Unfortunately, this is the only pharmacy near my house. The staff is friendly, but maybe poorly trained. The pharmacy takes forever for "expedited" prescriptions, and they will have 5 orders and fill maybe 2. They also are constantly out of medications and when they say they're ordering them and they'll be there in a day or two, expect a 2 week delay. I know most of the staff and how hard they work, but there's always one incompetent mixed in which throws everything off.** 9/21/23- as for the front store, they have improved 1000%. There used to be like 2 clerks that had any manners or knowledge of the store st all. Then they hired ones with no personality. But now we with new management they've got at least 5 competent people with both knowledge and personality. The staff I doesnt always have the most pleasant attitude, but honestly, they know where products are ĺòcatedd can complete transactions without calling a manager (all except 1) which counts for a lot. The new manager is great b as nd moving in the right direction, hope he sticks around.

Pharmacy is horrible with wait times , expedited medications take 25-40 mins wait time . One of the pharmacist’s is the rudest person I have ever met, very disrespectful and sarcastic! As soon. As I get a new car I’m changing to the 24 hour cvs or something. The rest of the staff is ok , and the front of the store is ✅! Oh yea when the get busy they just shut the phones 📞 off.

Not good. Employees seem nice, just seems poorly run? Pharmacy drive through takes unbelievably long. The pharmacy takes lunch at the same time instead of scattering them like every other business ever, so it just shuts down for a bit. Switching to a different, further CVS so I can get my prescriptions before I die.

Don’t waste your time. Read all prior reviews that have the same sentiment. The worst CVS I’ve ever been to in all aspects. They NEVER pick up the phone at the pharmacy, not sure how corporate allows that, the drive thru prescription window is a waste of your time if you aren’t the first car, takes 20 min a car easy. Employees mainly unhelpful but worst of all no one cares. There is no urgency to move people along at the front or RX pickup, just keep going to the other state road location or go to north Plymouth location on pilgrim road.

This place it is absolutely 5 stars, them can make you feel as a nothing but at the same time you express your feelings, then can turn the table and make you feel like a king, (of a kindling on your own imagination). If it is both enough been ridiculous in front everyone, them have to step on top of our head . I’m been quietly for several times for the disrespect receive at cvs, but as don’t have much option close by, it is the only place I can go to buy whatever I need, and people treat me as a shoplifter? I don’t stealing from nowhere, my mom gave a wonderful education for me trow away all the good values I carry with me. But the silence was hurting to the point I develop a pain on my stomach, no more, not with me. If the associates doesn’t have a drop of respect for who help to pay for them salary I don’t know what them are doing there, just remember, my money also helps to pay them salary on the end the week!

I've lived in plymouth for almost a year now, and when I first moved to plymouth, I started going to this cvs and liked them. But for weeks, I've been trying to have them refill a prescription of mine, and they still haven't. And I've been calling them to see if they are, and they say they have to contact my doctor, and they will, but they still haven't after weeks. I'm switching pharmacys. I don't recommend going to this cvs

I moved to Plymouth in July of 2021 with my fiancé and have always had amazing experiences at this store and pharmacy. I work in healthcare and understand first hand that this post Covid world we are in is very different, there are so many issues out of our hands. Recently, my family has had to deal with the medication shortage that is occurring nationwide. Alana and her pharmacy team have been extremely helpful and supportive throughout our journey to find a new medication (with the help of our primary care) and have gone above and beyond for us. They are knowledgeable and compassionate, and have worked with us throughout this difficult time, while we have a newborn at home. I sincerely appreciate their dedication to their customers and service. All of the staff at this location are friendly, engaging, and attentive. I commend this store and will be a loyal customer as long as I live in Plymouth.

Every. Friggin. Month with these people I experience a new level of incompetency and absolutely zero communication. I get the same Rx every month and WITHOUT FAIL, I'm doing their job on my own behalf: they'll tell me it's being refilled and then when it's time to pick it up, I'm told it isn't in stock OR the Rx expired (it didn't), but it isn't like they actually make the miniscule effort to tell me either via phone or text, but wait until I frustratingly have to call them! I'm done dealing with these people.

I feel bad for folks that need the convenience of a pharmacy nearby and have to deal with the misery of this CVS. The only saving grace was that you could have your prescriptions mailed to you for free, but now they charge $4.99. If you're stuck going here, be prepared for long lines and miserable associates treating you like you're inconveniencing their day.

This is by far the worst CVS I've ever gone to. Any time I need to call the pharmacy to discuss meds or issues it's no less than 45 minutes on hold, and half of the time, when I finally reach them they end up hanging up on me after putting me on hold again. I was on hold for 2 hours earlier. This is the case no matter what time of day or how busy they are. My significant other and friends in the area express the same issues. Most of them have switched pharmacies and I am going to do the same. I'm contacting CVS corporate after this to make them aware of the poor service this pharmacy provides

On hold for the pharmacy for two hours today, that is ludicrous.Would not recommend this CVS for any pharmacy needs. the past three years they have gone way downhill in service, response time, customer care and just kindness. Stay far away from this store. You will thank me. So, I switched two years ago to a different pharmacy after I wrote this review, because torturing myself every month became too much to bear. I am so thankful I do not have to deal with this place any more. But I keep hearing that they are still not up to par on pharmacy , wait times, phone times, and fill times.

After 20 years of using this pharmacy, I will no longer be doing so. After just picking up a prescription two weeks ago, they have the gall to say I am no longer in their system and despite getting called saying my other prescription is ready, they told me they had nothing. On top of that, I have been on hold trying to rectify this situation for over 25 minutes with a message about vaccines which I believe is a tactic to avoid talking to disgruntled customers. Understaffed is not an excuse to not even pick up the phone for a quick courtesy hello we know you’re here. It is appalling.

My husband had a terrible experience at the State Rd Plymouth CVS pharmacy. We understand that you are short staffed but that is no reason for rudeness and disrespect! The elderly gentleman in front of my husband was waiting and could not understand the delay and was told “ the more you complain, the longer you will have to wait”! Another gentleman had been back 4 days in a row for his prescription! My husband received info that his prescription would be ready at 2:15 on Friday and when he arrived yesterday afternoon it was still needing to be processed. It was not so much the delay but the rudeness of the technician.We love the rewards and the front end staff but I’m afraid we will not return to the pharmacy at this location.Ellen Johnson

Terrible customer service. Prescriptions are never ready when they are supposed to be. There is always a huge line. I waited in the drive thru and when I pulled up they closed the window on me and refused to help. I went in the store and there were about 5 employees and they refused to help me because they are "closed from 130-2pm". Extremely rude.

This review is about the pharmacy. Absolutely the worst customer service. They always have an excuse why things are not ready. Most of the associates are rude. I won't go to the inside counter because you are purposely ignored. Ten plus people working and not one makes eye contact with the line. I've stuck with them because their location is convenient for me but frankly I cannot take it any longer.

Overall the pharmacy is good. They are understaffed often but the staff are friendly and most of the time fill prescriptions in a timely manner. They are good about answering any calls and have addressing any questions. Their front of the store staff have changed within the past few months and I find them to be more customer friendly now.

This is the absolute worst pharmacy. Their Customer Service skills are non existent. They speak over you when you are trying to convey the issue you are having. There is no consistency with whoever you speak with. They charge the wrong insurance (which was never given to them). One person tells you they can order the RX to have there the next day, only to be told by the next person you speak with to check the status, that no one has it within 20 miles and tell you that you the customer, now have to search other pharmacies as there is nothing they can do to help. Then when you go to another pharmacy, this CVS had the audacity to put a claim through even though they just told you they didn't have it on the shelf, or within 20 miles ~ so the next pharmacy to process it, got denied as refill to soon.Ask for a Manager, placed on hold for 3 minutes (after being on hold a total of 10 minutes in the two calls prior to get to the bottom), only to be told by the next person, the Mgr is on vacation.So much for putting customers first.#doyourselfafavorfindacustomerfocusedpharmacyinstead

Cvs has always been my trusted pharmacy.This specific branch has always gone above and beyond to help any needs to and from doctors with little to no hassle.Thank you for making my life a little bit easier. If I've ever had to wait,there has been good reason and they expedite quickly and always do the right thing.Thank you staff at CVS.

I have never posted one review, good or bad, about any business in my life. I cannot take it anymore with this place. I have to say something. I cannot get anyone on the phone (waited on hold for the pharmacy for 2+ hours today). The staff at the pharmacy almost never fills my order correctly, and I’ve been going here for 9 years. And they are not pleasant at all - sometimes downright rude. CVS corporate needs to review their staffing and procedures. Horrible management.

CVS notified me via text requesting more information to complete a prescription. On two occasions, trying to supply needed info, I was on hold for in excess of an hour, never to have my call answered. I ask, is this any way to run a business? I understand being understaffed, but this experience is totally unacceptable. NEVER again will I use the CVS at 517 State Road in Plymouth, Ma. An added note, I tried to provide information requested online, with no confirmation of receipt.I would have given NO stars, but review would not be accepted.

I was told they are 14 days behind in filling prescriptions. I understand that they are shortstaffed, but they cannot be reached by phone and when you speak to someone at the drive-through and they tell you your prescriptions will be filled in two hours and five days later they still haven't been filled it's frustrating.

It literally takes 15-20 minutes EVERY-TIME you need to pick up a prescription! No one answers the phone if you call….worst pharmacy EVER!!! They really need to get it together- drive through pharmacy should be drive thru, not parking lot!

They have what we need, at reasonable prices, and are always professional & pleasant. Store is well stocked, and they do offer some healthier options for drinks & snacks. Our neighborhood go-to store. Also, although noticeably short-staffed, their Pharmacy is always helpful, timely & fantastic at handling the constant heavy flow of customers. I really appreciate the professional ladies in the pharmacy.

Self checkout is now apparently mandatory. Sorry I don't work for CVS nor do I need training on your registers. Unless of course your employees want to come to my place of employment and do my work. You will be opening a register for me every time I come in...even for gum. Update: CVS management has still not contacted me on this despite saying they would in 24hrs.

Frustrating experience in the recent past. Pharmacy gave inaccurate info regarding the pneumonia vaccine, didn't have it in stock anyway (after making an online appointment and being told that the online system can't see actual inventory for a specific store). Rude woman behind pharmacy counter said I could come back and speak to the pharmacist....who would be back in two hours! Told her this visit had already cost me 30 minutes of back and forth driving, to which she replied "we're all inconvenienced these days." Wait times on hold to speak to the pharmacy are ridiculously long. Complaining to corporate office got a typical "we understand your frustration" and "we'll look into it" reply. Never heard back. I would avoid this location if at all possible.

I wish I could give negative stars.“Understaffed” is not true at all. Tried to call 3 times, each time on hold for 30-45 minutes before just hanging up. I get there and there’s so many people behind that counter…They NEVER tell me when they run out of medication. They send me on a wild goose chase every time I need this script.Absolutely horrible.

Melissa is so helpful! I was having difficulty with ins info. I spoke to multiple CVS rep's as well as my own ins co, who tried but were unable to fix my issue. I spoke with Melissa who I feel went above and beyond and was able to rectify my issue in a very timely manner. I am very happy with the service at this location!

I have tried calling this CVS pharmacy for 12 days straight to see if my sleeping meds are in stock at this location. No matter what time of day I call or how long I stay on hold for (which is always greater than 45 mins), NO ONE ANSWERS!! I just don’t understand why they even have an option to call the pharmacy if no one ever picks up!!
