Was 5 stars, but I lowered it because of my experience today.I brought my dog in to get some food and potentially a new toy, but upon entering we were greeted by the screeching sound of an angle grinder on metal. My dog is not fond of loud noises so this was a no go for us.The staff were super helpful and offered to get whatever I needed, but my dog was way to scared to even stay in the store.Unfortunately, this meant bringing her home and then going to the local grocery store to get her food. Essentially a huge waste of my time.Obviously things break and need to be repaired, but to do so in a store when pets are expected to be there is just poor planning. Something like this should be done off hours (and I got there almost an hour after they opened).Again the staff are super helpful and the selection is great, but this is clearly a failure on management and/or corporate.Do better.

I received a coupon for Pet Supplies Plus, so decided to stock up on some treats and bedding for my rabbit and mouse. I requested local delivery and received a call from Joe about one of the items I had ordered, as it was no longer available. He was so professional and friendly and willing to either refund for that item or find a substitution. When my order was delivered on the same day, I found a very nice handwritten thank you note from him. Would definitely order from here again!

Recently placed an order for delivery online. Unfortunately, DoorDash (who handles local delivery for the store) made a mistake and misdelivered the package to the wrong address, and I was unable to locate it.I called the store and spoke with the manager, Angela. She could not have been any nicer, and was very apologetic for the experience (even though it was DoorDash’s fault, not hers!). She was very friendly and easy to work with, and she immediately set aside a replacement order for me. I decided to pick it up in store myself to avoid another DoorDash error. Angela even left a nice note with the order! Thank you Angela for turning a negative experience into a positive one. Will definitely shop with this store again.

We love shopping at Pet Supplies Plus. A primary reason is their focus on customer service. When you need assistance, there are actually people available to offer it. When you check out at the register, someone offers to help you load your purchases into your car. When you call on the phone, someone answers. We couldn't be happier.

The staff here is very, nice but the manager is extremely rude, condescending and ANTI-customer service. He told me that “he cannot “control fate” when my order was messed up. No apology and just full of rudeness. Go elsewhere!

Pet supply in West Roxbury. It’s been in my life for a couple years now everything you need for your pets you will fine here. ( - Dogs Are Not” Sold Here - ) Birds and fish. They are sold here but unfortunately No puppies but a great store to come and get everything you need For that special bunch,,,,,, in this case, I went shopping for a nest box for My Mating, parakeets.

Lots of option’s but pricey for a bulk items store. Buy in bulk the higher quality pet foods. Made in the USA and other supplies.They desperately need self check out isle.

The sales associates here are wonderful! Genuinely nice and helpful. When they are uncertain of something, they say so, and then track down the information for you - even if their store doesn't carry a corresponding product. The selection is very good - great, considering the size of store!

Wonderful experience here! Great price here and staffs here are all friendly!! Two managers here, one is a super kind lady reach out to me from the phone even I leave a mistake phone number.; another is Matt a patient gentle man help me with both online and in store orders. They are busy but patient and friendly. I will back again! Great place to shop for your pets.

This place is great. The selection, prices, and rewards program are all excellent, but the customer service is truly the best. Online ordering and curbside pickup became my go to during Covid and continues to be my main way of shopping here. The staff if always super sweet.

A great location of this chain. The staff are friendly and helpful and know the products and where they are. They also almost always have the specific dog and cat products (treats including specialty dental treats, food, cat litter, etc.) that I need, i.e. well stocked. They also regularly partner with *local* pet shelters for donation opportunities of food or pet supplies. I have met so many cool dogs here too, with other customers.

I was so fortunate to get the biggest Iams urinary cat food my son stumbled upon it $10 and big cat snack $9 today was a good day in my ice cube voice. Oreo my tuxedo cat made out like a champ 🏆.

My wife who's very tiny and went to the register with a 50 lb bag of dog food, the gentleman working the register asked her if she can lift the bag up so he can scan the barcode the gentleman was in his twenties, my wife is very tiny what he should have done is grab the hand scanner and scan the bar code while it was in the cart.

I'm giving one star because the staff is AWESOME but management thinks it's ok for them to come to work in 98 degree weather with no air conditioning. You can do better by your staff, I'm furious that you would have them work in these conditions. You would treat your pets better.
