Employees are very helpful, and they carry Oxbow products, food, and treats which are superior for guinea pigs. I only support this store because it does not sell small animals, as opposed to Pet Supplies Plus and Petco.

Staff is very knowledgeable, there super friendly. I love this store there the only ones who sell blue senior small breed around here. And you can earn a free bag of food. Also they have vets, and nail groomers come on different weekends. Everything for you and your fur babies needs.

We've brought our very young puppy here a few times to pick out toys and get socialization experiences. The staff are very helpful and engaging with the puppy and willing to answer any questions we have. The staff is very knowledgeable and Austan even remembered our puppy's name after a week.The store has consistent prices and a large selection of healthy, natural food and treats. They also have a small clearance area where we find great deals for our pets.

I have to say, I hadn't been there in years. Actually, not since the 2nd year they were open because I was so Unimpressed, and the prices were absurd.I went there today, and the store has so much more. The prices were less than other pet stores in the area. The employees I asked questions to, had a wealth of knowledge. Very happy to have tried again. Will definitely be my go to pet store if they keep the better prices and employees! Thank you!

Searched everywhere for Nutro puppy food and Benson’s was the only one with it. They also have so many great healthy treats/bones for dogs.

I would have been a new customer and went in to shop for a new cat food for my four cats. A woman who was in some sort of supervisor position and a male employee were in a shouting match as I entered the store. She was describing some sort of new policy that he didn't agree with, so they argued, at a shouting volume, during the entire time it took me to locate the cat food section, browse through the options, read the ingredients on several foods, and choose a product I wanted to buy. They were still shouting at each other, the male employee behind the only open cash register, so I left the store without buying anything. I was shocked at how unprofessionally they both behaved, and they lost a new customer in the process. I'll never go back.

Have always loved Bensons but my last experience was not good. Bought bird seed and had it delivered to my car. The whole top of the bag was taped but I was not told that. As I was taking out of car the tape came loose and the backseat of my car and the driveway was covered with seeds so I ended up paying $50 for a quarter bag of seed. They offer to replace but didn’t have any so had to get one from another store. Haven’t heard from them since.

Great store with Awesome Employees that have knowledge of their products. If for any reason they are unsure they research it for us. I think the best part is the way the staff is friendly and comfortable atmosphere, and don't come off as your bothering them or they have better things to do. The company has a great style of making it a warm place. After all we go there several times a month for supplies for our fur babies.

Great pet supply store with reasonable prices and you can bring your dog in with you. I personally couldn't bring my dog because she would eat the treats and food that they have in the store and I'd go broke paying for her to think she's at an "all you can eat buffet".

The staff are so friendly and helpful. They helped me find the right food for my dog and they were very honest, they didn't just try to get me to buy the expensive one. They also have great rewards programs and the employees are patient and friendly and even know some people by name, and the name of their pets. I was having a bad day after visiting my vet and feeling like a bad dog mom for not buying $100 food. The people at Benson's completely turned my day around.

I bought on 3/5/2023 off the clearance rack. 2 Solid Gold cat food topper for $5.75 each. I feed my cats tonight & put some of it on their wet cat food. I happen to look at the bags & they both expired on January 2023. We are now in March and it should've been thrown out. I will be returning these bags for a full refund tomorrow. Anything expired should be thrown out. Not put on the clearance rack.

I went in here for the first time ever and was in a dilemma with a lizard I had acquired from someone else and I'll tell you what, best experience EVER! 20 minutes after I got home with all my new equipment I saw drastic changes in my lizard and she was soo much happier in no time at all! I went in knowing next to nothing and came out feeling much more comfortable! The woman I spoke with gave me so much information and printed some out so I didn't get too overwhelmed as well as sites to visit to gain more knowledge!! I couldn't possibly be happier with my service ☺ Great job Benson's Staff! Keep being amazing!

Great store, knowledgable staff. Bigger discounts on dog food than online and a frequent buyer program so after several purchases you can get a bag free! The ability to earn a free $60 bag of food? Yes, please! Its also one of the few brick and mortar stores we have been able to find our specialty dog food at (and cheapest price)!!! Awesome! A+++

The manager is so kind- and she knows her stuff! Most of the staff is highly knowledgeable as well. They carry good food for your pets, and it is the only place in town that carries my favorite dog food, OpenFarm.

My OES lifted leg leg inside. So embarassing. They were awesome about it. They took extra time to make sure I was getting my dog food rewards and they carried the giant bag of food to my car. Excellent.

The long lost art of customer service can be found here. Not only are the employees polite and welcoming but they are knowledgeable and helpful. Also, unlike many stores of all types today, if you need help or have a question, there are actually employees findable and usually available to help you out.

Several years ago, you donated over $100 in supplies to a Sonsini/Humane Society fund raiser that I did with my students. Your generosity and kindness prompted me to ONLY shop at your store for most pet supplies, ever since. Additionally, your staff is absolutely wonderful. They treat my dogs like a queen and king when I bring them with me. That means sooooo much to me as my dogs are my babies. They are also so helpful when I need assistance. You guys are the best! They're always very friendly and very helpful. Some things are cheaper than online or Petco, and some of their dog food bags offer a buy 12 get 1 free, which helps significantly. They've always offered thorough advice as well.
