The standard reaction to people meeting my dog is “oh my gosh she’s so good!” They can’t believe how well behaved she is for a six month old puppy.I could not recommend dog Taoist more highly. Especially if you have a new puppy. The structure of the program actually gives you a break from the endlessness of puppy parenthood which is very helpful. This is not a one hour “learn how to tell your dog to sit and stay” program. This is learning about dog psychology and how to communicate effectively with your dog. It is powerful!Most importantly, above all, is Brad and Ashley‘s obvious warmth toward the animals. They model to you how to be relational, warm and loving, and a leader, all at the same time. There is no fear that your dog is going to military camp and may endure harsh treatment while you are gone. You can watch how they behave with the animals and model yourself after it. They can show you how important it is to become calm rather than escalate in order to be heard. I guess that’s the Taoist part :-)They give you a leg up on setting patterns with your dog, and it is much easier for you to just continue them than to have to establish it all single-handedly- especially if you are working full-time! Best money spent. I would do it again.

Fantastic! We cannot recommend Brad and Ashley enough. They are the very best kind of dog trainers - passionate, caring, thoughtful, and understanding. The moment we brought our dog in for his initial assessment, Brad had him sized up immediately in terms of what the problem was, and what was needed. They worked diligently with him throughout, and made sure that we did the same when he was home. He got a full report card every day after training. Even better, they are flexible and allowed us to pick up/drop off a bit early or late as needed so we could work around our schedules.The results have been astounding. Our family members dubbed it a "miracle" how calm and neutral our formerly crazy dog has become, and we owe it all to Brad and Ashley's persistent efforts. We would recommend them to anyone, unreservedly.

We brought our dogs to Dog Taoist in desperation. They were jumping, biting, literally dragging me across the street chasing other dogs. From the very first meeting, we knew that Brad was there to help us. He truly cared about our dogs and our family. We noticed a change after the first day of training. 3 months later, my dogs are given daily compliments that they are “such good dogs”. Brad trains the dogs and the humans. After our family dog showed increasing aggression, I reached out to Dog Taoist. Their service has completely changed our relationship with our dog. Prior to training at the Dog Taoist, Lou ate every comforter, broke several windows trying to get at dogs passing by, nipped at several people, and though loving with our family, was a nightmare with most other people. After our first session, we saw a major change in our boy. After completing six months of training, we now have a calm guy that can run his zoomies off-leash around our yard, walk comfortably on his leash with us, ignore other animals walking by and listen when we give commands. Training with the dog Taoist has greatly improved our family’s lives as well as Lou’s. I highly recommend them for training, especially if you have a dog that you worry you may have to put down due to aggression. They can help save your furry pal! Brad and Ashley are the best of the best. They train our lab and have trained her since she was a puppy. We are so grateful for their guidance and support in training our dog. If I could give Dog Taoist a million stars I would! The commitment and dedication to our dog, Duke, received while in Brad, Ashley, and their teams care was unmatched. I could feel the love that they had for our duke. Duke has come so far from the over excited and un manageable puppy he was when we started. Brad and Ashley not only worked with Duke but they also spent time with our entire family to teach us about what Dukes needs were and how we could create the environment at home that he needed. He can be happily off leash and I do not need to worry about his recall. I highly recommend Dog Taoist to EVERYONE.They have a large garage like space on their training property where they do circuit training for the pack of dogs they have each day. They also have a fenced in area behind the facility. The owner also has a van where he brings the dogs in training on "field trips" to their home where they can learn in their large yard at home. They also take the dogs for walks to the park which is a short distance from their facility.The pricing for each dog is different and it depends on your dogs need. If you email them before visiting they are prompt to explain their approach and how pricing works. They are very specific about who enters their facility because the dogs inside are focused and working.

I cannot recommend Dog Taoist enough. When I started with Dog Taoist I had a 1 year old dog that I hated walking because of pulling, lunging, jumping, stopping at everything that peaked his interest and not listening. He had no recall at all. Now after working with Brad, Ashley and team, I love walking my dog. He knows now what a walk is, he walks on heel and he has recall that I can bring him out without being on lead all the time and he listens, all because not only does Dog Taoist work with my dog but they helped me learn that there are tools and jobs that dogs need to understand their place and what is expected of them. I have received so many compliments from family and friends on how Bear has grown into such a good boy and that’s because of the Dog Taoist team that have worked with Bear and me to understand what he needs and the actions that I need to take for him to find his confidence in himself and me as his leader. They tailor the training package to your specific dogs needs. They can work with puppies to rescues or aggressive dogs. On their Facebook page it says “Helping humans and their dogs live in harmony.” It is true, their philosophy of dog training works. I highly recommend Dog Taoist to everyone.

An overall great experience ! We saw an improvement just even after Brad spent 2 hours in the assessment meeting! It is obvious that his team truly cares about improving the lives of dogs and their humans. Training takes place with dogs at all levels, as well as, inside and outside to give a real life experience. Training can't be successful in a vacuum. The dogs must learn to be able to live comfortably in all situation. Brad's team brings the dogs to the town field, the sidewalks, the parking lot, to go get the mail etc. All so that they can experience noises from trucks, playing kids screaming, other people, everyday things. They are the best!

Came to ask how much would be training a puppy. Woman came out outside and started blubbering that I cant go inside because they have dogs and no one allowed in. Tried to ask her how much roughly would be to train a puppy , she said that she doesn't have time for explaining and said you need to go online to register. Not professional from trainer point. It's not hard to tell the price and not repeat yourself over and over that we can't come in because we are not the clients.

the guy is supe nice to me and lets me pet his doggies. also mr dog taoist man i am the little girl who met lemonade one time, also he trains them inside and outside. the outside is mostly for training dogs to walk on a leash

No outside area to train at this location in pepperell. . Bummer! Drove by and he was training dogs in a busy parking lot area. Not the ideal place for dog training. Will look elsewhere.
