Very helpful staff and highly recommended. First time dog owner and we never had one as kids so everything with puppies is new to me. I feel terrible that I forgot his name but one of the gentleman working there the day I popped in was unbelievably patient, thoughtful, and understanding. Walked me around each section(toys, food, supplements, collar/leashes, household products) and have me not just the pro's on each product but con's as well which was really refreshing not just being ushered to the most expensive item. Once again highly recommended

Love this store! Petco is way better than pet smart! Better brands and more informed staff. I love this location because it is always clean, conveniently located and the staff there is always so friendly to me and my dog. My favorite part is the training classes and play time offered here for puppies and adults. If you haven't checked it out, you should!

I am always satisfied with the Petco pick up, my kitty deserves the best and that means she gets expensive kitty litter [Feline Pine]. Petco has the cheapest price, but only if you order it online, and I'd rather pick it up at the store than have it sent to me [I usually have things shipped to my office which would mean having to lug multiple 20 lb bags down the stairs to my car, easier just to wheel it in a cart to my car... I like animals more than most humans, and Petco has a great team [probably because every employee is also an animal lover!]. Thank you.]

Well-stocked, clean and brightly lit with nice windows up front. They are severely understaffed, with one person ringing AND helping customers with things up front, while another person was stuck on back to back calls.Cashier clearly wanted to go back to helping the people up front instead of ringing, barely said anything to me and canceled the prompt to donate to a shelter without asking in order to speed up the process.I don't know if there's a change in management or a sudden turnover, but the several times I have been here before were vastly different.

This is our go-to pet related store, my 3 yr old loves saying hi to the hamsters, mice, reptiles, fish, and birds. The organization is easy to understand, and the store is reliably clean and well stocked.Plus, everyone who works there is really kind and friendly.

Great food and ambience unfortunately the server forgot our soup and salad then when asked replied do you want it to go. She was sweet about it and gave a free dessert,but the whole experience was over by that time.

Tried giving them a second chance but once again, unfriendly grooming staff. Total hack job on the nails, supposed to be nicely trimmed and buffed. Doesn’t even smell like she was bathed. No bandana. No spritz. And she was there for 3 1/2 hours with no explanation. Pats place grooming 100% better.

I went in specifically to pick up Pill Pockets. The shelf where I usually find them was nearly empty, with only a few small bags of peanut butter flavor. There was a sign on the shelf indicating that Pill Pockets could be found in the snack aisle, so I thought that maybe the store was in the process of relocating them. I checked all the aisles that had dog snacks, but I couldn't find any other Pill Pockets than the ones I had seen in the original location. I bought a small bag of the peanut butter flavor (which luckily my dog was willing to eat), but I was a bit disappointed that there were no large bags or other flavors. My dog needs multiple heart and seizure meds twice a day, so we go through Pill pockets pretty often, which is why I prefer to buy the larger bags. Other than that, everything was great. The store is clean, everyone was respectfully wearing a mask, and the employees are always very friendly and helpful.

I regularly purchase food and treats from Petco for my dog and cat. They have a great variety of items and weekly sales. Staff are very knowledgeable and always ready to help. Highly recommended!

I went in about 20 minutes before they closed. I could tell they wanted to go home but they were all patient with me while I searched for what I wanted. They didn't have it but I snagged the last moss ball! And the cashier was friendly. I also had $5 in rewards so that was nice too lol I also liked the way they were set up and their fish tanks in the back looked nice and clean and the fish looked healthy. No dead Bettas either so that's always a good thing. I don't live around here but if I did, I'd definitely be back!

I like this store. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because the store is a little expensive. The people who work there are VERY nice and helpful. I usually find what I want for my dog.

The customer service representatives are helpful and nice and know how to help you. The environment in there is clean and spacious and they have a pet grooming facility for dogs.They have small animals, mainly small reptiles, snakes, hamsters, Guinea pigs, birds and fishes. No dogs or cats. For that the people in Petco refer you to an adoption facility for dogs and cats.Overall, this Petco is one of the great ones and I enjoyed shopping there.

I thank you, Petco, for such a professional staff!Petco, where the pets go.…You can get pet grooming here as well as fish, birds, and all your typical pet supplies…Small mammals, gerbils , hamsters, guinea pigs… Small birds medium-size birds…staff is very knowledgeable, and they all seem to love animals also! Makes it one of the best stores to go to for pet supplies.Thank you Petco!

Way better than other pet store up at Walpole mall......lol. Educated fish department lady(sorry forgot her name). Groomers see quick and good to my family dog and cat. Good amount of product choices decent prices.

This Petco in Norwood, MA. is great because the associated that work there are very helpful and are eager to ensure customer satisfaction.It's a good sized store that offers pet services, like grooming and applying flea & tick treatments (when purchased). There's tons of food, supplies and some smaller pets like fish.If your pet doesn't like a new food that you bought, you can return it for a different one (at least here at Norwood).The store is clean, organized and actually doesn't smell like s pet supply store. They have hand sanitizer, sanitizer sprays, paper towels and disposable masks if you forgot yours.Today, Susan helped me with my purchase by adding my $5 Petco Rewards from the Petco App. The app wasn't adding my discount to my purchase, but she quickly fixed the issue for me. She was a great help, very knowledgeable and patient.To be honest, I wouldn't have written this review if Susan wasn't so helpful and pleasant. This makes a big difference to where I purchase my pet products.Norwood Petco is doing a great job.

Nicely organized store for the small space that its in. Difficult getting in/out of the dedicated parking lot because its right on Boston-Providence Hwy but there is a stoplight there for left turns. Great array of fish available and they even have Ferrets that one of the employees was really helpful in showing.

The district manager was demeaning and disrespectful. She called me a scammer in front of the other customers/employees of the store. Once I got on the phone with corporate (that has yet to do anything) she walked away saying she wouldn’t help me. 5 minutes later, she stood directly behind me, trying to intimidate me, I asked her to walk away since she already informed me she wouldn’t be of any help. After speaking with corporate, they allowed me to purchase the dog food I always buy. This was ridiculous especially since I work in customer service. As the DISTRICT MANAGER of a company, how she acted, was unprofessional.

So many variations of animals it's absolutely silly, but excellent. Clerks here are courteous and knowledgeable about the various pets. Prices are reasonable. I've been to many Petcos, and this one I highly recommend.

It is hands down the worst of the petcos. I went in to get a carbon bag for a filter in an aquarium I was setting up and saw such awful conditions in the fish tanks. There were 4 gold fish (3 fancy and 1 black more) in MAYBE a 10 gallon tank (goldfish need 10 gallons per inch because they produce a lot of ammonia and need a lot of oxygen) 2 of the fancies had ich the black more had 8 anchor worms and the other fancy had a very bloated stomach that turned out to be swim bladder. I brought them home with me because I felt so bad for them. The fancy with swim bladder didnt make it 3 days. Awful store. I wont go back there for anything again. Do not support them!!

Your employee (I am sorry, I did not get her name) helped us fit a chest harness to our staffie.....not such an easy task....she was very patient and helpful.....her advice proved correct, and my staffie and I were able to have a more enjoyable walk today with this corrective harness...I will seek out this employee next time I shop.
