I came here after upgrading my nano tank to a bigger one. The owner is so knowledgeable and was so patient with me and my million questions. He gave me a lot of great advice to cycle my tank and once the tank was ready I got Glow tetras. He also told me which species were best to keep together and how to keep my tank healthy. My tetras are full of life and thriving in the new tank!!! The tetras I got here are so active and full of colors, not like the poor babies I have gotten before in the big stores that are usually neglected. I can’t wait to get more colors once the tank is ready for more fishies. The other fish in the store were beautiful and well taken care off as well. They even had babies and fish only have babies if they are very healthy and happy! When I was there he was also helping a client with his sick fish which it was also very kind.

In the past i have had good experiences but this store is VERY Inconsistent. Quarantine your fish before adding them to your tank if you buy from here. I bought a 100$ discus fish, it has the velvet parasite and is wiping out my tank. The man should not have been selling any of the discus fish he had. They are all sick and i am devastated

I cannot say enough good things about this store or the owner. Absolutely amazing assortment of Goldfish. I just bought a handsome oranda and a short tail ranchu. The owner took the time to answer all my questions. Sheldon takes pride in his business and I'm so happy I drove over an hour to go see his beautiful store and fish. If you love goldfish, whether you collect for show or just pleasure this is the store to visit. You're certain to find a fish that you'll want to take home.

One of the best in the business. Took so many calls with questions over an in-fish cycle we were doing. tested our water, put our fish in a medicated tank and made him all better with time.Absolutely the most passionate and thorough in the hobby. Thanks to him we house two healthy ranchu goldfish.

Specialty is goldfish and discus here. He has very high quality fish of both categories, and very much cares about helping you keep the fish alive/healthy. I am very happy with the service I've received here and the stunning discus I bought as well!

This is a great little shop! People are complaining about the fish care, but it's better than most stores. The owner seems to know what he's talking about as well. Very nice selection of goldfish, koi, flower horns, parrot cichlids and other cichlids as well as arrowanas and a ridiculous selection of angelfish as well as a nice selection of high quality guppies. I bought a guppy to add to my group of five. Hes prettier than the ones I got from PetSmart. Dude working there was really nice as well.PS: Betta care was iffy, kinda comparable to PetSmart.

The interior of Quincy Aquarium is not picturesque, but don't let that deter you! The owner is very friendly and the selection of goldfish surpasses any other physical store I've been to in Eastern Mass. The stock can fluctuate - likely due to post pandemic shipping issues - but when it's good, it's great!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this shop and owner!! He's wicked friendly and knowledge very helpful. Goes out of his way to take care of you. This place always has unique aquatic species. This is like my main local fish store. I'm so glad that I found it. After going here I told my sister about it and found out she's been going here too for years!! Good job Sheldon keep it up!

This used to be a great aquatic store. I went recently and was extremely disappointed in the conditions these poor fish were subjected to. Tanks were filthy with some dead fish here & there. The Koi were very overcrowded, especially the grown group. They looked stacked up rather than free swimming.The owner is very nice & knowledgeable and they were cleaning tanks while I was there but it needs an overhaul.There's an amazing selection of Goldfish, Arowana of all different sizes and Koi fish.I'll return again in a few months and alter my review whether it be for the better or worse.

I normally don't write reviews, but please do not go here. I read the reviews and thought it wouldn't be that bad, but I literally saw 4 dead fish while walking through the store. The fish did not seem to be taken care of very well. Don't waste your time.

Just bought a few African Cichlids. The owner was very knowledgeable about them and helped me better understand basic info as they were a present. Since first buying them, I have bought my own and am learning more. Great shop with large selection. Doesn’t try to push things you don’t need either. Very honest.

by far one of the best shops around. I will not go to big box stores anymore. we are trying to support the local. businesses. We stopped in a month ago. The owner Sheldon . answered every question we had. Pick the fish we wanted. "out of a huge school of fish. 2 weeks ago. i had a water problem. even thought he was closing. He said he would wait for me. to get my water sample .he waited. he didn't have to he helped us to get a better heater for the tank.customer service is top notch. as we were leaving he said to us. if your in the area..... Stop in to say hello. you don't have to buy any fish. right there was the moment i found our new fish store!!

When I went there, someone who didn't know how to take care of the store was sitting in for the owner. When I bought something, they had to send a picture to someone and they told them the price was $18. I paid it but thought it was odd because it was just a small bottle of fish food. Did some researching and found that Amazon sold them for $5. I went back to the store, knowing it was a mistake and the owner immediately knew what happened and said that he thought it was the bigger bottle, but the one I wanted was still $9, so he gave $9 back to me. Good thing I lived close.

I visited this shop for the first time recently and absolutely loved it. They had a great selection of hard to find cichlids, lots of beautiful discus, and an amazing selection of unique goldfish. The customer service was great, they are very knowledgable, and you can tell they love their fish. I will definitely be purchasing more fish and supplies from here.

As a former owner of a tropical fish store, I could tell the owner directly imported his outstanding goldfish selection. While that's the primary focus, if you are looking for some unusual specialty fish, you won't go wrong. The imported discus from Vietnam will knock you on the floor. After a bit of chat the owner realized he used to shop in my store as a high school kid. That was fun chatting. He is highly knowledgeable and has had and loved fish for years. You won't go wrong.

I just purchased a few beautiful blue diamond Discus fish. It's a lovely place with a variety of tropical fishes and corals! I spent half an hour there watching the beautiful fishes! The staff is really nice and willing to help. Definitely will go back there!

Lovely place. Literally a hole in the wall, but the staff is very kind, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about his fishes. The bettas looked well kept, not as stressed out and tattered comparing to bettas in petco/petsmart - would definitely recommend.

Aaah, man. I dont usually like to write bad reviews, but for the sake of animals lives i feel inclined. The majority of tanks are overstocked, which can sometimes be overlooked with clean tanks. I was able to do that until i got to the back. There were atleast a dozen koi over a foot long in what i can only guess to be a 8'×2'×2' tank with partial dividers in there at that. It just hurt my soul. The older man that runs the place was atleast jovial.
