Dr. Wong is compassionate and straight to the point. He's been our family veterinarian for over 15 years. The office is cozy with an extremely nice and efficient staff. Heidi is always seen right away, and Dr Wong takes the time to listen to me and answer all my questions.

We love Paxton Animal Hospital, where we brought our wonderful dog Trixie, since 2017. Dr. Wang helped her age safely and comfortably! She benefited from Cold Laser treatment and resolved a long standing health issue from this amazing treatment. We completely trust Dr. Wang and his fantastic staff! Trix passed at 16 years of age! Now we are bringing home a new puppy and will bring her to Dr. Wang, thank you Dr. and all your staff!

We have been bringing our Golden Retrievers to Dr. Wang going back to our girl Kayleigh who lived 15 yrs 3 mos. He was responsible for extending her life over 2 yrs when he discovered a liver tumor at the age of 13. Tufts gave her a prognosis of 3 mos. because of her age. Dr. Wang had us immediately start her on Denamarin a liver supplement. That is the only med she was on and it gave her over 2 more years of a good quality of life. He is super smart and has always taken good care of her and now our 19 mos male golden Luke since 8-10 weeks old. My Daughter also has been bringing her cats and dogs to Dr. Wang for years. We would not go to anyone else he is the best!!

Dr Wang wants to save my awesome Bichon dog's front tooth than take him in another room, put him out and take out 3 or 4 more teeth like my friends vet did, plus charge a ton of money. Maybe that dog had really bad teeth but I'm not so sure.Been like this for 11 years; gives great advice always and answers any question directly and specifically. I never felt I paid too much. He wants to see a healthy dog not a sick dog. Probably scolds owners than take their money. Asks me how often I brush my dog's teeth because that's the key to healthy teeth, not just pull them after years of neglect.Equally important to me is the excellence of the office staff. Megan has helped us I think for as long as we have been going there, and Hannah as well are able to answer any question right over the phone, or refer to Dr Wang. They run the office very efficiently and are quick to help, both on the phone and at the office.My dog actually knows the doctor and looks forward to going there; trots right in the front door, hops on the scale, then goes on patrol looking for other people or animals. Our family dog from my childhood was terrified of the vet's office, but Paxton Animal Hospital is a positive experience in contrast.No need to write a review here with 4.8 stars, but feel compelled to anyway. Rare to find such a well run small business.Thanks Paxton Animal Hospital for taking such great care of my dog.

Today was our first time bringing our dogs here. One of our dogs has anxiety and gets very stressed when taken to any vet. Dr. Wang was so patient and took the time to gain their trust. He sat with them, pet them and was very caring. Even with our dog that was throwing a tantrum he was patient and was able to do everything he needed to. He explained everything in detail and can tell he truly cares about animals. We will bring our dogs here from now on. I can't say enough about him and his staff. Everyone is great!

Dr Wang is a great and caring veterinarian. He saw my dog over 6 years and helped us manage her illness and eventually put her down. Excellent care, thorough vet without being pushy, appropriately concerned about the important things like natural diet and exercise. I will absolutely see him again when we get another pet.

Love the staff, they are always friendly and loving towards my animals! Dr. Wang is very knowledgeable and will answer any questions you have and give you all the medical advice you need and more! Both of my dogs LOVE this place! They actually get excited and jump in the car when I say "let's go to the vet!" Deffinetly worth my 30minute travel time!

I highly recommend!When I had an emergency on a Sunday night, Dr. Wang answered the emergency contact number and was able to walk me through inducing vomiting in my dog who had eaten over a pound of chocolate and gave me confidence that I didn't need to take him to the animal hospital.

Omg LOVE this place!!!! The staff are super nice, super friendly and really helpful!!! Dr. Wang is awesome!!! He's very straightforward and very helpful and REALLY nice and he doesn't try to upsell you on ANYTHING, just gives the dogs (and other animals) only what they need. I was impressed that he doesn't have a Vet Tech and my dog allowed him to examine him . He heard my concerns and then gave him an allergy shot.. I also called a few days later with a question and in less than 2 hours he called me back himself.

Dr Wang is wonderful. We brought our dog in 3 years ago, thinking we would need to put him down. He was in awful shape. Dr Wang changed his diet, and spent time educating us on nutrition, and 3 years down the road, the dog is doing great and looking at his 17th birthday. He has taken time on the phone, at no charge, to walk us through problems on a couple occasions. He's smart, and he cares. It's fast paced and obviously a busy place. If your primary concern is the health of your pet, Dr Wang is the best I've seen. Some people seem more concerned with floor wax. I would say, in response to the john Hernandez review, if your pet is a patient there, the staff will mail your medication. As long as the animal is current with his checkups.

Dr. Wang and his staff are truly amazing! I have been going here for 2 years now and have been treated so good. They take me in and go the extra mile when ever we have a problem or something comes up with one of our dogs. Dr. Wang is the best vet I have ever come across and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM. He is extremely knowledgeable about my shar pei and takes the time to go over specifics of the breed as they are susceptible to many health problems. He never tries to push any unnecessary medication or procedures as other vets in the past have. Prices are extremely reasonable, the office is always clean, and I know King is still receiving quality care. I brought my dog to have surgery with Dr. Wang a couple months ago and he definitely improved King's day to day life. The vet is available at all times of day (he was on the phone within two minutes of my dog being attacked, explaining what steps I should take), as you are given his cell phone number during your first visit. Dr. Wang and his staff are thorough, compassionate, and clearly enjoy the work that they do.

We started going to Dr. Wang after he was recommended to us by 2 different people. Living 5 minutes away from a VCA you think, why wouldn't I just go there instead of taking the 30 minute drive to Paxton. Simple. Dr. Wang is the best. He is so thoughtful and he takes the time to listen to your concerns. I don't feel like he is out for money unlike other facilities. When it was time for us to say goodbye to one of our dogs, he and his staff were so compassionate. They gave us all of the time we needed with our boy and were very considerate to our feelings. I would 100% recommend this facility if you are looking for a vet who will take the time to help your pets and answer any and all questions you may have.
