The best place for cider and cinnamon donuts . They have a great selection of apples and they make their own wine and hard cider. There is a great area for tastings and they have some chairs and couches in front of a fireplace when you are trying the wines and they play some music on a flat screen over the fireplace. In the winter they have snow shoeing and trails for Ross country skiing. The owners david and his wife Sarah are the best.

Had a wonderful afternoon at this orchard and winery with my Mom, brother and his boyfriend. Sara was so pleasant and the other woman who helped us with the wine tasting was so nice too. All of the wine was so delicious! We purchased a bunch to go, along with some apple cider donuts. Thank you so much for such a great time. We will definitely be back. Check it out if you want a nice day out with your family!!!

Hilltop Orchards is a friendly, fun, and absolutely delicious winery! They welcomed my bachelorette party group with open arms. The wine tasting was so fun, yummy, and so were the donuts. The owners are very kind and giving. We had a blast! 10/10!

The best donuts in the Berkshires and the hard cider is delicious, too (the original has a bourbon-y flavor). The staff and owners are all incredibly nice and welcoming. This is the second year we chose this orchard for our family apple picking day and it has not disappointed. The orchard is beautiful and well maintained. Though the apples all across New England were hit hard this season we were happy to have any apples at all to pick and they still taste great! We have such gratitude for a business that is also dog-friendly. Our 2-year-old had a wonderful time munching apples, rolling down hills, and of course, eating several donuts. We hope to come back later this season for some hiking!

The cider donuts are (in my opinion) the best thing here. Don't miss out! I only wish I had come with more room in my stomach. A great place to lounge with some friends by the fire in the winter. The employees here are also so friendly!

Great place with very limited interior seating. Good products, great service no picturesque views, great fireplace. We have come here multiple times. Hard to enjoy the wine and tasting when so many children in the building.

What can I say?! The moment I stepped into this lovely Winery I could smell the donuts in the air. Let me tell you the donuts smelled as good as they looked and tasted. Sara greeted my wife and I right when we walked in and made us feel at home. Sara’s personality and positive attitude made the experience unforgettable. The wine and cider were incredible. They had incredible tastes. The fireplace was also nice to sit in front of while having a drink. If I could recommend this to any one I would say it’s a must when visiting Stockbridge.

This is one of our favorite places to visit every time we come in the fall to the Berkshires. It’s a great way to spend a few hours as you relax enjoying the apple orchards, eating a few of their delicious donuts, drink some warm apple cider or enjoy the warm sun as you sit near the gazebo. For those who like to do some wine tasting, you have a wonderful choice of different wines and hard ciders you can drink while you are there. All in all, it’s a wonderful place to visit if you are in the area.

We were staying at Jiminy Peak and read this was a short drive for a hike and wine/cider tasting. Glad we made the trip. After a brisk walk we tasted ciders & wines, ate fresh doughnuts and had a great time. The owners are extremely knowledgeable and were the best hosts. Loved everything we tasted and bought jams & wines to take back home. Highly recommend

I just visited here this past weekend. Great apple picking in the Berkshires. I really liked the fireplace inside. They have both wine and cider tastings. The cider doughnuts are delicious. The staff are really friendly and upbeat. Will be back next fall.

We were visiting from Pa and decided to stop by . We called ahead of time and spoke to Sara. She was so pleasant and bubbly from the start . When we got there Sara did our tasting. She was so friendly and you can tell she enjoys what she does . We had a wonderful time . Sara really made the trip to the winery worth it . Went on Sunday for some apple picking. It was our first visit here and had a great time. The have parking in several places, and when we arrived around 10:30am there was not many people.They are currently asking to schedule a time in advance, but you can still show up with out an appointment. Due to the virus pandemic, they are charging a 3$ fee per person to avoid having to raise prices, which seemed like a fair deal. The good thing is they are not charging by the pound but instead by the bag. So be sure to fill your bag to make it fully worth it.The trees seemed to be a little older, taller, and wilder than some of the orchards I have been to in the past. We still managed to fill our lage and medium bags, but it wasn't easy finding them as there were fewer apples this year due to the drier weather conditions this region has been experiencing. Not to mention an earlier than usual frost. We bought some of their doughnuts and wow they were great, even a day later! They were very moist and not dry like you would get at some places.Overall we had a great time and will add this to list of orchards we have to visit again.

My intuition served me correct today. I have encountered this woman who is like a breath of fresh air every time I have come to the Hilltop Orchards. She is sweet, knowledgeable and seems to genuinely love to be there helping her customers. This is now my 3rd time coming to the Orchard this year. I come here so frequently because their signature “Princess Sara” Strawberry Rose is the ONLY alcohol I will drink. I later learned the wine was specially made by the owners husband as a gift for his wife Sara (so freaking cute). Well, today, my spouse Brandon and I had stopped by for our usual Wine and Cider Donuts- of course the stop would not be complete without seeing our breath of fresh air at the front table. Except this time I had to get over my own social anxiety and ask her name so that I could write a review about how wonderful their employee was showing that much pride in the business consistently. What do you know her name is Sara! Suddenly it seemed my favorite Wine at Hilltop Orchards also matched my favorite Person at Hilltop Orchards! 10/10 recommend coming here- You will not be disappointed.

The BEST DONUTS EVER. Seriously. These donuts will ruin every other cider donut for you. Not to mention Sara and her team are the absolute BEST. They made 20 dozen for our wedding, driving them 4 hours up to Woodstock NH for our big day. Our guests literally cannot stop talking about them, and many are now planning trips to visit Hilltop. Stop in and try them, you’ll never like another cider donut again!

Overall pretty good experience. We went on a Wednesday and it wasn't very crowded. We picked apples, and did the wine and beer tasting. The staff was nice. This was our first time picking apples so more info on the apple types and how they are picked and grown would have been helpful and interesting. Very pretty farm.

A delicious fall day trip here is in order when possible to taste the sublime J mash hard cider as well as the others which I mixed and matched to bring home. Beautiful scenery and rustic shop that allows plenty of outdoor places to enjoy the fruits of their labors. Hilltop is a delight for he senses

One of our favorite local orchard and winery in the Berkshires to visit in the fall. We discovered this place by passing by and don’t regret finding it. Before you start picking, get in on the $7 wine tasting. Then head out to the orchard, it’s easy to get around and some trees are marked so you know what you’re picking. Don’t forget to go back to the bakery for hot apple cider, candied apples and PIE (which two of us ate in under 24hrs). Oh and if you come on a Sunday, they do show football on the flat screen.

Sunday was a beautiful day for our most recent visit to Hilltop Orchards. We laid a blanket under an apple tree and enjoyed a picnic lunch in the sunshine. Add an adult beverage from the orchard's selection of wines and hard ciders made on site, and I can't imagine a nicer afternoon. Freshly made cider donuts are great for dessert, but be sure to get extra for a snack. David and Sara are so warm and welcoming, I look forward to many return visits in the years to come.

Hilltop Orchards is a staple for visitors passing through during fall foliage season. They have top notch wine tastings and the BEST apple cider donuts (I cannot emphasize BEST enough tbh). I bought half a dozen to bring back to family and they never made it out of the airbnb.

At first glance, this seemed like a quiet little winery with subpar wine. In reality, the wine here slaps really well, and the environment is super lively. I didn’t like the Malbec or any of their fancy stuff, but 2 glasses of their regular Cabernet had me feeling like a billion dollars. Great music and best of all, the FIREPLACE! Unreal, will def be back!!! Love and peace 🙂

Winter , Spring, summer and fall this is where you want to be. Sarah and David are amazing and the staff is so friendly. Love me all the wines and I will continue to come back!
