Our sweet Lab goes to Performance Plus for both occasional day care as well as boarding. He absolutely loves it, begins whining in happiness as we round the corner to its location and does not look back when we drop him off. We KNOW he will be safe there, will have so much fun playing and socializing with other dogs and will be in capable, responsible hands. The care given to all dogs at Performance Plus is five stars. We highly recommend it!

Incredibly negative experience. I brought my dog here for grooming a handful of times, and it was ALWAYS hit or miss. After my last experience, I won’t return. It took over 5 hours for my dog to be groomed, and when I arrived, a staff member was yelling at kenneled dogs to “BE QUIET.” I was incorrectly charged by a staff member after one grooming appt (total cost was different after every appointment, so I didn’t flag this as concerning), and despite the staff member’s clerical error, they insisted it was my responsibility to pay the $10 difference that I “owed” over 8 weeks after the service date. When I asked about the clerical error, customer service was incredibly rude. They’d rather lose a consistent customer than $10? Disappointing.

I have been bringing my one year old black lab here since we got him in the spring last year. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and treatment he receives when there. We took puppy training classes with Meghan which were great and I use their day care services 1-2 times a week to break up his week while we are at work/school and have him socialize with other dogs. If I say "do you want to go play with the puppies" he will come running and will not even sit still to put on his leash which is typically not the case. I truly feel the staff treat him like family and never worry about him when he is there. I am going to be leaving for a vacation and am so happy I know he will have a safe, fun place to stay with lots of love and care. I highly recommend K-9 Performance and cannot thank them enough for their stellar service.

Avoid this place. The handler injured my dog while removing from cage. Claims dog caught a toe but the story later changed to pulled out of collar and slammed into cage.My dog tore her CCL and required 4000 dollar surgery to walk again. Management refuses to accept responsibility and reimburse me for the costs. Staff is either poorly trained or is mishandling the dogs.I will now need to retain a lawyer and take them to court to cover my loss.If you have reasonable expectations that your dog will be cared for…..this is not a place to bring your pet.

I started taking my golden retriever pup here over the summer. She is very submissive in nature and skittish. Since going to daycare at Performance Plus, I have seen such a positive difference in her demeanor and confidence. She runs to get in the door now whereas the first few days I had to carry her in. Everyone has been so kind and professional and I know that she is safe and happy while she’s there!

I take my two dogs there for agility, daycare, and general training. They also offer boarding, grooming, and many other classes such as nosework, trick dog and competition obedience. I really recommend the puppy classes as well as the CGC course. They've helped tremendously with getting our shy dog out of her shell!

After adopting our first puppy my fiance and I wanted to make sure that we got the best start possible with his training to ensure we raised a well-behaved dog.We've found exactly that with Performance Plus K9; our trainer Erica is absolutely fantastic and great to work with. Her extensive experience, firm but playful disposition, and patient approach to training make her great for the dogs and owners alike. She's a wealth of advice and information when it comes to any behaviour questions regarding your new companion, or even an old dog that needs to learn new tricks (like not barking for attention lol)

Amazing staff and clean building. My dog starts to wag her tail the min we turn down the street to the building. She loves the doggy daycare and their grooming services. We recently just used their boarding services for the first time and no complaints. Highly recommend!

We love Performance Plus! We took our now almost 4 year old Border Collie/Cattle Dog Mix there for training when she was a puppy. Great experience for her and the family!Now we take our Morkie puppy there for grooming and could not be happier! The staff are so friendly and kind and the service is great!

My dog has a blast in competition obedience training classes with Nancy! She is a wonderful instructor, very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. My dog also loves her, and wiggles at the sight of the building now.

I've been taking my Corso pup weekly for Stay-n-Train for about a month now. At first I wasn't sure how to tell if she was enjoying it. For the first visit Faye didn't want to leave my side. Each visit since she's looked back at me less and less. Last week she pranced in the front door ad never looked back! Everyone I've met is kind and I usually get a quick status report when I pick her up. I can tell that her manners are being reinforced and I'm very thankful for that.

Extremely dissatisfied by this business. Brought my dog for daycare and told them to call me if he had any issues. I did not receive a phone call all day and was told at pick up that he was extremely nervous and didn’t play all day. I paid $45 for my dog to sit in a kennel all day and be scared out of his mind when with a simple phone call I could have gotten him and avoided this. Huge waste of money and unfair to my dog. These people calling themselves trainers is an absolute joke.

There is a pet groomer at PPK9..no line..no waiting..boarding and day care availability first come first serve...training classes to private ring rentals..very clean..the staff is very informative on training and they do have a small store for treats and essentials

Was really disappointed after hearing good things. All in all our dog basically learned two tricks during the entire class and that's about it. We spent time outside of the class trying to teach our dog but whenever we tried to apply it in real world scenarios nothing really stuck and we didn't get a ton of feed back in class to help get through it. Classes moved very slowly, spending about 20 minutes of every session doing things we learned the first session (like bubble work, even in the last session), which is fine if the rest of the time was spent moving a little quicker or learning new things, but it never really did. Most sessions ended with being told to practice bubble work or getting the dog to respond to its name. Instructor was nice but seemed to be a little all over the place, every session started late and ended late. In total they taught bubble work, lining your dog up on the correct side of your body, and walking next to you as well as two tricks (touch and spin, which were both taught to us after being told theyre basically just for show and arent part of training). I wasnt sure what to expect at the beginning but I know we felt felt underwhelmed for what we got out of it. The kicker was they had to cancel a session last minute and had rescheduled it on a date we already had plans and couldn't make. They wouldn't give us a refund for the day and stopped responding to us about making the time up. Training is definitely a "you get out what you put into it" type thing, but given the money and the fact that there were only 3 dogs total in our group, we were really disappointed with what we got out of it and their customer service (they also try to sell you on a bunch of stuff you don't really need that aren't cheap).
