Not the best experience, items were scattered around, makes it feel like a scavenger hunt except you find out the product you’re looking for is out of stock, didn’t seem like staff were to very interested to be there. Good amount of parking though.

Horrible. They sold me a glider and only gave me half order I spent 2 hours looking for the parts to find out they didn’t give me all the boxes.

This store is close but I'm almost always disappointed. I called after an online order was ready. The email said I could call and have the item ready when I got there but the person on the phone sounded so put out to even confirm my order and when I arrived a few mins later I waited a bit and was told I should kill some time and wait bc they needed the register to check out other people. Another visit more recently I was attempting to shop and a different person blocked my path while I was mid aisle, and dumped product on the floor so that not only was a cart of product blocking the aisle but now there was also a pile. She saw me. She just didn't care if customers could shop or use the aisle. After backing the cart up awkwardly and seeing the long line, I decided that I should just leave. I do appreciate that they allow you to use the bathroom unlike dollar tree, but I now do most of my shopping in a different town.

Empty the trunk of the car. Cause your going to buy a few more items than you went for. LOLI use to give my wife a hard time when she came home after shopping at Ocean State.So I figured I'd go if we needed something.Well, beware. I got the items I couldn't find elsewhere. Many, many items are there that I didn't think I would use. But I do! And they seem to be expanding the inventory and the folks are friendly

I was looking for a 25 lb. bag of bird food and I happened to be in the area, and ended up with a 35 lb bag for the same price of the 25 lb. Guess where I'll be going when it's time to replenish.

A bunch of my favorite brands either test products here or the ones that aren’t selling well go to ocean state to die. In this case, every other store has removed my favorite energy drink and I bought eight cases at Rockland Ocean State before they’re gone for good and the blonde cashier who helped me, whose name I did not catch, did not judge me in the slightest and she was hilarious. 1000/10. Thank you for understandingPlus the crazy deal gift card on something I was already going to buy was a very nice bonus

I purchased 83.44 worth of items. I was told I got a "free" 29.99 gift card. My total was 118.65. I totalled everything and went back in. The associate ARGUED with me saying I wasn't charged that it's free money. I explained, if you take a calculator and add it up, I should have only paid 83.44 with 5.22 in taxes. She rerang everything up and still proceeded to add the gift card to "prove me wrong". we are being charge charged the gift card and being told it's free money so the store get more sales because now you HAVE to use the gift card that YOU bought. I would rather have been charged my regular amount with no gift card. Such a scam

Great selection. Find things here that you would never think to look for. Staff is effective, fast and friendly. Prices are unbeatable. Do yourself a solid and get in there and get in on a "Crazy Deal" and you can scratch your charity itch too.

I got some great flavored coffee here. They have a great selection of food too. Their prices are reasonable. They not only have food, but other reasonably items you can purchase. I got a pair of wool socks for winter for $3.99.

They have a great variety of every day items and seasonal items as well as great prices. This is my go to for any household item inside and outside. Customer service is always pleasant and helpful. Parking is always a breeze and if they don't have what your looking for Family Dollar is right next door and chances are they'll have what you need. Best of both worlds.

Love this place. Not because of the variety of great products or the very low pricing... it's the people that work there. It seems every time I go I have some terrific interaction with one if their workers, often times at the check out. Yes! Human interaction! With friendly, helpful people! I love OSJL!!! I always find everything I need plus more. The prices are excellent and the quality of the products they sell are sturdy, durable and long-lasting. I love their cell phone accessories, their seasonal items, household items and their beauty products are the best!! Normally what it would cost to get some of the name brands they sell are almost too good to be true. But it's no dream. And finally, the staff are always helpful and friendly.

I know that new things are coming into the stores all the time but these people need some organizational skills too many things in the aisles that you can trip on. Also just to remind people that when you buy an item let's say a vacuum for instance it says on the box that is has been refurbished. I bought three tablets last year and they were refurbished tablets and after 1 month they did not work and I could not take them back and get my money back so even if it's cheap that doesn't mean that it's good

I love Ocean State Job lot... The staff works very hard to keep the store in great condition and I have to say that they are consistently upbeat and friendly. I almost always find what I'm looking for and if not there's plenty of other items to choose from!

This is a good place to find bargains. The store is fairly large. They have what they call crazy deals which can really be quite a bargain. When you buy something you get a crazy deal coupon that can be worth quite a bit towards a future purchases. I have been to several of these doors and would definitely go back again.

The staff was unfriendly and unpleasant, so were the customers that go there. I will not go back. I purchased a small, ceramic pot and the cashier didn't wrap it, or even put it in a bag! Just pushed it closer to me. Never again. I treat everyone kindly, there is no need to be rude or completely unpleasant. Don't like your job? Found a new one.

They have stuff. Lots and lots of it. Basic retail areas...candy, cosmetics, cleaning supplies, diapers and seasonal, holiday stuff. Go w general needs in mind...paper hand towels...but not specific brands. If you didn't mind going here and then other stores for household stuff, and had discipline not to impulse buy, then over time you'd save $$, as opposed to one stop grocery store for example.

Cool little gadgets all kinds of flash lights or lanterns. A lot of things seem out of place, go to pay for an item, & a few times items were 4-23$ more than it said. Someone evidently put them in wrong place I guess?

OSJL is my favorite store. I get such great deals there... they have all the dog stuff, outerwear, kitchen stuff, food, cosmetics, bath towels, etc. Seasonal, in fact they have everything to put gifts in: bags, boxes, paper, and cards. Soon they'll have great wreaths. They have crazy deals where they discount items or give you a gift card for the same price as the items, so ITS FREE! I just got 100 pounds of birdseed for short money! Check it out! Bobs red mill stuff, some gluten free, for way less than any other store! Friendly people and all sorts of food!

This was the cleanest, most organized Ocean State i have visited in long time. There was friendly and helpful staff throughout the store - something you rarely experience at a Job Lot. I will make it a point to return to this location.

I like the store but I see that many products get lost on other shelves which makes our purchase difficult. I think it would improve if they put for example Lindt chocolates, all on the same shelf, polar drinks on the same shelf, ... thank you!!!

Great Customer service employees and customer follow the protocols, social distancing and the cashier was very nice and curteous offer us hand sanitizer for our hands at the end of our transactions, I like that, made me feel safe. Please Keep up the good job.

I love Ocean State Job Lot. This Rockland location& the Marshfield location, are the two closest to me. I honestly would've gave them 5 stars, but just about every time I shop here, there's grumpy or rude employees. Which is one thing I just really have no patience for. I did one time have the nicest cashier, who was just a teenager! Helped us with coupons and with signing up for a Job Lot Rewards card too. Super pleasant, friendly, & helpful. And just a kid. I remember his name tag said, "Sean." So honestly, I hope he gets credit where credit is due here! He was even nicer and more helpful, than the management!- I hope this teenager is shown that hard work& being friendly& helpful, pays off!- With a bonus in his check, or a raise in his pay. Seriously. 👍

Sometimes you leave there with a deal and sometimes you just leave there. The place is really beat up and run down. Stuff is pretty much thrown on the shelves. But sometimes you do make out in there, and it's a really good place to get things that you don't care if they last very long.
