I found toothbrush heads a six pack of oral b the tag said new product 4.29. when the cashier run me off with a $15 hair dye it came to $50 so I pointed out that the toothbrush heads said $4.29 the gentleman who was bagging the groceries name tag Jacob walked with me to see for himself and tell the cashier that the tag was marked as I said when the cashier asked for assistance I am assuming it was the manager she came over and was in my opinion disrespectful to the cashier and the gentleman bagging my groceries over the whole situation even though I pointed out to her it was not their fault obviously she was upset because she had to put in a $30 coupon and said she would get in trouble even though Jacob and the cashier were extremely helpful and polite I felt she was very rude to them and me and very unprofessional for expressing her feelings very blatantly long story short Jacob ended up offering me $0.29 that I was short on instead of me running out to the car and holding up the line I wanted to make a point to tell you he was an amazing employee and really impressed me how polite and sweet he was to help me so I recommend keeping him around and maybe telling whoever the lady was in charge to be a little more professional and lighten up on the employees who were not responsible in any way shape or form for the problem.

Went shopping while on vacation and was not impressed. The store was well stocked but it seemed old and dingy. The bathrooms were not very clean considering it’s a grocery store. Overall the product selection was good but the appearance was less than desirable. I may be jaded by my Florida grocery chain.

There always seems to be an issue with the frozen foods section in the summer. Most cases were above freezing, water was pooling inside the cases. I bought some items from a section that appear to be working fine, only to find out the items had thawed and refrozen with serious freezer burn. Market32 doesn’t have this issue.

Went here to get the Halloween Pillsbury sugar cookies, figured they’d be there cause you know… it’s almost Halloween. Nope. Nothing. But you know what they did have? Christmas Pillsbury sugar cookies. On October 28th. Right above the eggnog so you can wash down the taste of corporate cash grab.I am happy to see that no ones actually buying any of it though.

this place is, and always has been, a great store. it's a comfort to go in and chat with people who've been there for 30 years plus. the store is unpretentious and smaller than those turning themselves into a huge "marketplace". it's easy to find what you want, and the fact that they don't charge for paper bags is a thoughtful touch for those of us who forget our reusable bags from time to time (unlike the competition a short distance away).

Went to buy 8 piece fried chicken dinner on a damp raining afternoon at 4:30. None out so I asked the clerk behind the counter said they were done cooking for the day and not putting anymore out. At 4:30 in the afternoon and completely out?

Out of the three "big" grocery stores in town stop and shop consistently had the best prices, and in my opinion the shortest lines due to having a sufficient number of employees working. And they're always friendly!

Stop & shop is one of the most expensive supermarkets I've been toThier inventory is very large but I'd say thier prices are even larger. Staff aren't very pleasant either,in my experiences anyhow. I would not recommend stop & shop unless u only have a couple things to pick up.

Store is fairly large with an abundance of seasonal things. Prices run from highly competitive to scratch your head and say "what!" It think that their rotisserie chicken is amazing! It may not be my go to store, but when it is convenient, I am there...

The prices are a little high, but they have the best selection of food for people with complicated dietary needs. Gluten free, vegan, allergy friendly... you name it, they have it! The employees are friendly and the cashiers almost always are attentive and friendly. They're not grumpy or on mobile devices like some local stores. If you have any questions, the employees try their best to answer them and the areas like meat, deli, and whatnot have great employees. It's become my new grocery store to shop at for daily needs.

Two years ago I would have given a 5 star review, self checkout was new and well implemented. I'm fully aware the stock issues I've had lately are not the fault of stop and shop, but the scale updates make the self checkout next to unusable. It doesn't prevent theft and it costs their self checkout supervisors as much time as it would have if it was a regular checkout.1) sometimes people get 30 cans of cat food - being forced to individually scan every. Single. Can. And put them away individually costs a ton of time, and the scanners never catch it the first time2) the scale gets confused and requires someone to come help on average 3 times a visit, I've seen people give up and ask the supervisor to just do it for them3) some things aren't practical to put on the staging area, E.g. 36 packs of paper towels. It should be possible to scan some things and put them right back on the cart.No-one, staff customer or company, has benefitted from this change. These days I go to regular checkout half the time because I just don't want to deal with it.

Came in to do some light shopping today and Heather at the register was so amazing helping the people in front of me. Her customer service is amazing and she is very charismatic. You need more people like her working the registers!!!! The teenagers are always a little bit standoffish.

You have to wait in line to scan your own purchases. And it is getting worse. There is only one or 2 manned checkouts. They took away bags, forced us to do our own scanning, which takes twice as long. No discount for doing their work for them. Only 4 self checking machines. One is always broken. And you have to check their veggies and fruit very carefully, because they are often rotten.After this review they asked me to call their 800 number to explain the problem. In other words, more work for me... They must be crazy.

Not a bad place to shop. They have a decent selection of products and many different brands to compare with.. they even have a pharmacy on site. For the most part we'll stocked and clean, however unless you shop sales you can very easily spend an arm and a leg! Staff is extremely polite and very willing to help.. I even had an associate take the time to not just tell me but walked me to the product and even made sure there was nothing else I needed help with.. would strongly suggest to go here just because of the staff. However would also tell you to stay away unless you have a few hundred dollars to spend on food

I needed to return something that had gotten moldy (that purchased from North Adams/Williamstown S&S). They didn't have exact match and gave me a more expensive item at no additional cost! Excellent customer service.The North Adams S&S has one cashier that is just miserable and makes the entire experience dreadful. I go out of my way to avoid this person. Worse, other people, just in conversation not provoked, has mentioned the same person to me. It's shocking that this North Adams store would rather lose customers than correct this person's behavior.

The absolute worst self checkout I have ever used. Began yelling at me, stopped scanning needed assistance. Then I used a card to pay, thought I was done, remembered I forgot my receipt, when the girl yelled to me as I hadn't been approved and needed to reenter my pin. I will stick to regular live cashiers from now on. Thankfully, I rarely shop there, now I know why.
