We've taken our dogs to the Continental for grooming all their lives (over the past 15 years). They're always well taken care of and come out looking great! Brian, Whitney, and Jordan all are incredibly kind and accommodating, and they've been so good about making sure our anxious Lily feels safe and comfortable there after the loss of our other dog, Chewie. They're on top of making sure we know what's going on with our beloved pets and it's greatly appreciated. We highly recommend The Continental!

Every time I take my dog Obi to the Continental her tail is wagging and she can’t wait to get in the door. Once inside the staff all greet her and call her by name (whether it’s been two days or two months since they’ve seen her). That makes Obi feel so welcomed and cared for and it makes it easy for me to leave her knowing she has a full day of play ahead, or more if she’s boarding. The cherry on top is that she comes home and is wiped out! The staff is amazing. Angel, the guy who manages the boarding, went out of his way to call me during my trip because he knew I was nervous leaving her for the first time when she was a puppy. She’s in great hands at Continental. I highly recommend them!

Do not bring your pets here for grooming.We've brought our dogs here a number of times with two incidents. The first one a minor accident (groomer sprayed shampoo in our dog's eye, causing some redness and irritation for a few days), the second one a significant miss that leaves us questioning the competence and trustworthiness of this business. We won't be back and strongly recommend others consider other groomers.We left our rough collie with instructions not to cut or shave his coat and the groomer shaved all but his head and tail. They even got a bit of his whiskers. Regardless of our clear instructions, any groomer should know that you should not shave a double coated dog for health reasons. Our collie had some matted spots, but previous groomers have had no issue getting these areas out. They did not reach out to ask if it was OK to shave matted areas, nor did they call to give any type of heads up that he would be shaved. If they had called and said they couldn't groom him due to his matting, we would have picked him up without the groom.At the end of the day, fur grows back, but we highly question the competence of this grooming business and will not be going back.

I had never brought my cats to the groomers before, but this place was recommended by a friend so I tried it out. The team was super friendly and welcoming to my kitties, who are usually afraid of strangers. When I went back for pickup the kitties looked great! Their fur was trimmed nicely, no hair balls or matting in sight and most importantly they were calm and happy :) Highly recommend the Continental Shoppe for cats or dogs!!!

From a dirty walk in the woods to being an attention grabber. I bring my dog here not just because of the great customer service, but also because the staff is always very friendly and my dog absolutely loves it there. (It’s hard to get him to want to come home sometimes) The staff take great care and they make sure their work is done with a high standard and quality. Love the team over at the Continental. I have a large male German Shepherd who doesnt always love everyone. But whenever we pull up outside the Continental he is running inside to go see his favorite groomer Rose! The whole team is excellent with him and I couldnt be happier either. The new team at the Shoppe are awesome. They really care about your dog's wellbeing during the visit and they're all friendly and professional. My dog came back happy/relaxed instead of stressed like after visiting other groomers. I will happily continue to bring my dog here for grooming and might start to use them for daycare as well.

The continental shoppe is the best grooming and boarding shop I’ve used in all my years of owning dogs and cats. Not only do I take my animals there now, but we’ve been going to the shop for every dog we’ve owned since it opened and love all the staff and owners! Love the Shoppe!! I bring my dog to their daycare and he is always so excited to get there and play with the other dogs. The staff are polite, professional, responsive and know my pup by name. The groomer does a really good job here but unfortunately the business is not run well. It’s disorganized and chaotic. Several times I’ve showed up an appointment and they don’t have it in the books and look at me like it’s inconvenient to “fit” my dog in. I showed up for an appointment today and was told that there are now grooming appointments for 2 weeks. When I pointed out that I had an appointment the counter person said they thought they called everyone and cancelled.I’m not going back.

My daughter works here. Her second job, absolutely awesome place. Super friendly. Clean, their skill level with the animals is phenomenal. They also board and have a great relationship with their customers and their regular "family" customers which everyone becomes. Bring all your pets and literally just sit back and take a break let the incredible pros take care of your babies while you relax.

They shaved my very fluffy cat in the middle of winter without asking me. I then called hoping to talk to somebody about a refund. The employee I spoke to was incredibly rude. I told I don’t appreciate the way he spoke to me and he just raised his voice almost to the point of yelling. I repeatedly told him I am not interested in arguing with him I just wanted to talk to a manager. Rather than take my information down so a manager could call me he just hung up on me. When I eventually get to talk to a manager they absolutely REFUSE to give me a refund even though they completely shaved my cat against my permission. This is hands-down the worst customer service experience I have ever had. If you have any love and respect for your pets a highly highly highly recommend you go anywhere else.

We have been taking our Coton, Wilson here for 2 years; mind you we do not live close so whenever we get him groomed we stay out for the day until he is done. This last time, we dropped him off at 10am and requested him to be done by 3pm. We heard nothing and decided to come back at 4pm and he hadn’t even been groomed yet. The groomer said he would be done by 5pm, and then we still had yet to receive a phone call. We come back at 6pm, the groomer had LEFT FOR THE DAY, NO PHONE CALL, and when I came in my dog was the only one left upstairs and was painfully howling. I asked the guy working if he was done and he said yes, and I asked why didn’t we get a call then??? “Apparently” he had JUST been finished getting groomed. To come back to pick him up and the groomer already having left for the day is absurd and unprofessional. Also, he got no bow tie or bandana, on St Patty’s day!!!!! We like the quality of the grooming but the communication between the workers is nonexistent. They do not care about telling you the truth and therefore do not care about your dogs.

Love the continental so much! I'm actually a groomer here and was the kennel manager pre-covid. During my time away because of COVID I learned how to groom and 4 years later have made a full circle and came back, because of my love for the clients and they're sweet fur babies! I can promise you that the receive the best care and I love them as my own!! If you need anything for your dogs/cats give me a call at the shop! I'm there Tuesday through Saturday 7-10am weekdays and 8-10 Saturday, hope to hear from y'all soon!!!

Very disappointed. Dropped my dog off at 8a, they said she would be done by 3p. We arrived at 3p and they hadn't even started on her grooming. They said to come back in 45 minutes and she would be done. 45 min later, they still weren't done. It wasn't until 5p that they groomed her. Her groomer, Jackie, missed mats under her armpits and behind her ears. When we got home, our dog was so thirsty, it's as if she didn't have any water all day. We are very disappointed in this experience and will not return. We spoke with the groomer about this and she said we could come back and she would get the mats out. However after this experience, we will not be returning.
