want the guy behind me to know I'm picking up a controlled substance and by requesting my ID the pharmacist is letting them know that

Constantly find myself scanning products since not all the times prices are not posted on their products specially when its on sale or have points on them when I ask staffs they don't know why. On the other hand, the managers are all wonderful and very polite and always ready to help.

Worst pharmacy ever. Plan to spend 30 minutes to wait for your medication when there is only one person ahead of you.They never have stuff ready. Go to another location.

The pharmacy is the worst!! Not just in Roxbury in other cities as well. Paid for RX in advance on their app & ended up paying for it a 2nd time because the couldn’t find it on their end. All the while I have the saved transaction on my phone with a bar code.

ATTENTION ALL OF BOSTON!! DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION FOR YOU PRESCRIPTION ON MEDICATION OR FOR NOTHING PERIOD! THEY NEVER HAVE ANYTHING IN STOCK AND THE PHARMACY OH GOSH THE PHARMACY! IS A NIGHTMARE!! Most of the staff are very friendly, the prices are fair, my only complain is that they lack on re-stocking skills, they are really slow doing that, also, my mother pick up her medications from this pharmacy and most of the times is a headache when they don't have it, this is very common.
