I recently took my dog to Petco for grooming and was extremely disappointed with the service. Here are my concerns:Poor Quality Grooming: The haircut was nothing like what I requested, as shown by before and after photos.Unauthorized Changes: The groomer made significant alterations without my consent, including cutting my dog's hair much shorter than requested.Disregard for Appointment Time: The service was delayed, and my dog was kept far longer than necessary.Extended Confinement: My dog was left in a cage for an excessive amount of time, causing distress.Impact on Special Occasion: This was particularly upsetting as it was my dog's first birthday, and the poor grooming ruined our celebration plans.I hope Petco addresses these concerns promptly. Thank you.

The staff is really nice but they should do a better job with stocking up on fish supplies I know mostly dogs and cat owners shop here but sometimes it would be helpful if they stocked up on fish items. I have to travel all the way to either Medford or Saugus just to buy fish supplies when I live in revere. It’s been like this for at least 3 months now

I brought my dog to get a short haircut I got the total opposite I am pissed wayy off looks like she never got a haircut the hair is still super long . I won’t ref nobody to them at all and they not willing to fix the problem . And I don’t think they bath her neither she doesn’t smell clean . Be aware don’t waste ur money or time

I came to get a few goldfish. No one was around so I helped myself. Got a bag. Filled it with tank water and proceeded to get my fish. A dude came over extremely rude. Asking who I was with. Confused I said what. He just kept asking who I was with and I said I’m a customer getting my fish. He acted all mad and said he will pretend to not of seen what I did but next time I better ask for help. He could have been way nicer. The cashier had a little attitude too. I’ll spend the extra 10 minutes and go to a different petco next time. Just so rude!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Petco on Squire Rd in Revere, MA. The retail store employees demonstrated a concerning level of laziness, especially during peak hours when there was a substantial line. Instead of efficiently assisting customers, they seemed more interested in casual conversation amongst themselves. To make matters worse, some employees even laughed in the face of customers who were clearly frustrated with the long wait. The overall lack of professionalism and customer service at this Petco location left a lasting negative impression. I highly recommend potential customers consider alternative pet stores with better service standards.

When I went up to the counter to pay, the man behind the counter was eating Doritos and Oreo cookies with them right next to the register. Then another employee came up and grab some Doritos also. I had two bags of dog food some ear cleaner and some toys and was told he didn't have any bags.

This Place is a joke and some workers treat their customers with such disrespect. I Was in Line waiting 10 minutes at this point with 2 other customers waiting behind me and 2 in front of me. ALEX the "manager" comes to the front of the store to help a customer who was already waiting for him. After that ALEX left. Now there is 4 people behind me and 1 person in front of me and it's now been 20 min. ALEX comes to the register presses buttons on the register and tells the cashier "If you need help just let me know" . I said " Of course he needs help we've been waiting and standing here for over 15 minutes now, you came and left us hanging" ALEX pretty much blames the cashier saying "Well he never told us" . I responded YOU SAW US HERE! YOU HELPED ONE PERSON AND LEFT, HE DIDN'T NEED TO TELL YOU!" He then said "Well now you can wait longer" and he left the store. Left the cashier alone to help everyone. Just abandoned the store. THIS IS A MANAGER? The owner needs to get to the bottom of this nonsense. This is what customer service has become in 2023. You're paying this guy to NOT DO HIS JOB. What a joke. There are plenty of other places I can buy my dogs food.

Very good people work at Petco revere location, excellent customer service, great attitude, they all go an extra mile and beyond, they always smile, good knowledge, and ready to help with anything, big thanks to all Petco revere 02151.Note: the store is very busy and if Petco company can get more staff to help the current wonderful staff, it will be awesome.Thank you Petco, we love you and we are loyal customers for ever.

Ordered cat litter for delivery and arrived covered in sticky and smelly substance. Upon opening, discovered mouse droppings in the bag. Highly unsanitary and massively concerned about the spread of disease/illness.

Friday july 8th 2022 we came into the petco revere store around 5:00pm and we were going to surprise my cousin with some fishes for his birthday but we were devastated as soon as we saw the fish section we seen a lot of the them in the tanks dead . We talked to a worker and her response was they “were short staffed and had no aquatic specialist “ anyone can clean out dead fishes.This is not acceptable .Two other workers were there ,one flirting with a customer and the other just walking around. Horrible store

I was looking for some cat food and I ended up finding a great employee she was amazing I wish I would have asked for her name but she was restocking cat food I was in the store on Tuesday October 17 roughly around 730 ish or so... She was extremely helpful and had so much patience with all of my questions.

I love this place.... since my sister brought Kika to the house.... I am just in love.... Petco was staff was very friendly, the weeks with the classes helped us all in the house to interact better with Kika ... Mike the trainer was spectacular... thanks petco.. ohh and the snacks.. yummy!!!!

I don’t recommend this store, the manager was super rude and didn’t want to sell me some birds and the cashier didn’t help with that . I wanted to buy a small cage for the birds transportation and they prefer to give a box 📦 and I didn’t want that , I feel like it was discriminated. Horrible experience .

All three employees were attentive. I shared what I knew about cane molasses being high in calcium and magnesium possibly bothering dogs with kidney stone issues and they listened; they have a wonderful open biscuit bar that list the ingredients of the different 🐕treats. (A couple cookies have molasses.) My friend goes there regularly for fish. The store is clean, well-tended and well-stocked. *Regina* was terrific! I will go back!!!.I did not see any pets for sale besides the fish, and my friend told me about ferrets being there (and birds?). May I suggest for a lifelong bud (cat/dog) you entertain the idea of the animal shelters, as Petco is where the pets Go-not necessarily where they get picked up 🐱🐈🐶🐕🤗 nanatracey

Not a great shopping experience. The store smells really bad. There were carts with random products just thrown on them. A package of small animal bedding was open and bedding was spilled on the shelf and floor. The few bettas they had were in sad shape. The only employees I saw were up at the registers, talking to each other. Between the mess, and the smell, I just wanted to get out of there. I didn’t buy anything and probably will not go in this location again.

So I went to this location months ago and I was more than displeased to say the least. They were the closest and the only one open and we were a bit desperate for wet food for a picky kitty. The experience that night was so awful we vowed never to go back. BUT I recently broke that vow and went back in and this place seems like they are doing a lot better now and cleaned things up. Will come back again for some kitty treats.

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT step foot in this store if you love and value your dog, your time and your money. This place has turned into a complete disaster in the last couple of years. the icing on the cake for me was when I went there last week for a grooming appointment after months of trying to find an appointment slot. I get there only to be told they havent had a groomer there IN OVER A MONTH!! Then why the hell did the website let me make the appointment and then also receive a text on my phone the day before confirming the appointment?? I had to take time off a very busy work day to deal with that nonsense and lost valuable time and money. Guy at the store told me sorry it shouldn’t have let you make an appointment online, try another store. When I called corporate to speak with someone in charge, I was told I'd get a call back from a manager within the hour, that was a week ago lol!!!

For real, what happened to this store? I found maggots in my dogs dry food and they weren't even surprised. The entire store has a very powerful urine smell from the unclean cages as well as the defication on the floor the employees seem to ignore . I have a feeling they're looking for some new management. You gotta see this place 😂
