Moved to Athol after living In several states across New England. This Walmart unlike any other will not take returns. They sell products as a combo pack, but if any product of the combo pack doesn’t work and you return THE SAME DAY for exchange they will not take it. This is the only Walmart to ever give me a hard time about such a thing, only come here if your getting point blank essentials. You guys are honestly lucky you can only review once or i would 1 star you back down to wear you belong

Most of the staff are very nice. It's usually clean overall, but it's not unusual to find the bathroom needs serious attention.I took a friend with me recently & we waited at the deli for her to get a couple things. Even though there were only two people ahead of us, it took about 40 minutes to be helped & over 50 minutes to finish. I find that unacceptable & I won't be bothering with the deli there again. My friend said that's a typical wait time for that store's deli.I do buy most of my food there because their prices tend to be better than anywhere else. I just wish I was supporting a local business rather than a mega chain.I don't feel many of their non-food items have quality. The clothes frequently tear, get holes or the stitching unravels quickly (ie, the elastic from underwear separates).I typically order through the app & my helper picks it up. I don't go in very often.I wish they had a bigger selection of organic frozen veggies & fruit, including avocado.

Good store. Was low on some oddball products but a good experience overall. I will add that being asked to see my receipt after the door greeter watched me walk from a check out with a cashier because the cashier didn't bag my bottle of grape juice is obnoxious. That policy seriously needs to be revisited by corporate. I don't appreciate being treated like I stole something because it's not in a bag.Update : September 2023.Appears they have stopped harassing customers over the receipts. However I'm lowering the star count because the Halloween aisle barely was 2 aisles, yet Christmas is already taking up the entire garden section. In the middle of September. I could tell the employees were upset by this but said corporate was forcing them to do it. Disgusting. At this rate Christmas will be shoved down our throat year round. Do better, Walmart.

Cashier giving me a hard time about coming into his lane because he had one customer already. I know it's not easy working with customers but there is no reason to give attitude to people who don't deserve it. I don't recommend this place at all.

First time in orange Walmart! Little bit smaller scale walmart but the people seem very friendly there: kinda refreshing! Like the grocery section! The pharmacy is recessed in which is hard to see as you walk in! They removed the subway restaurant from this location!

I’m owner of Kelley Maid and Janitorial cleaning service and this Walmart is where we mainly get a lot of our supplies. The customer service here are extremely kind and patient. The amount of work and effort these employees have put into the store being safe clean and sanitized since corona virus is also extremely noticeable.

I love how I always find parking. I love how I can pick up our prescriptions, grocery shop, clothes shop & find plenty of things for our home, all at one store!! And get lunch a Subway is a huge plus as well.

It’s always something wrong when I or my family shop there. Cashiers are slow and not efficient. Check your receipts, often times they double charge you for the same item.

The last cashier I had was incredibly slow. Not paying attention to checking me out, participating in a conversation with two other workers who were having a conversation. When I say slow, I mean S-L-O-W!!

Walmart does not make keys anymore, so they have a kiosk that does it now BUT the orange Massachusetts walmart REFUSES to make change with legal tender ! Walmart is the worste

I have been to many Walmarts in many states and this one is set up really strange. There is no flow And you will have to double back to be sure you get everything on your list. They have a decent produce section but variety is lacking.

Very convenient with amazing staff. I am proud to have such an establishment in my community. I was there on Friday and the staff here were very helpful with my needs.I was just here the other day again. The staff are consistently amazing people to interact with.

ORANGE MA. is a smaller Walmart dosnt carry as much as other Walmarts I've been to, depends what your looking for, the better walmart is Gardner MA.

Prices are high on everything, everywhere, so I'm only buying necessities. Walmart's quality is on par with other stores, they sell just about everything, and it's close to home, so I mostly shop there. I choose to go early in the day, so I'm in and out of the store within 1 hour. Staff is helpful.

I'm usually morning shopper in the day shift is great, but I recently started a evening job, and have started stopping at Walmart on my way home at night. the night shift I find rude unhelpful and they shut everything down early. Around 7 :00 /730 at night and they already had the printer for the pictures set shut down you can't get anything done and when you ask for help they act like you're in their way like you are a bother. I give the night shift a one. Need better night management.

Protection plans they offer are a joke. Covers everything but the thing that happens to your device. Long story short I'm out a tv . They will cover even more expensive items such as laptops. But tvs they dont because the screen size. So ya protections plans are a scam. Buy your big electronics elsewhere.

Never more than maybe 2 registers open especially during high traffic times, yet at least 2 or 3 dozen Walmart employees walking aimlessly through the isles the whole time, and I’ve bought 3 damaged products there in 6 months….*Update - bought a Rotisserie Chicken from there, got Food Poisoning!! 🤮

Many staff are nice, although a few are not. It's usually well-stocked. Lately, it smells of Marijuana from aisle to aisle due to either employees or customers having the smell cling to their clothing. And the fresh produce isn't fresh-looking. There are almost no organic foods.

If zero Stars was an option that's what I would select. Yesterday they refused to exchange a product (with my receipt) that I bought a few days ago because it was purchased at a different Walmart. So I guess now they're arbitrarily changing policies on whatever they feel like doing. Then I called the main number and was told there's nothing they can do and I couldn't even file a complaint and they hung up on me. I remember back when Walmart was being so nice to the communities that they were coming into and then of course being the scummy corporation that they are as soon as they're in they screw you after they've destroyed all the other local stores and run them out of the community and they know they can get away with it because you can't go anywhere else because there is nowhere else to go!!!Walmart is a dirty vile corporation!

Clean, well stocked, wide variety of products including produce, friendly employees, well lit and organized. I've noticed they don't keep mason jars well stocked and they seem to only have a few sizes of mens pants, which is just weird. They literally have no pants for guys over 6' unless you're jack skellington.

Due to Walmart putting in "self checkout", there are always lines and always waiting (not just at this Wal-Mart)!!!They have a very good grocery department, the seasonal, automotive, sporting goods, and hardware departments are ok but nothing amazing (you can probably find what you need). The clothing department, does not have great selections compared to the things they sold years ago.And they force holiday and seasonal preferences products when it isn't even that season or holiday.. that's frustrating.But at least you can find things you may need there.
