I had a custom harness made for me at Puppy Play Ptown in April. I am going back to get the rest of it fitted/created in a few weeks. the product is carefully constructed to fit my body in all the brilliant colors I could want to choose from. I am blown away by the owner Eric's, warm, welcoming energy, his professionalism, and the time it took to create the custom harness! I felt safe and comfortable and by the end of the appointment-- fabulous! Such a fun find! We stopped in and had great conversation with the owner as he made a custom leash for our little pup. The customization and being able to watch the process was so unique. We had been searching for leash with a specific length and at Puppy Play we were able to customize the length, the colors, and now we have something special! The vegan leather material will be so practical at the beach and look sharp even as it gets lots of use. Thank you!

The guys made me a custom fit belt to suit my size right on the spot.. Measured to Fit!!Easy as one , two , three! My souvenir for everyday use!! Bonus gifted was a “Bad Bitch” dog tag !! Hilarious and appreciative. Get a leash for your pup and suspenders for yourself! Happy travels!!

Me, my boyfriend, and my friends had the absolute pleasure of meeting Eric in his storefront completely by chance. I was immediately drawn to the cheekiness of the business name and sign. True to the spirit, Eric was there for both human pups and actual pups. While we were deciding on purchasing, we got to watch him also fit a dog for their own harness and it was a very lovely experience. Loved the experience and will definitely be back next time I’m in PTown. And the collars I got from him are fantastic - soft vegan leather that fits perfectly. Awruff! Thank you, Eric! :)

Eric was wonderful to work with. I only had a vague idea of what I wanted but he helped me figure it out and was super friendly. He was able to finish it the same day, saved the last part of it for when I could be there to make sure the fit was perfect, and I just couldn't be happier with the piece. Located on the first floor of Whaler’s Wharf, I found this store by happenstance. I was curious as this store offers harnesses for both human and puppies. I decided to go in and bother the cute boy inside..The store owner, Erik was super friendly and told me that they can create any type of harness for you and your puppy alike! I told him with my pup (dog) that I really enjoyed the K-9 Training/European type leads because they have the ability to wrap around your body for hands free walking. Erik walked me through how we can create my dream dog lead - including all the length, bolt, rings, and color options. After some discussions, we decided on a crossbody body harness with a buckle at the bottom to hook a dog lead to, and a top O ring for an S&M moment. Erik even considered moving the top O ring abit lower, below my collarbone, so it would sit perfectly on my chest without hurting me when my pup pulls...It was really cool because it truly felt like a collaboration. I walked away with a custom built piece that is perfectly molded for my body. We need more Atelier stores where you can walk in, chat with the store owner, build a prototype, try on a few fittings.. and within 30 minutes, you will have a custom piece no one else will have. Puppy Play will go above and beyond to help create any of your harness fantasies you may have to life :)

What a fun experience! My boyfriend and I had a delightful time with Eric (and his dog Goose!) playing with colors to make our custom harnesses. I love my “pink lemonade” (as we decided to call it) made with bright yellow and hot pink that definitely got a lot of compliments out and about in ptown (boyfriend’s two-tone green harness is also very cute). Eric has a knack for working with clients to find colors and a design that’s going to make them feel great and sexy and proud. A fabulous and fun addition to Provincetown!

Biothane is a nice material, durable, fun and easy to work with, and it's amazing to watch how Eric works with his tools to make your custom design come together right in front of you.

We stopped in over Opening Weekend with our pup, Penny! She was loving the environment and picked out the cutest custom leash and collar. The colors were all so beautiful, it was hard to just pick 1! So we ended up getting a two tone leash (dark purple and light purple) and matching collar. The quality of the vegan leather is perfection, and the owners were so kind! Highly recommend stopping in with you pup next time in PTown! Also, the prices are so reasonable, I can’t wait to visit and get another leash, maybe even a harness next time!

My experience at Puppy Play Ptown was sensational. It's always fun to experience a custom piece being made right in front of your eyes, and owner Eric made the process fun, informative, and even interactive. The options and combos are limitless and the quality is very high. The only downside is having to choose between all the fantastic colors! I can definitely see this being a great spot to get gifts for my friends and their pets, so I will most certainly be going back soon.

We bought a Puppy Play leash for our 22-pound terrier when Eric was selling them at a stall during the holiday fair in Provincetown this past December, five months ago. It’s the ONLY leash we’ve used between then and now, at least three times a day, during the worst of winter in a beach town where salt water destroys everything. It looks exactly like it did when we bought it. The colors are as vibrant, there’s no rust on the grommets, and the leash hasn’t stretched or warped. We’ve never owned such a durable beautiful leash. Now that the store is opening in town, we’ll be buying leashes for our off-Cape dog pals. I’m a veterinarian, so I’ve seen lots of leashes (not just those for our dogs), and I highly recommend Puppy Play and look forward to seeing how they expand their product line for pets and humans :)
