Absolutely AMAZING house was beautiful the view was stunning ! The host was phenomenal she was very helpful and super sweet she helped with info about stuff to do that I asked she knew I had kids and offered a game system for them to play ! The beach is beautiful hot tub was amazing I would recommend definitely staying here it felt so homey! We will definitely be back

Stayed here with 8 girls for a weekend trip, and we had a blast! Everything was clean, and we got an early check out and check in easily. The hosts were super responsive and easy to work with, and the waterfront view was so pretty! Plus we had a great time using the fire pit to make stores, and the compound green to have an outdoor dinner. Highly recommend this place

Stayed here last minute due to our previous reservation being cancelled day of arrival. We were in town for a funeral, and the hosts Jocelyn and Kenny were so understanding and accomidating of our situation. We had family in and out with parking a slight issue but they allowed us to use the vacant parking too. The kids were never bored as there were so many activities, kayaks, boats, shell painting, hot tubs, peddle boats, and games. More sheets were supplied when needed. Loved everything about this place.

Stayed the weekend here for a wedding and it was incredible! Came back for another weekend and decided we need to book a week here every year to decompress. Truly a reviving experience. Cant say enough good things about our host, Ken. 5 star resorts in California and Florida dont come close to the VIP treatment this vacation provides.Rooms: The view of the bay through the oversized windows is amazing. Will definitely stay a third time here soon. My only complaint about it is that I had to leave this paradise and head back to reality. If you don't stay a whole week you may feel like you cheated yourself...Nearby activities: I never write reviews but the treatment we received at this place truly blew me away. I'd never been on a jet ski before...or taken a 4 wheeled bicycle to a bar....nor am I good at planning activities like that. Our tour with Kenny was more of a question of 'What wouldn't we be interested in trying?" than anything. He rattled off endless possibilities and we did everything we could in the time we had. Felt like VIP access everywhere we went.Walkability: Everything you need for the cape is within walking distance to the compound...but the group bike makes it even better!Food & drinks: The local bar scene we were shown was great and even had live music.Noteworthy details: Sonos sound system is awesome! Also, there is something to be said about enjoying blender drinks in a jacuzzi overlooking the water. Our host Kenny had all of the connections at the boat rental and our kayak trip was awesome.

Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Hesitant to leave such a raving review online for more people to see and find this awesome destination since I'd rather keep to myself, but this has to be shared. I stumbled upon The Crab House/OBC (Onset Beach Compound) while trying to plan a last minute trip for my family and couldn't be more pleased with our experience as a group of 6. We rented the Crab House and have to say the photos don't do justice. The convenience of having Ken and his team on the property at all times (never a bother, but always responsive if needed) was great and we were welcomed with a very clean house/property with a ton of great amenities. Oh, and Killian the resident dog. My kids loved playing with him.We initially planned on getting close enough to the area to be able to take the ferry over to the vineyard/provincetown and just crash at the house in the evening, but we ended up only spending one day on the island and right back to the Compound to enjoy the private beach, paddle boats, kayaks, jacuzzi, electric scooters, fishing for stripers, looking for crabs, snails, smores/firepit, bbq grill, the views, etc..Great location. Walking distance to great seafood, pizza, bars, ice cream, convenience stores and a short ride around the corner for the super market, bait & tackle (Mako's), and anything else you needed.Can't emphasize how perfect, cozy, and quaint the Crab house was for all 6 of us. I believe this was the smaller house on the property and it was perfect. It actually could sleep a few more.10 stars on the cleanliness and set up. For a family with toddlers, being greeted with board games, yard games, coloring books/pencils, binoculars, a telescope for star gazing, beach toys, life vests (although I bought some beforehand) and everything you need for a convenient private beach day it was such an unexpected surprise. Again, convenient. There is a large TV in the living room and surround sound for music controlled by an Ipad, but there was zero desire to pop the tv on which was great for the family.The neighbors were great to get to know. The other guests at the property next to us, we barely ran into. So for anyone having any hesitation about "shared" amenities, there is plenty to go around for everyone and more likely that others are on their own schedule as well and you will likely feel like you have the entire beach area to yourself. Definitely recommend getting out on the boats and taking a cruise around Onset Beach!I could ramble on. 10/10 and will absolutely be an annual trip for my family and I.Safety: 10/10 safety with the entire area. Cameras all around the property.

I stayed in the flamingo house with my friends this past weekend an wow everything was 10/10 From booking - Checking out we were able to communicate with our host Ken and he was very helpful and accommodating. The house was cozy,clean and comfortable :) Will definitely be coming back , we had a great time inside with the games and outside in the hot tub , this truly felt like home away from home. Bars are a walking distance and there is also great parking.The beds were super comfortable and shower was pretty spacious.

Will definitely be going back! Had such an amazing time!No need to leave the property at all.There are so many fun things to do right on the property. Kayaking and a lot of indoor and outdoor games amongst many other activities.We took the kayaks out to an island that is a short paddle from the house. This was a fun/relaxing experience!Hot tub on property. Very relaxing at the end of the day!One of the staff members were very knowledgeable about the area and the house itself.He knew all the best restaurants and things to check out in the area. This made our stay a lot less stressful!Definitely recommend staying at this property!

Great set up and location! The houses have everything you would need. Paddle boating and kayaking around the water on a private beach was amazing! I loved the fire pit, hammock, and hot tub too. The kids had endless fun, and was asking when we could go back before we even left. The staff was very helpful, and went above and beyond for us; I will definitely be going back.

I have stayed here 3 times with different groups each time, The crab house is my favorite for kid friendly trips! its right up front on the water and has a view from everywhere inside and out. We stayed with 4 kiddos and a DOG, YES they let us bring our pup and treated her like she was family. The staff was so amazing, they went above and beyond to make our stays absolutely perfect every time. The mermaid house is AMAZING with adults stay, the hidden hot tub is everything everyone would ever want. the houses layout has everything you can possibly think of. Regardless of what you're looking for in a stay you'll find it here.....AND you don't have to go over the bridge and deal with ridiculous amounts off traffic.

Our stay at the Crab House definitely exceeded our expectations! The staff were so welcoming with decorations, snacks, games and drinks. Even though we were a last minute booking, Jocelyn and Kenny went out of their way to create a fun, unique, and special experience for us! They were super responsive, flexible, and helpful to any needs that arose.The house itself was cozy and had gorgeous water views on three sides. The beds were super comfy and the space was perfect for our group. There were so many modern touches despite it being built in the 1800s (like incredible surround sound in all the spaces, easily controlled by the provided iPad which allowed you to adjust the volume of tv/music in each room separately!) We also loved the hot tub and the waterview from there! (If you’re lucky like us, Killian the Compound dog may pay you a visit too!) We can’t wait to come back in warmer weather to take advantage of the water activities and outdoor amenities!

Absolutely some of the best air bnbs around. The houses are all very nice and clean. The staff is amazing and responds very quickly if needed. Not to mention the kayaks/boats. They also have jet ski tours which are worth every penny. I would definitely recommend to anyone to definitely take the tour if you stay, you will not regret the experience!

I booked a small trip for the family and we stayed at the recently added Flamingo resort. I have to say, I was nothing but impressed. From the atmosphere of the Compound to the hospitality the staff provided, we were not far from feeling “at home” at all. It was beyond relaxing and the area is beautiful. My favorite part was waking up and being able to roll over to look out a very large window which overlooks the sunrise and ocean.Typically I don’t take the time to write reviews like this, but as I said… my whole family felt at home here. The kids we’re never bored, the wife and I could relax.. highly recommended!!! 10/10

Fabulous location and great vibe! You simply can't beat the location here. I visited in winter so I didn't get a chance to swim (ha!) or take advantage of all the kayaks and fun water toys. But sitting the glass sun room and watching the birds all day was so amazing. And watching the sunrise from the comfort of my bed every morning was awesome. Everything was super cozy and charming. There are linked speakers throughout the downstairs to hook up some music or radio or podcast which was a nice treat. My only 'complaint' was I wish there was more/brighter light in the living for evening puzzling!

We had such a great time staying in the Mermaid House. It was so relaxing and felt like home. Being able to bring our dogs was such a treat. They had the time of their lives watching the boat drop-in from the big windows and meeting Killian, the sweet dog who was on the property. The owner Kenny was beyond helpful and responsive. There was so much to do without even leaving the property. 10/10 will visit again!!

Stay???? That's funny!!!!How can you stay there when the property owner decides to cancel your stay THE DAY BEFORE YOU ARE TO ARRIVE!!!!!I booked this property months ago on expedia to take my kids away before my son goes away to college... Last journey of the summer!!!!The day before we were set to go (2 adults and 4 teenagers) the owner pulled the rug... cancelled!!!?????? This day before???? Is this a joke???Absolutely Disgusting!!!!!!Meanwhile, it was still listed as available??Unacceptable!!! Do not book,,,they can and will cancel on you ... Be very careful...
