a veritable smorgasbord of a store! you can find everything you need! groceries, large meat section, cleaning supplies, produce, meals, desserts and they even have a sub shop (delish!). the employees are wonderful, very nice, helpful and always happy. the only thing i have to say is how shocking the prices are. hence i can't go there often but will treat myself now and again.

Since Augie sold Chartley, it seems the new owners aren't getting the same quality meat as the store was always known for. Not sure I like the new additions - I purchased some bakery things that seemed pricey and the items were all stale. They seem to have expanded the grocery section which is ok if you need something in a hurry, but I've always gone for their meat and the section where Augie always kept the sides has been radically reduced in size so there's not as much choice if you want something cut to order. I guess we'll see...prices are up everywhere but it was worth the extra $$ for the best butchers around...hope to see things improve.

My wife and I wanted a corned beef dinner yet the grocery stores did not have any corned beef. So I went to Chartleys and ordered a 4lb corned beef brisket. It was simply the best brisket I ever had. It was perfectly brined, moist a tender. If you do not use Chartleys as your butcher you are not getting quality beef and chicken and I’ll bet you are paying to much for that grocery store poor quality meat and chicken.

I have to give them 1 🌟 my last bundle I bought from them was not real good the chicken was I think on the verge of going badAlso I bought 2 pounds of roast beef deli and 2 days later it was rotten. Idk what happened with my order. I spend 410.00 dollars for some of the things we're not good quality and didn't taste good. I don't think I will go back to them I can't afford to buy food that isn't good

Fantastic meat selections and homemade marinades. Bakery was a great addition. There are some great nostalgic treats by the register too. So happy to have this place in my neighborhood. Best blade around.

So first time shopper but have been following on Facebook for awhile now. When I saw how they stepped up to the plate to help out the Rehoboth baking company was when I decided that I needed to support Charley's. Not only did I order pizza for dinner but also got a meat package deal and a sub. Will definitely be back

When your looking for a T-Bone, sirloin burgers, or even some cohogs, this is the place to go. Having a pig roast, go get a 1/2, 1/4 or whole one. Local fresh meats and vegetables. Plus it's in a great little plaza. You may even find more you like in one location. Take a drive!

Very disappointed with my last visit. Got 15 miniature pastries, a slice of chocolate cake and a red velvet cupcake and paid $55 almost $56. Sent an inquiry through FB messenger and haven't heard back and that was Sat afternoon.

We love Chartley’s! They are friendly and always have everything we need! Good variety with a great meat selection. We tried the new bakery goods today and will definitely try more. The pecan pie was excellent!

The quality on the meats and poultry seems to be declining. The last time I was there the raw chicken legs and tenders were sitting in their own juices and did not look appealing at all.

Great meat, always friendly staff with a small town feel. The meat here blows away any grocery store and has many options. Also there are many homemade stuffed chicken breast, marinated chicken, marinated steak, stuffed pork chops and other food that is prepped that is just delicious. Highly recommend and you probably won't want to buy meat anywhere besides a meat market after.

I only gave it 3 stars even though I love the place because I think they could have more inventory. Fill the shelves up a bit more and give us customers more choice. The meat counter however is awesome with some great selection of products. Love the Chartleys burgers.

Chartley Country Store is a gem. The snack selection is great, the deli is strong, but the hot bar is where the party’s at. Listen, I know you must be wondering, “then what’s with the 4 Star rating”. Oh dear reader, let me tell you.Upon seeing their delicious chicken tenders grace my eyes, I knew what I had to get.For the price of $5 you can have five thicc, perfectly crisped tendies in your paws in minutes. Here’s the thing: are these made from free range, organic chicken? No. But for what you are paying this are some of the best value tendies you’ll ever toss down your gullet.The only glaring issue, poor sauce selection.
