The owner, Frank, could not have been more welcoming! I’ve never been to a more hospitable restaurant! My husband and our two kids and I came for the “all you can eat” pizza special for $10. We each had a slice of Buffalo chicken pizza and Greek pizza. The two slices were HUGE and delicious!! That was all I could eat! Haha. Frank insisted my husband had another slice and gave him a Meat Lovers pizza which he allowed my husband to bring home since there was no way he was finishing it. We cannot wait to come back again and try more of the HUGE menu! We grabbed some Banana pudding with Oreo and chocolate mousse to try later! Thanks Frank! Oh and thank you for the French fries for our son, they were soo good!Parking: It’s a paid lot in season. However we did not have to pay since it was off seasonKid-friendliness: My son got a kids Mac and cheese ($5.95) I could tell it was homemade. I loved it! Frank also gave our son a side of fries which were so good!

Yea the owner is nice and all but this is the THIRD TIME I’ve ordered the CHEESE ravioli and it’s too hard to even eat. Idk if y’all are over cooking it or something but it’s not that hard to cook a ravioli…. Especially if it’s frozen. I even got one ravioli with meat in it which I don’t eat. It’s not even edible or salvageable. It’s sad how awful the “cooks” are here bc this place could have some potential.

1st time with this new owner and the food was delicious..just toMention there was a comment from a customer mentioning the 4 percent charge on a credit card. I was at Seafood Sam’s & gladly accepted the extra fee there as well it’s the economy!I had an Italian sandwich! The cold cuts & condiments were so fresh & the bread, Baked from scratch on the premises . We also had a chicken sandwich ( 2 pieces of chicken)with grilled red peppers garlic little balsamic etc delicious. Definitely fans❤️

Frank catered our company event and MAN he HOOKED IT UP!! Firstly, the amount of food for the price was unreal. Best catering service you're gonna get hands down. Everyone loved it, food was the highlight of the party. Definitely going to be having all of our company events catered by Onset Patio & Grill. If you get your catering elsewhere, you'll be missing out.

Well, the owner was rude to other patrons. The food is horrendous, you get charged 4% for not having cash. Spent over $60 for the meal. Fried raviolis are market basket raviolis thrown in the fryer. The oil is old and you can taste the burnt in your food. I had the burger with egg, it tasted as if they used freezer burned burgers. My in laws came to visit and wanted to sit outside so w gave them a try as we remember when it was a different establishment the pizza was great. We tried to order a pizza over an hour late, I should have known better when tables were empty and some complained about the long wait for food. I chalked it up to tourists trying to get a quick bite before leaving our beautiful town. Before you ask, I was going to talk to the owner as he was at the register but he was being rude to anyone who said anything about the food. Figured I wouldn't waste my time as others stated the French fries tasted burnt, I recognized the taste because I've worked in kitchens whee they did not change their oil as frequently and you would get that burnt taste. I will not be going back for the food. If you want some beers over looking the water by all means take a seat, buy there are better establishments in the area for food. Pretty sure they are not supposed to charge more for using a card as well.Relies on tourists ignorance of his place to make money. Shame for shame!!!

Absolutely the rudest worst experience I’ve ever had in a local restaurant in a while. Busy is one thing, obnoxious and pushing the blame off on employees while you hover over the register not helping at all is a terrible look for a manager and even worse if he’s the owner. Throwing food into boxes. Condescending and rude. Dude you’re passive aggressive and aggressive at the same time. Called me honey when he finally gave me my order. Your restaurant is in absolute disarray save your piss poor attitude and go lift a hand in the kitchen.Tenders were wrong, not sauced, fries were wrong no gravy, burger was wrong. We waited an hour for the wrong food and paid $50 for a burger, chicken tenders and two orders of fries.What a joke.Never ever again.Just look at the photo of the fries.That’s inedible.And now I’ve read a few days later he choked a patron. Same reviews for this menace for over a year. Get a therapist and some anger management counseling. You’re running your business and reputation into the ground.

Not a sit down restaurant. We thought it was, but it was fine. Read other reviews about the owner being rude, not our experience they were very welcoming and called you by name when your order was ready. Large portions. Chicken parm had two full size filets, but my husband said the pasta wasn't very good. Was more like a baked ziti rather than regular pasta, but pasta was a little over cooked. Fisherman's plater was huge and very filling can be shared with 4 people.

We were in Wareham for 3 days and chose to eat 2 meals here. The portions are huge even small sandwiches. My hamburger was made with Angus beef not ground chuck. My husband ordered a small Philly steak and cheese. It was huge and made with shaved steak. He said it was the best he ever had. The atmosphere is exactly right for this type beach village. This is a very small place with no atmosphere. You order at the counter and pick up at the counter. The onion rings (had to pay an extra $3 for the substitution instead of fries) were horrible. Thick cornmeal type breading. Could not even taste the onions.The steak burger was overcooked and was much smaller than it appeared on their website. It was served in a cardboard basket that was not very large. Thankfully, we were lucky enough to get in on the 50% off deal for February. I would NEVER pay $18 for what I received. The young man behind the counter was very nice. We did not have long to wait for our food. There is a lovely view of the Bay.

We used to order from this place exclusively via Door dash.The past several times we have ordered the order has been wrong, missing items, or not a full order. It’s very frustrating when you pay a ton in delivery fees, tip the driver and then you end up with half the order you tipped based on. Door dash refunds with credit but it’s beyond frustrating that they continuously have the order printed in front of them and just continue to send wrong items. We have given them our last chance and won’t be back. Sad because when they do send the correct items it’s pretty good. Pictured is the $22 salad that was supposed to have chicken and blue cheese dressing. It’s hard to tell but the lettuce is not even close to filling the container, no chicken at all and balsamic dressing. What a shame. More like a $12 salad here…

Couldn’t ask for better service at this awesome patio pizzeria! We ordered a veggie pizza and the veggies couldn’t have been any more fresh! Our Bang Bang fish sandwich was out of this world, lightly breaded and finished off with their own bang bang tarter sauce and Swiss on a torpedo roll and we paired it with two cold beers! Staff was very friendly and the outdoor patio is DOGGO FRIENDLY! Plenty of shade and it’s on the beach. Highly recommend and we willBe back!

Ordered kids hamburgers. They look like a rat took a big bite out of them. Even my 6 and 10 year old noticed they were inedible and actually disturbing. Called the store, was told by owner it was a 1/4 lb "splat" burger. Unreal. He was rude and unapologetic. No customer service skills whatsoever. Didn't even offer to remake them for my hungry children. Basically stated I was out of luck, and referred me to Doordash to request a refund.Of course, didn't read the many many similar reviews until I had this experience. If I had, I would've seen his unprofessional and unapologetic justifications are the norm. Seems to be a mental health issue. I read on one review that the owner is a proud New Yorker, perhaps he just does not care because this is not his home. Or perhaps he makes so much money on tourists that he doesn't care if his customers are satified. He doesn't deserve our business, people!! GO TO MARCS or one of the many other local businesses that appreciate your business and treat you and your family with respect.

Absolutely disgusting! We had been stopping here for a steak and cheese calzone for years and it was great! It now costs $35 for a single calzone and it is probably the worst calzone I gave ever had. It’s a pound of ricotta with liquidy, unevenly spread, obviously previously frozen steak. It has zero flavor and was inedible. The price is absolutely outrageous. The calzone wasn’t even cut and it’s like a foot long. Ordered the caprese salad as well and that gross. Not sure how you screw a caprese salad up but they did! Quotes from my kids while attempting to eat this meal “omg I want to throw up”, “ugh this is like school lunch….but worse”, “would you like some steak with your pound of ricotta???”, “I can’t eat this!”. Oh and I could hear the kitchen staff swearing while I was waiting and it smelled like cigarette smoke.

I have now eaten on three occasions at Onset Patio and Grille, with each meal being fresh and delicious. The menu is large, offering a wide variety of items, with a a great view of the beach. While you can’t take alcohol on the beach it is great to be able to sit by the water on a beautiful day, Truly in hand. The staff are pleasant, hardworking and predominantly local. They are a great addition to Onset- Give them a try if you are in this area..

One of the most shockingly bad food experiences I've had. The owner was at first overly nice and boasting about how all of their soups are "home-made", then their tomato basil soup came out which is basically marinara sauce. The fried fish was unappetizing and boring, not to mention way overpriced and upcharged. As we left, the owner was condescending, arrogant and dismissive. Their customers must not be reading the overwhelmingly negative reviews here, which are spot on. The only nice thing here is the view.

Food was fantastic. I ordered pickup and it was done right when they said it was going to be. The Mozzarella sticks were delicious and the portion size was more than generous. The Chicken Parm Calzone was perfect. I will absolutely be back all summer.
