Massive wine 🍷 and beer 🍺 selection with at least three fridges stocking local Massachusetts 🍺 Lovely Local Scoop 🍦 made right in Orleans. Not sure about the Salmon 🐠 sausages? Super friendly staff and an amazing garden centre that’s more like an ornamental park.

Wonderful little market in the heart of Orleans on Cape Cod. They have the most delicious New England Clam Chowder along with three other fresh soups made daily but you have to get there before noon or so or there will be none left! They have an assortment of prepared foods, something that my elderly parents find very helpful for a ready-made meal. Their flowers are absolutely gorgeous and the gardening section huge. Hanging baskets galore during the summer and tons of mums during the fall.

Selection is good, but expensive and the front end employees are super rude. I'd rather hit the stop and shop and the package store on 6a. This is coming from an off season shopper. Guess rude is ingrained and unrelated to the season.

Great store with terrific selections of fruits and produce, prepared food, deli and high quality meats. Enormous choices of cookies, pastries, desserts,muffins...i can go on and on. Wine and beer section has great variety and prices for all items I purchased were fair for the quality. Many regular brand names as well. Beautiful flowers in the garden dept also. Great find.

Bought a premade first encounter sandwich and it was not as advertised. Almost no cranberry mayo(very dry) and clearly swiss cheese vs the labeled cheddar cheese. Small issues i know but when you're working and don't have condiments like mayo to moisten the sandwich is rough. Personally i hate swiss cheese so it makes it a little disappointing.

Moderately large store. Very neat and clean. Verities of plant to buy from their garden center. They had liquor as well. Owner of the store is a great guy he did talk to us and had friendly chat while we were waiting for liquor counter to be opened (10am).

On the recommendation of our family members who are locals, we came to the deli to get sandwich meat and other items for lunch. I asked for 6 slices of meat and when the guy behind the counter gave them to me I noticed it was half a pound. I asked if this was 6 slices and with an attitude he said “you asked for half a pound”. I told him I did not and he went off on me. Luckily my husband was right there and told him that I specifically asked for 6 slices. He grabbed the bag back, took out all the extra slices then threw the bag back on the counter at me and looked away. And… after all if that, when we got back to the house I opened up the bag and he only put 5 slices in.I certainly hope that he was just having a bad day as I have been told this is so uncharacteristic of the employees.

I hesitate to leave this review because this is my little gem. 🤣 I go here because they have EVERYTHING I need, they are uncrowded, and it’s easy in easy out. I love the fresh and often local produce, the beer and wine selection and the friendliness of the staff. Even pandemic I hardly ever found them out of stock on something I needed. Might you spend a small amount more than a big giant supermarket, sure. But a couple extra bucks to be able to get my wine and groceries in the same place and know the quality is outstanding, totally worth it.

I love the staff and I love that it is local. Good wine selection. What I really miss are the variety of homemade sandwiches and salads: They replaced those options with a salad bar and hot entrees. It uses too much plastic that ends up in our beloved ocean. I miss the great sandwiches and salads, especially the Italian Sub. But they do more things right than wrong. I am a loyal customer.

Great little market if you want to avoid the super stores. Excellent prepared foods. Good meats. Low cost wine. Fantastic beer selection. If you need plants and flowers they also are cheaper and better than Agway

Great independent market. Good meat department, limited other areas. Beer and wine are available. Small but nice hot food and salad bar. Several selections of pre-made sandwiches and meals. Many people who go there don't seem to be in much of a hurry. That, coupled with small isles make getting through the store a little challenging. Limited parking, sometimes a problem in the summer. The store delivers for a small charge.

We wanted to say thank you to Friends Marketplace for making serving station for there hot bar !!!! It used to be self serve but due to covid they are now serving which is great! And its just in time for the cold weather. I am grateful that they did this so that everyone in the community enjoy there wonderful food.

The Deli lady with the short blonde hair was very rude.I will never step foot in there again and will also tell EVERYONE I know not to go there. We asked her a simple question and she went off. All we asked was if more sandwiches were coming out. There weren't many sandwiches in the case but we saw alot of them sitting on the counter ready to be packaged. She started telling us that they were shorthanded and we got what was there and "THATS THAT"!!! She actually said and "That's that!!WHOOOO, not good customer service at all. She was yelling at us like we did something to her. She was so rude it took all we had not to go back at her and start a ruckus!! If she was my employee she'd be out the door in a heartbeat. We're out of towners so I'm sure this will fall on deaf ears but that's ok, you'll never get our business again!!
