We stopped in at night, traveling. So excited to see ice cream open in evening! So many friendly people and dogs. Had gluten free selection ( thank you!!! daughter who is celiac was able to get a cone). Very reasonably priced, excellent taste and quality. The atmosphere is lovely, Fun t-shirts for sale, so many yummy options, kind staff. Would recommend!

So glad I found this little place! It's kind of hard to miss, since it's small and not in your face. I was taking a country drive up north to enjoy the scenery and was in the mood for some ice cream. I googled this place and glad I did, or else I probably would've passed it! Very nice people and great service!!

Really good ice cream! And shockingly fair price. When they told us the total I assumed it was just for my maple milkshake, not my bf's cone as well. We both really enjoyed it!! Perfect stop on the way to the drive in theater in the evening!

Covid safe. It’s such a Busy place but the lines for ordering and pickup keep moving. Such friendly and organized staff. They have a huge variety of the best ice cream and drinks. I had a vanilla softie with peanut butter dip. It was heavenly.

Ah, Northfield Creamie... Here's the deal. I grew up going to this place and have always loved it. But for the last near-double-decades, it's become even more special to me.First of all, there are NO--absolutely NO--better, tastier, or more CREAMY creamies in the universe. I can attest, cuz I've had them all over the world and this country. And, if you're not a soft-serve kinda folk, they have an ever-increasing (but always consistent) selection of delicious, local hard ice creams.So, I usually start the season (like today) with a twist, cake cone, "dirty princess" sprinkles (mix of pink and white with some chocolate ones.) Through the summer I will defy my not-too-strong sweet tooth, simply because I feel the need to gorge whilst I can. And, I can.When I finally decided to try a chocolate malted milkshake, I took a chance and had it with SOFT chocolate ice cream. I mean, it's THE BEST soft serve, right? I took one sip and involuntarily shouted, "OH MY GOD!"Like a scene from Katz's deli, everyone wanted to know "what she's having...?" A malted damn chocolate milkshake with soft serve. I had several. For brunch.On top of the most ridiculous iteration of soft-serve, ever...Seeing Tim and Mary is like coming home. And, they have the most fantastic eye for staffing! No drab, personality-free people serving up sweet treats. Only erudite and sincerely friendly folk.I'm not even going to go into detail about the chest freezer we bought so my father could stock up on and hoard some Northfield extra-Creamies for the winter. 36 pints lasted 6 weeks. They're impossible to resist! Just like every single, little and large thing about Northfield Creamie.Love, love, love.

I know it's not in VT, but they have one of the best maple creamies I've ever had. They also do great malted milk shakes, which are hard to find these days! I love this place and the owners and will totally be going back!

Best Ice Cream in Northfield, when you show up expect a bit of a line because this little gem isn't hidden for most people in the area. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but don't let that stop you just be patient because it's worth the wait.

This is hands down the best creamie in all of Franklin county! For all those complaining of long lines on summer nights… that’s just how it goes at any ice cream stand! Pick a rainy night if you don’t want a line. Excellent quality local ice creams, all the topping you could ever dream of, and picture perfect sundaes that are also delicious!

Took a nice summer drive with the top down up to Northfield Creamie to have a butterscotch sunday! Three sizes , one, two or three scoops, I chose two. 😊Pricing is where it is for this area, service was quick and there are tables on the side ,"with umbrellas" so you can comfortably eat your treat! No skimping on the topping or butterscotch! Definitely worth the drive.

48 years ago, my family was sponsored by Harrison & Louise Smith, we lived with their house on 50 Main st , few blocks away there was a small icream stand .. Smiths family & we ate icream ,it was so delicious. 87 Main Street First Baptist church located on same road , we used to going this church every Wednesday, Sunday.. Hopefully, previous icream owner belongs to your families. I will visit this town again in Middle of May & stop by enjoy your Icream again. Thank

There is many flavors you could not even think of even if you tried really hard, i got the one that tasted to me of apple pie. Where is the sorbet from? I'm dying for some and the creamie is closed! I drove from texas to catch them a few months ago and couldn't make out before they closed this month. While I have driven through Northfield countless times, this afternoon, 2 June 2022, was the first time I stopped at the Creamie. And I am pleased that I did. I ordered a vanilla malt (spooned, not soft, ice cream). And, while I managed to wear some of it on the drive back to Amherst, it was nevertheless delicious. I will no doubt be stopping by again. I was checking the "college" tip jar. I still cannot believe that the Sherri (spelling?), the one who took my order, is a grandmother. It's simply impossible.

I scream, you scream, the police come, it gets awkward. Seriously though this is the best place for ice cream, and I am an ice cream lover/addict. Service is always good, ice cream is from Lowry dairies and creameries, owner is a real nice man. Places to sit, many with shade.

This place has amazing ice cream and the staff are extremely friendly. It is a local treat when it opens up around Memorial Day. It is usually really busy on the weekends, because the ice cream and service is so good. I really enjoy taking my son there. Definitely a local hotspot that I would absolutely recommend if you are in the area to give it a try! Prices are reasonable, slightly on the high side but not too bad.

Great selection of ice cream, but I have to admit I always get a creamie. I used to come here as a kid, and aside from the part that's gone because a bus hit it, it's just the same. Always a good crowd, and the ice cream is yummy. My only complaint, and it's a small one, is that back in the day they would have black raspberry instead of chocolate once or twice a summer. Yum. This place is well worth the schlep from 91.

Honestly I showed up just before close for them and they were busy and my daughter asks for whipped cream on her cone!!!🤣 of course I said I don't think they do that and the guy working says of course we can! He made such fun with jokes that my normally shy child was laughing and so excited that he went out of his way to make it fun for her!❤ so he put whipped cream on her soft serve ice cream cone and then sprinkles and a 🍒 on top most beautiful ice cream I have ever seen! Had to share it was a great time and I thank you for making my daighters night! She says it's the best day EVER!!!

Great place to stop anytime you go through Northfield on the way to the drive-in or a great excuse to go through Northfield on your way anywhere just for the ice cream. Hard and soft serve with plenty of flavors to satisfy the most discerning palate.
