I asked for a flat black paint. Turned out to be dark grey and didnt even match the paint swab. Other employees saw the discrepancy. I was willing to try having them add more black but it still doesnt match other black furniture. Manager refused to help and said no refunds even tho it was their fault. DO NOT go to this store if you expect paint expertise or customer service. .Manager

Great helpful staff and has almost anything you might need for quick fix or do it yourself. Little expensive but its conveniently located so that's why they bump it up a dime here, quarter there.. Worst thing is and why no 5 stars is their hours are not customer friendly but owner friendly. Closing at 6 weekdays , 5 on Sat and 2 on Sunday!! I mean if you have a full time job and family you might end up pulling up to a dark store and realize that its awfully early to be closed but keepin a cashier till 9pm ain't gonna happen here but if they did it would I would give them the final🌟

I have been going to this hardware store in Pepperell for over two years. Hands down I prefer to go here rather than Home Depot whenever I can. It doesn’t have the wide selection of everything under the sun that a huge Home Depot has, but the selections they choose to cover are well stocked and the staff are unfailing friendly and helpful.

A couple days back I went in because there was a huge 'Help Wanted' sign out front. Walked in and asked for an application only to be turned around because they 'Just hired someone, and were taking the sign down asap'. Fair enough.I went out and sat in my car and watched the guy that told me that get in his car and drive away. Two days later the sign is still up, even though they have hired someone. Now this isn't a small door sign, it's a big billboard sign elevated to about 25-30 feet in the air - you can't miss it. I can't say anything about the character of those who I spoke with, but as a business it's extremely unprofessional to leave that sign up for multiple days after hiring someone. Not to mention it's 25 feet high. They've lost my business

Knowledgable employees, great place to wander. Originally posted as a 4 star.Event happened about 7 months ago. Employee put in the tint for a quart instead of the gallon I purchased. While applying it I thought the color already on the wall was effecting the shade. When I went for an additional gallon I was told it was the wrong mix to begin with. They offered me nothing in compensation. Upon pressing I got a $10 discount on the new gallon. Was told to take it or leave it. Exact words. Figured I'd straighten it out with the owners after. Knew them, I've been going there weekly for over 30 years. They offered nothing more.Result, I ate most of the price of the bad paint, they made a profit on both the first and 2nd gallon, and over the past 7 months I spent less then $22 total there despite them being a two minute walk from me. During the past 7 months I a major home remodeling in the high 5 figures. And I used to average well over $50 a month just on miscellaneous buys.

We were going to park in the parking lot to watch the parade and the man that works there was very rude to use we asked nicely if we could park there and he snapped back and said I am not putting up the signs for nothing. All he had to do is say no. We were going to be a customer at c and s pizza but maybe now we will not. Such a rude man from the hardware store.

go to Home Depot DO NOT GO HERE!!! doesnt deserve any stars! I walked in for spray paint, wanted to see the color in action, so I asked permission to test it out. man with a goatee said it was ok, tell the cashier too which I did. I tested it out outside, but wasnt satisfied, so I chose another one asked if I could test it he said ok, make sure to tell the cashier (not sure of her name but she was a young blonde) and I told her again. As I was testing the spray, a male employee says hey! u cant do that, how many have u used!? he didnt even allow me to talk (but I am not going to argue pointlessly and cause a scene) You've bought them now!! I will not be back ever again I will get my paint/other home needs at Home Depot. If I was given permission to test, then they have no reason to yell at customers.

Who is closed at 2pm on a Sunday? Someone the doesn't want to make a sale and wants to make locals drove to Nashua for a box of screws. Process are excessive and associates usually preoccupied talking among themselves.
