If you're looking for results, I highly recommend NCRFC. Suzanne, Beth and the staff all go above and beyond to help your dog recover. The level of care and compassion was evident in all my visits.Suzanne has what I call magic hands. She has this amazing ability to relax your pet while providing the necessary treatment.Suzanne is extremely good at what she does. My veterinarian highly recommended her to me. Beth can find the tight knots on Zoey's back while getting smothered with kisses. Beth is very gentle and very compassionate. I have been very happy with the rehab Zoey's received, that I tried the grooming side. OMG !!! what an amazing job they did on my other lab Zack. I was so impressed that I brought Zoey in to be groomed. NCRFC has so many things to offer your pet all in one place with a staff that treats you like family.

Back in August of 2023, our then 12yo female Weimaraner suffered a stoke-we brought her to Tufts thinking that we were going to have to put her down. They kept her for 3 nights and sent her home with us,the vet said that dogs can recover but it is not guaranteed and can take several weeks. In the meantime, we were giving our girl water from a syringe, hand feeding her while we propped her head and carrying her outside to eliminate (sometimes not making it). At the time, we really didn't think of the enormity of caring for her until after about 2 weeks when we not seeing much change. It was then that I googled "Dog PT" and saw NCRFC. They got us right in,( they were very nice/caring on the initial phone call) my husband carrying the dog as she had no strength at the initial evaluation. Suzanne started with manual techniques and modalities. She was very focused on our dog in terms of what she was seeing, as if our dog was the only "client" she had, or we were relatives (which was neither). After the first visit, we left there with hope. She was clear that she was unable to give us 100% certainty that Hannah would recover but she felt that the dog had potential. After several visits with Suzanne providing PT along with educating us on what we could do between visits, our dog got to the point where she is basically able to do everything she needs to do to enjoy a quality life- as evidenced by her stubby tail wagging often! She is different in her abilities- her walking is a bit "funky" (we call her the sidewinder!), she is unable to do stairs or run fast.People feel bad when I tell them that our dog had a stroke and though she has significantly slowed down, she is actually more endearing to us than she has ever been. They haven't seen her perseverance, her continued loyalty and the love that she continues to share with our family.I don't think when Suzanne went to school, they told her that not only will she be taking care of animals, but people too- and with amazing skill, knowledge, experience and most importantly-love.The journey with animals is sometimes not easy with lots of uncertainty and emotion-these are people that have the ability to help us with our beloved pets. With love and gratitude, we thank all of you.

I brought my best friend in with a known CCL tear. We didn't want to put him through a huge surgery and then have to keep him medicated and quiet for several months. With the therapy and expert guidance given to us by the staff Oliver is back. He is playing, eating and acting like his old goofy self! The staff not only comforts the animal but helped me get through a few days with him when I was extremely worried about him. The facility is clean and state of the art. I would recommend them to anyone for the eval and or treatment. They're the best!Sincerely,Oliver's Dad

No amount of praise will express how truly grateful we are for Northborough Canine Rehab and Fitness Center! We started taking our dog Stella here after she had CCL surgery and didn’t recover as we expected. Stella certainly isn’t the easiest dog to work with and certainly puts up a fight for everyone and every attempt to help her. Beth, “Uncle” Patrick, and the rest of the staff at NCRFC welcomed us with open arms and have been so amazing with our crazy little princess! They have been so patient and gone out of their way to help Stella feel comfortable. Stella is having surgery on her other leg for a luxating patella next month and we trust NCRFC wholeheartedly to ensure she has the smoothest recovery possible!

Suzanne and her team at NCRFC are amazing. I cannot say enough good things about the level of care they showed my dog, Finnegan. Before NCRFC came into our lives, my dog was on pain medication, limping badly and waiting for a consult for a $9,000 hip surgery. Now he is off medication, playing ball and living life to the fullest. All of was thanks to the TLC shown by NCRFC’s knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend their services.

They diagnosed my dog with arthritis when her own vet failed to do so. They are always so good to Vera there and help to alleviate her pain. Suzanne and Beth are especially wonderful with her.

Jess is a skilled groomer. Sue and team of PTs (Beth, among them) are all wonderful with our Newfie, Rugby. They’ll coach you in doing your part to rehabilitate your injured puppy. Can’t recommend this place enough!

I could not say enough good things about NCRF. I brought my dog Simon here after his back surgery in the fall for massage and physical therapy. Months later and PT days are his favorite! From the first consult to today I have never doubted their knowledge and have been comfortable and confident in their care of Simon. The staff is so friendly and kind to you and your pets. I could not recommend them enough!

I can not say enough about Susanne and her wonderful staff. My dog went to her about 4 years ago for a torn ACL, and this again this past August for one on his other leg. She told me it would be about 3 months of weekly/bi weekly therapy the first time. 3 months later you would never know he had an injury. Jump ahead 4 years and it's happened again on his other leg. The first person I knew to call was Susanne. Zeus is 13 and I wasn't sure if therapy would work as well this time, but if anyone could help get him walking on his own again, I knew it would be her. During this last 3 months Zeus has developed a few other issues and Susanne has been such a HUGE help to us. Her compassion for animals is above any I have ever seen. She has a wonderful gift of being able to connect with dogs, and humans in such a compassionate way. Her expertise is nothing short of amazing. She and her staff (Patrick and Beth, who also helped with Zeus) are deeply caring about the welfare of the dogs they help. Zeus just graduated and is back to running through the house like a wild man. I will be forever grateful to her for helping Zeus get his life back. THANK YOU

Susanne and her staff are incredible. My Bulldog Chloe underwent two major surgeries for each of her hind legs and with the help of NCRFC she is almost back to 100% in a much quicker time frame than I had originally anticipated. Her increase in strength and conditioning was accelerated and allowed her to return to her playful self just in time for the holidays. The people here truly care and will help you become a superhero for your pet. Not only do they provide advanced therapy in their wonderful facility, but they also provide you with the knowledge to continue doing the right exercises at home so your dog can get back to living a happy life. I can't thank them enough!

Suzanne and her staff are amazing. My dog was limping significantly and appeared to be in pain just a couple months ago. Now his limp is undetectable and he is back to normal walks and activity. Suzanne clearly cares very much about my dog, and everyone who works there is very nice.

Northborough Canine Rehab is amazing! Suzanne and her team are warm and caring people who truly love the dogs they work with and it shows. Our dog had severe bilateral hip dysplasia and had just had FHO surgery on both hips. The original rehab place was doing general massage on his hips and said that his knees were also a problem. On our first visit with Suzanne, she quickly figured out that the majority of his pain was coming from trouble with his spine. In a couple of months, his hips are working well, his gait is improving and he’s not suffering with spinal pai . We could never have done it without Suzanne and her team at Northborough Canine Rehab and will be forever grateful!

Alright, I’m not going to lie - when I heard my vet wanted my dog to get physical therapy and massages, I had an internal eye roll. But after the first visit here with Suzanne, I was blown away. She is absolutely incredible at what she does. Not only was she amazing dealing with our puppy but she is also very knowledgeable. We saw a lot of quick progress with our pup. Suzanne and her team are top notch!

Suzanne and her staff are amazing! We started bringing our dog a couple of months ago. She suffers from arthritis and other leg injuries. At the time we started therapy, she could barely stand on her own. Now she has regained much of her mobility and we see improvement every week. I only wish I had found them sooner. Everyone there is so friendly. They truly care about every dog they work with.

Suzanne and her team are wonderful! We’re currently in the midst of PT for our doggo that recently had IVDD surgery and we couldn’t be happier with the level of care at Northborough Canine Rehabilitation & Fitness Center. Although we have pet insurance, their prices are extremely reasonable. Can’t say enough great things about this place!

It’s hard to find words to describe how much Susanne and her staff have done for our furry four legged family member. When we we first started coming to the rehab with Diesel he was dragging his rear feet a-lot and was having trouble walking. The vet told us that he would need to have both hips replaced. After meeting with Suzanne she said they she thought she could help fix Diesel without the need of surgery. Within a few visits we saw a dramatic difference and now it has been about a year and he is doing 100 times better. When you go to NCRFC you not only get the best in the business but you also get to meet and interact with true animal lovers that want nothing but the best for you and your furry family members.I cannot count the amount of pups that I have personally seen come into the rehab not able to walk and within weeks they are walking again and full of energy. It’s truly brings joy to see the miracles that Susanne and her staff bring on what seems like a daily basis. We are looking forward to bringing a soon to be new addition to NCRFC to be trained and to learn how to swim while Diesel gets his weekly rehab!

My husband and I came here after adopting a shelter dog who was in need of structured and consistent training. Over several months we worked with Jade on leash training, our dog's reactiveness to people and other animals, and other behavioral issues. Jade is amazing and gave us the confidence to gain control of our dog. She is patient, clearly explains expectations, and gives us options on tools to help with success. I highly recommend NCRFC based on the work that was done with Jade!

It's difficult for me to express the level of gratitude I feel towards Susanne and all the caring staff at NCRFC. I was referred to Susanne by a friend who had experienced success rehabbing their lab's torn ACL. Being faced with a five figure TPLO surgery and the intense post-surgery recovery for my lab's two partially torn ACLs was very difficult for our family. Before committing to the surgery we consulted with Susanne. Susanne felt confident that she could rehabilitate our lab and her confidence gave us hope. We fully committed to her plan to manage the injury and did whatever she suggested at home to help the process. Today, we were discharged from services. While Susanne conveyed and held hope for us three months ago, there was a skeptical part of me that wondered if this treatment would really be successful. At our final session today, as Susanne worked on my pup, it was clear how much progress was made. Susanne's skill in working with the dog and human is impressive. She demonstrates knowledge, understanding, care, compassion, and love...it can truly be felt in the treatment room. If you're facing a similar situation or have a dog where physical therapy has been recommended, I wouldn't hesitate to seek out a consultation with Susanne. I trust her fully. Thank you Susanne and the rest of the team for your work!

NCRFC is our dog's favorite place to be other than home. Over 3 years ago, our dog had an FCE that left him temporarily paralyzed, and his PT has been a critical part of his recovery and helping him keep up an active lifestyle as he ages. Susanne and the staff are wonderful people who truly care about all of their patients.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I am in complete AWE of Susanne and her entire team at Northborough Canine. They are the total package: knowledgeable, experienced, talented, kind, dedicated... I could go on and on.My 5-year old dog Sully was diagnosed with elbow dysplasia about 2 years ago, which has been causing him constant discomfort. He has always been a super-active dog and over the past 6 months our daily walks and weekly hikes have become painful - for him (constant limping) and for me (watching him limp and feeling helpless - already doing all of the joint supplements and vet-recommended management). So after talking to my vet I decided to give PT a try, and I will be forever grateful we did! We've been going weekly for a little over a month and.... Sully's limp is GONE!!! Not just better, which had been my hope, it's GONE! So now we are at the stage of building his muscle strength back up so he can (hopefully) go back to living the life of a normal young dog.In addition to working their magic on Sully (and it totally does feel like magic!), the team at Northborough Canine has taught me how to help Sully lose weight (critical for his condition), how to do heat and massage at home to help with his therapy, how to lift him out of the car in a way that doesn't kill my back (LOL) — and they even let me borrow an extra ramp they had to see if that would help with car loading/unloading.To say I am now optimistic that we can get back to our adventures (without the limping!) is an understatement. I am beyond thrilled, and will recommend Northborough Canine to anyone and everyone who will listen!Obviously every dog's situation is different, but we are a total success story. If you've been thinking of giving PT for your dog a try, this is 100% the place to do it.Thank you Susanne and team - you're the best! ❤️

There's no amount of words to describe how grateful I am for Susanne. I stumbled across her business on Google one day when I was so desperate to find help for my dog Hazel who I knew had a leg injury(and turned out she had two). Since day one I knew we were in good hands. Susanne's love and dedication for helping animals is so evident in her practice. While I could have jumped to TPLO surgery, I instead chose to treat these injuries the conservative way with physical therapy and supplements, and within a few months, Hazel is nearly back to her normal self. Overall, I'm so thankful for her and her wonderful staff and highly recommend her services! thank you for all you do :)

Susanne is remarkable. I have a senior dog with managed dysplasia who is limping unusually and have taken her to a number of vets to get that improved. Through massage and assessment, Susanne was able to determine that the problem was most likely neurological and not bone related. I was able to direct my dog's medical care as a result and she is doing much better. I am very grateful. Susanne is well known and respected in the vet community. I would highly recommend this facility.

I have to say that Northborough Canine Rehabilitation & Fitness Center is awesome. The staff has always been polite and professional. My pooch had an injury to his hip while playing. We brought him in for an evaluation and after just receiving four laser and massage treatments, he was back to his old self. Suzanne was EXCELLENT! She not only cares for the pets she treats but delivers a great service.

We decided to leave one of our dachshunds there while we went away for a week as he could not use his hind legs. Two days later they had him walking again, absolutely incredible. When we picked him up he had improved dramatically and we will continue to bring him for additional therapy. Couldn't have asked for anything better. I highly recommend them to anyone who cares about the well-being of their dogs. We send a heartfelt thank you to Susan and the entire staff.

What a difference for my Golden! He had hurt his rear leg and I started bringing him there to help heal and strengthen him. The love and care they have shown him and the expert care is just wonderful! He is coming back to his old perky self!! Thank you! So fortunate to have this place in our area!

I can't say enough good things about this place. My 12 year old mixed breed has dysplasia and was recently injured. My 16 year old Lab was having problems walking and having age related issues. Susanne and Kim have turned them around with their massage and laser therapies. Everyone is feeling so much better. My Lab is energetic in a way I never thought I would see again. They offer so many services such as a built in therapy pool, treadmill, grooming, nose work classes and training. Susanne's expertise is nothing short of amazing and everyone on the staff is deeply caring about the welfare of the dogs they help.
