I’ve been coming here for years. The parking situation is tough because of king street. The store is newly renovated and looks nice. It’s a smaller store so don’t expect a large variety. Often there is a good selection of things but other times very bare bones. It really depends on when you come to the store. I’ve gotten clothes for a wedding here that looked great. Some nice dish wear. A football. Some Christmas decorations. And 2 pairs of men’s shoes, as well as some art. Don’t expect to find treasure every time, but sometimes you get lucky. I’d recommend it to people who live near by.

There should be a notification noted indicating that this location is closed for renovations instead of leaving the hours of operation. Prior to the closing, the store was not well organized and someone dirty. Maybe the renovations will prove to be a step in the right direction. I suspect the prices will still remain quite high for a thrift store. Seems to be the direction of Goodwill. The CEO and upper echelon suits who pu well over 6 figure salaries have something to do with that.

Not a great thrift store. The men's section is bare, as in most thrift stores, but the real problem is that it is dirtier and has more expensive and lower quality clothes than any other thrift store I've seen. The service isn't so great either, from my experience, as staff is kind of impolite and not very available.

I like this GW because the stuff they have is pretty good! I can always find something good and I have items from here that were purchased years ago. Staff is friendly and helpful. Only downside is the clothes aren't sorted by size so it does take a lot of time to truly find something good.

the smallest and most boring Goodwill I’ve ever been to. really feels like a bare bones selection most of the time. they have some categories of items that other Goodwills have but they don’t at all (toys, stuffed animals, etc) which is very odd. mostly just junk and extremely overpriced for most items.

I just watched a young man with disabilities wait patiently for someone to come ring him out. When he finally tapped the service bell, a young woman yelled from the back “be right there”. 5 minutes went by, something broke in the back, and the woman came up from the back. The young man, with hearing aides, rang the bell again and this woman stopped, mid stride and stared at him with other customers in line. When she stopped, myself and another customer could smell marijuana on her. The young man didn’t see this happen. She was very rude when ringing him out. I’ve never seen such a rude interaction between customer and employee, especially a customer with disabilities .

The staff is very unfriendly. They don't have a very good selection. I think they keep it for themselves and used to be a very good store but in the last four to five last month has gone downhill. The one in Holyoke is way better the staff is way more friendly I came here one Sunday at 6:50 they told me the store was closed the website says it doesn't close to 7:30 they wouldn't let me in the store I'm not shopping here anymore.

Goodwill is no longer a cheap place to pick up clothing or household items as it used to be. For instance, used, bad condition tee shirts here are 4.99 , and rarely will you run across that vintage rock tee shirt that you're actually willing to pay $5 for. Most household items are so covered in dust/dirt you don't want to touch them. The employees here are less than cordial and they blast music so loud that you can't even enjoy browsing through the overpriced items... Ask them if they could turn it down and you get an attitude from the employees who don't work. I would recommend traveling across the bridge into Hadley and Amherst, prices are about the same but at least the stores/items are clean, and employees are not only helpful, they are pleasant as well

My daughter and I love to browse Goodwill whenever we can but we noticed that all the sizes are lumped in altogether now. We left the store. We are not happy with this new arrangement. I also noticed it at the Chicopee store. They told me they are under new management and things have changed. Well I can tell you that things have changed for the worse. We will not be back until this changes. Thank you.

Sizes all screwed up in place. You can't find your size if you don't have at least 2 hours to look for it. Don't waste your time there.Goodwill try to save labor time organizing the shelves but It takes the customers 2 or 3 trips to find what they need.Bad decision

Friendly atmosphere, prices you'd expect, decent second hand goods, and for those who are shy about being seen shopping, the location is tucked away from anyone, plenty of privacy. I shop there and have no trouble with anyone knowing I do, I live a very humble lifestyle

The Northampton Goodwill has gone to a ridiculous system, no longer hanging things by size. Waste of shopper's time and patience. I used to fill a loyalty card bi weekly, no more. There are other stores that care about their customer service enough to spend time sizing clothing...

I used to shop here, but they have gotten greedy! They have recently raised their prices so much, that you can get NEW items for the same price or cheaper at Walmart. I just love how the CEO's of this "non-profit" are making 6-figure salaries off of donations, minimum wage employees, and unpaid volunteers, all the while making items too expensive for the poor to afford anything in the store.Another thing, my friend and I were in there one day with her 3-4 year old son, who announced that he needed to use the bathroom. As most know, when a kid that age says they need to go, they mean NOW. We asked the manager if she could make an exception to the "No Public Restrooms" rule for the kid, and she said "no." Needless to say, we dropped everything, and walked him to around the side of the building, and had him urinate right on the building. It's hard to see them as a "charity" when they are willing to let a little kid pee his pants, just because.

Kind of strangely organized within depts: by price. Hard to find the plus-size clothes I was looking for.No furniture-- that was a disappointment.

It is a nice experience going to this particular Goodwill store. The manager is competent, friendly, fair and efficient. The goods come through all day so there is always something new to find!

I love goodwill stores, but this place is simply awful. It's not representative of the others. It's a big smelly mess. Nothing sorted, no order or method. No reason to go back, sadly.

This place should be called "Great Will". Its amazing. Sometimes I buy things I don't need (Lexi, for example), but that's my fault. Most of the items I've found there have been rediculous deals. Shop at GoodWill. Save money. Live better.

Consistently well organized. Friendly staff. Despite it's small size, you will find nice items here frequently. Pricing is quite reasonable, with frequent sales.

Good spot for second hand things. I like to shop whatever is half price. I have found my share of BR and the like clothes here. Good spot for kids jeans too.

Good buying experience, as luck will have it. Goodwill allows 14 day return (for store credit). Salvation Army doesn't FYI.

I donate clothes and household goods here regularly. Easy to drop off at the side door. They give you a blank receipt to fill in yourself. 😉
