I first went to The Right Paw in 2021 for a weekend workshop and trial where I was immediately impressed by the professionalism of Jen, her facility and the entire TRP team. A real stand out in the dog industry!Since then I have participated in a virtual mentorship program with Jen to learn to improve my own business practices as a professional dog trainer. It is one thing to be good at training dogs, it is another to understand how to create the external structures and procedures necessary to best aid your clients in a sustainable and consistent manner. We've now taken two 6-week classes here. We love it! The classes have helped us tremendously with our puppy. We are constantly complimented on his good behavior and listening skills and we owe that to The Right Paw! Jill goes above and beyond to help her clients. She always makes sure to check in and ask if any new problems have come up and offers proper and helpful suggestions to address them. She's also supportive via email throughout the week between classes. We are forever grateful!

From finding the right dog to making her a great pet, Jen Banks of Banks K-9 Solutions has helped us the whole way.We had a 2 year old at the time that we got Emery, along with 4 other children, and we wanted to make sure that we were getting a dog that would not snap when the 2 year old tries to climb on her back or the 5 year old hugs and kisses her a little too hard. We wanted a dog that would add joy to our lives and not heartache. All I can say is that with Jen's help, our dog is more like a babysitter for the children than being like another child herself. I’ve been participating in Jen Humphrey’s Train the Trainer program through The Right Paw for the last several months.I own a dog training business myself, but knew that I had much more to learn in order to adequately service my human clients and their dogs.The experience I’ve had at The Right Paw has been the most comprehensive and immersive educational experience I’ve ever participated in.Jen is the best human and dog teacher I’ve ever met. I’ve watched her patiently and confidently coach a variety of dog/human teams through a myriad of issues, skill building, problem solving, and advanced techniques with success and efficiency. Her aptitude to be flexible with different learning styles of both human and dogs is something to be admired and ensures a training experience like none other I’ve encountered.During this program, I’ve been able to succeed both in my business and training practices in ways I couldn’t imagine before learning under Jen. Wow!! We rescued a very hyper puppy around 1.5 yrs old and I honestly had little hope of training her. She would turn and bite my hand if I didn’t let her do something and was very stubborn, did NOT like being told what to do. Jen immediately dove in and in 3 classes I was walking her by my side with no pulling which I never thought would be possible. She gave me the tools I needed to help my puppy listen and create a safer and happier environment for us both. Highly recommend training here!!

We rescued a Pitbull just around this time last year and was struggling with strong reactivity to almost anything outdoors, people, lawn mowers, bikes, dogs, cars, etc. and it was a pain to walk him or have people over since we weren’t sure of how would react to them. We called around a few trainers that was recommended to us and Jen was the only one that took the time to learn more about brownies behaviors and reactions instead of just going over training packages and price. She first got to know brownie (our dog) and set the expectation of what could benefit him in training and that’s how I knew Jen was going to be a great fit for us. He is also not very food motivated at all, so we knew we needed someone who could help us train him without giving treats. We have since finished our 1:1 lessons with Jen and am amazed at the progress brownie has made. He now walks through busy neighborhoods with no reactivity to people, cars or lawn mowers and is calm when people are talking to us on the street (which before was a huge no no for brownie). He was so eager to learn and I am glad we chose Jen as our trainer as she was so understanding of his needs and behaviors and was able to teach us how to help him get over a lot of his anxiety driven reactivity. 10000/10 recommend this facility for training.

We highly recommend Jen for dog training. She was professional and friendly. She is highly knowledgeable and skilled at her job. Jen had an answer for all of our dog training "problems." Her schedule was also very flexible and accommodating. She was always easy to reach if we had concerns that came up when we were not in a training session with her. We saw huge improvements in our puppy's behavior after just ONE session with Jen. No exaggeration. In our opinion, there's no one better than Jen. Our dog, Lyla, is so well behaved thanks to what Jen was able to teach us.

Jen was absolutely AWESOME! She is a real pro trainer and completely gave us our confidence back with our dog! We got our "Pittie mix" from a rescue some years ago and have worked really hard over the years getting her to a point where she trusted us, people in general and other animals. She has a very sweet nature but her anxiety issues have been a challenge. Recently she went through a traumatic event and suffered a lot of setback. I was very depressed about it all and wanted to give up. The lady whom we got our "girl" from had Jen recommended to her and we set it up to have her come. She gave us the tools to get our "Aggie girl" back! Jen is worth every penny you will spend! She is personable yet professional. Jen is a great trainer. Did a great job training our rescue dog who was anxious around other dogs and new people.On our walks he would pull on his leash and go nuts if we saw a dog. We took him hiking recently and he walked by a out 30 dogs without issue. On our walks he now walks beside me with no pulling.Jen was very professional and had great suggestions. I would highly recommend her services.

Jen was so wonderful to work with and I can't thank her enough or say how grateful I am to have worked with her. Dealing with our dog was so challenging for too long. His reactive behavior and "I'm the boss" attitude made it hard to take him anywhere or have people over. We always had to have an eagle eye on him every second of every day. We tried many things that we hoped would help, but nothing worked and things continued to feel out of control. After working with Jen through in-home lessons, our dog has learned to be quiet, less reactive, listen better, and be more independent. He looks more secure and we are all much happier. I knew after talking to Jen initially, that working with her would be the final step and I would no longer need to look into things that would help. She is intelligent, talented, and a wonderful teacher. We never felt uncomfortable or nervous working things out or asking questions and after each session felt so impressed with what we learned and how quickly we saw progress. I highly recommend The Right Paw for dog training. I started classes with my rescue puppy when she was 4 months old. We have been through Puppy Kindergarten, Grammar School, High School and we are now working on our Canine Good Citizen class. My dog gets excited every time she realizes we are going to class. Stephanie has been our trainer in every class and she is fantastic! Not only is she knowledgeable and great with the dogs, she keeps class fun for all of us. We have learned so much during our time at The Right Paw and often get compliments on how well my dog is behaved.

Love this place! I’m a veterinary student who adopted a puppy (best and worst idea, I know) and wanted a training facility that could help us prepare him for getting his Canine Good Citizen cert. When our sweet dog suddenly became protective of us and our house by growling and snapping at people and dogs, we knew we needed to manage the behavior immediately. We tried some training at other places, but just weren’t seeing a difference. We signed up for Jen’s in home training and couldn’t be happier! Her knowledge and expertise was extremely helpful. We learned many tips and tricks as well as started remote collar training and have noticed a huge difference. We can now keep our pup in “place” on his bed while we have friends and family over and he remains there calmly while he gets adjusted to the people in his environment. We are finally making progress with managing these behaviors and couldn’t have done it without Jen!

I highly recommend training with Kim Brewer at The Right Paw. Kim trained my dog, Charlotte. But not only did she train Charlotte she also assisted me with making sure that I followed through with the training at home. Dogs are just like kids, give them an inch and they will take a mile. Kim was very patient with Charlotte and I was amazed at how quickly Charlotte was able to respond. Charlotte is not overly friendly to people and it takes a long time for her to warm up to a person. But she was able to warm up to Kim pretty quickly. Give Kim a call and make an appointment to talk with her. You won't be disappointed.

Jen is the best! Our dog Bailey was so terrified of people that she would pace and bark until the person was gone. It could be hours of this. She would also shake and not eat anything with people around. We did 8 sessions with Jen and Bailey now can be around people and be okay with them. Jen also gave us the tools we need to continue her training in the future. Bailey now listens better and I can take her on walks without her trying to chase cars and she knows to come when we call her. All around, this training helped our dog and helped us know how to help her now, for her life, and for future dogs.

Jen was great to work with. We have 4 Yorkies and they would get into their pack mentality when anyone came over. The barking was ridiculous. After the first “Household Manners” session it stopped. We were amazed. The humans in the house became the Alphas again. We have our friends visiting now from the UK and the pups have been on their best behavior. Thanks again, Jen for giving us back our sanity but most of all giving us well behaved dogs.

Beware. I had a horrible 10 day experience trying to sign up my pup. I had to literally beg these people to take my business regarding my 10 week old puppy. No one ever answers the telephone during business hours and after I left several messages, they eventually called black days later. After finally speaking with someone, it seemed like I was inconveniencing her and she directed me towards the website in order to sign up and complete the registration process. However, the website isn’t user-friendly at all and after I submitted my credit card information no confirmation was ever sent to my email nor was my bank ever notified so therefore, the transaction never went through. I asked if I could pay through the phone or visit in person and still no reply!! This game of phone tag and going back-and-forth is very much a nuisance and also, I can’t understand why such a reputable company as this cannot give me the proper help.

Today I gave a low rating due to safety concerns. This location during other visits would leave a lane open for safe distancing purposes. This evening they began placing other people on lanes together. I did speak with the attendant and his reply was if we get busy they place people on lanes next to each other. During my session a party of three was placed on the lane next to me. I left early due to safety concerns.
