As a former employee it is disheartening to see how mediocrity has become the acceptable standard of excellence, in the so-called kitchen. The kitchen manager is a disrespectful, arrogant man. He does not like seniors working in what he calls his kitchen. He goes out of his way to deny hours to those who he sees as a threat to expose his poor example of leadership. The General Manager of the Plymouth store is an exceptional man with awesome leadership skills however I believe his hands are tied by higher management preventing him from repairing the damage done!

Best grocery price around. Plenty to choose from pizza, subs and Chinese food. Coffee shop. Very crowded 7 days a week. They stock shelves all days and can get in the way. You can a lot of money here...$25 to $100.+

Easily, by far, the best grocery store (non gourmet) I've ever seen. No lie, 20-30% cheaper than Stop n Shop, twice the selection as Stop n Shop, and super friendly and attentive employees. My only issue is that the Market Basket bakery section's baked goods aren't nearly as good as they could be. I just moved across the country from California and the grocery stores out there aren't half the grocery store that Market Basket is. I am now a Market Basket customer!

Edited: 2/2/24. Still applies. Plus the shelf stockers pay zero attention to anyone around them.The baggers here are not trained well at all. I've talked to supervisors and called the store before but no one seems to do anything about.it.I highly recommend people start requesting to bag themselves.

This is my favorite grocery store in my hometown, I'm glad there was one here in Plymouth within 10miles of our Campground. They have all the food stuffs you need for a great camping trip. There prices are fair and I like their meat dept and they always have the freshest produce. They have a Cafe inside and a Sushi Dept, and a great Bakery.

The Market Basket in Plymouth is one of the most hectic places I have been. It was crazy busy on a Thursday mid-morning. The staff working there was very busy stacking the shelves, gathering carts in the parking lot, and helping customers. They were polite and courteous when asked questions from customers. For such a busy store, we were impressed to find everything in stock that we needed.

I like this grocery store, but I don't get the hype....They have a real following, like groupies with a Rock & Roll band. Came back for a quick bite to eat, food was cooked just right and the staff was friendly.

A great place to shop decent prices compared to other groups stores around me. Add road's brothers to up next 1010 times more than you do at market basket. It's kind of ridiculous. That's why I shot pair all the time and plus when I was growing up we shopped here also. At the one in rain him.

Very good prices. The clerks in the store are extremely helpful in finding what aisle which produces are in. Their fresh meat is a much better quality than I expected at the low prices they have. In grocery, they have a very broad selection with an exceptional large selection of sizes.The only negative, is that they seem to be busy all the time, however check out lines move quickly.

Great prices BUT management needs to fix the front wing food prep service. Use to be quick. Now everyone that just wants something quick has to wait for sandwiches and other meals to be made. Ridiculous lines now. Very poorly thought out.

This is the only grocery store I will shop at. The prices are decent. More expensive than they used to be. But it makes sense because of the times we're living in. And, despite all the shortages these days, MB still has everything I am looking for. Their prepared food is so good. They have the best pizza at the best price. It's huge! It is always so packed in there. I try to go in the early morning, or later in the evening.

1st time here since I moved to area. Masks are personal choice. Plenty of parking, food choices are good, watch the sale days =super busy,so I will be back on a different day for future. Great place for having a job, plenty of cashiers. Store is huge, but very clean, well stocked, aisleswide but packed, so if not familiar with store plan on looking at everything. Prices are super reasonable. Lots of fresh sections of food both hot & cold. Close to rtes 58,44,80.Highly recommend 👌 👍.

2 stars for the workers who stock the open dairy shelves. They are as graceful as Iron workers walking across steel I beams all day. However I don't believe it's sanitary to be standing with their shoes inches from where we grab our yogurt and butter ect

I only took one star for parking because it is always busy and another star because one day last week it took me about 30min to find a employee that actually could help me find something on the floor and not look at me like I have a million heads not to mention no one speaks English anymore other than that I like the prices here for a majority of My grocery shopping.

Always clean and very good customer service. If I ask a question and they don't know English, they'll hurry to get someone else to help. Never a hassle, I arrive at 7am and save a ton, no lines at that time!

Went early on a Friday and was in and out in no time, plenty of cashiers and everything I needed was in stock...I usually go to shaws but between the prices/deals and fast checkout I will definitely be back

Love Market Basket. We are big fans of the bakery. Fresh cannolis and ricotta squares daily. We always have them in our fridge.
