We are her last week, I got the French dip roast beef sandwich and it was very good. Prices were reasonable and service was good too. We didn’t have to wait for a seat and the food didn’t take too long to come. The kids liked the toy train that passes by once in a while. My only negative comment would be a few time we got these big wafts of cigarette smoke. I think someone was smoking outside and it was coming in. Other than that it was good

Several generations of clients have been praising Bluebonnet diner for it's great food, hearty service and warm atmosphere. This is by all means a classic diner with all the classic menu items. The locomotive theme is topped by an electric train that spans around one of the spaces and kept kids entertained. Not too many Vegetarian or vegan options other than the well known pancakes or 2-egg-any-style options. Restrooms and free parking are available. This place can get busy so you may need to wait before being seated.

This classic New England Diner has an extensive menu and a railroad theme. We ordered pierogi, blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup, open faced turkey sandwich and a burger with fries and onion rings and it was all excellent and very reasonably priced. Out server had character and we really enjoyed her.Vegetarian options: The pierogis were excellent with onions and peppers, they have salads and pancakes, waffles and other possible dishes for veggie people.

This little antique diner was certainly a wonderful experience for our family. This is an old fashioned, American diner experience that I have had yet to find here in Massachusetts. Things don't happen instantaneously, we sat in the old side and the original everything was wonderful and charming. It's not brand new and blemish free. It's beautiful and old and has character. They make your food to order and it takes a little time that is well worth it. If you appreciate a true diner then this is the place for you. I carefully read the reviews before coming here and am very glad that I didn't let the fussy ones keep me away. Our server Tina was a golden gem and completely made my whole day. We were treated like we were old regulars, in the best way possible and we will definitely be back! Thanks so much!Kid-friendliness: It's very family friendly.

Another reason to dislike “progress.” The more I visit these neighborhood diners, the more irritated I become at how they are disappearing from my home town. I loved this place. The waitress was friendly and smiling. That small town hospitality that is missing from cities like Boston, Philadelphia and New York. I even cracked a little joke to the owner and we had a good little chuckle.

Go there hungry because they give large portions! Fried chicken sandwich really hit the spot too. Fast service. Daily specials and breakfast is served all day!

My husband and I went here for the first time last week. The atmosphere is very 1950's charming, and the wait staff were attentive despite being understaffed that day. The best part of going here was the food! They'd serve old school dishes and homeade pie, and their vegetables were amazing. We are definitely going back, the food was incredible.

Loved the ambience and the food. Good old diner feel. Fast prompt service. Only thing was slow to pick up the check. Fries were great! Not generic like alot of places.Kid-friendliness: Have a train running at times in the upper ceiling area. Grandson loved that

We stopped here for a late breakfast. You can't get in the front door but there is a ramp on the left side that gets you into the bar section and then you can access the diner area. The booths are big and not too clean. Our table top was pretty gross. We both had eggs and mine was well cooked and delicious. My wife had eggs over medium and they were under cooked. I had eggs Benedict Irish style with corned beef hash instead of canadien bacon. It was good. The hollandaise sauce was well done and the eggs poached to perfection. The home fries were well cooked but super salty. The coffee is good and plentiful. The wait staff spends a lot of time yaking behind the counter and it affects their attentiveness to the diner. A request for creamer went ignored. All in all if you like diners this diner will not disappoint.Wheelchair accessibility: The front door is not accessible but they have a ramp on the side that can get you inside through the bar. The ramp is covered.

Great Diner in Northampton! Bit of a wait for a table and for food to come out but the staff were very upfront about the times and well worth the wait.Food was great, poached eggs done to perfection and the raspberry swirl pancakes had the great combo of fluffy interior and just a little bit of crispiness on the outside.

The food here was really good. I started with the chili and was a little skeptical. It came out with a slice of processed American cheese on it but it turned out to be very flavorful. The cole slaw was creamy and tasty also. I had the chicken parm sandwich and found it to be very flavorful also. The fries were weak but passable. I'm glad I stopped.

During weekdays it's usually not crowded, weekends very busy place. Food quality is acceptable, traditional home made style. Prices are average to pricey depending on market prices most likely. Great place for family reunions and meeting up with friends. Not recommended if you are going to eat by yourself. My favorite thing about Bluebonnet Dinner is Breakfast Served All Day😍The only thing I am excited for to try is thee lobster salad, I was told it's good and huge.

Soooooo much bigger than I ever thought. I have lived in the same town for 35 years and have never ate here until now. Whatttt? Crazy, I know... so worth it. It's a fun, down-home, Happy Days diner feel and look. It's roomy, bright, with a great atmosphere. I'm definitely going back. If you can't find something to order on their menu, then you must not read?! 😁🤣🤣

Bland, tasteless, pancakes. Some of the saddest/thinnest pieces of bacon I've ever seen. Undercooked, rubbery sausages. Skimpy portioning overall: for the price point of their traditional bfast combo, any other diner would provide toast+home fries with the combo- not here. Also ordered a breakfast sandwich and they charged a dollar extra for putting it on bulkie roll, without warning? Stay away. Combination of skimpy portions/low quality and penny pinching tactics leaves a bad taste in your mouth for the money shelled out. Stay Away.

A diner in the front and a party in the back. You can choose to sit in the actual original Worcester Diner with (very) upright wooden booths and chromed counter stools or in the main dining room, with tables, booths, and many many persons who enjoy a good fruit cup. There's the bar room, which is convenient if you want to watch someone make your drink, and also has a TV, in case you like to watch Bar Rescue while you trust that the Bluebonnet's bar back and kitchen will never appear on that program. The whole place has a low-key railroad theme. There's a big, very basic function hall attached too. That's the party part. The menu is broad and features all the usual diner fare. The food we had was good, and we enjoyed the banter among staff and regulars as we ate. We did not have cocktails, since we were there for breakfast and lunch. The wait staff are perfect for a diner; attentive, friendly and range from hometown young women and guys who've grown up working there to a batch of blondes who have been serving up eggs and club sandwiches for decades. They probably know what you're going to order when hey see you walk through the door.My only cavil is the chilly the air conditioning in the dining room - brrr. But, Mom always warned us to take a sweater! We recommended the Bluebonnet.Kid-friendliness: Fine for kids, although running through the dining room (never acceptable) could result in a disastrous tangle of small legs and walkers at certain early dinner hours.Wheelchair accessibility: There are many folks who eat here and use mobility assistance.
