I go there all the time. Because it is near where I live. And their prices are always good. This store is one of the smaller stores. So there is always a section that is being changed. I always go there first. During the pandemic, they added a dollar to every purchase to give to the employees. And they now have an hour on Mondays for seniors. They can get a discount. They also have CRAZY DEALS where if you buy a certain item, they give you a crazy deal card worth a certain price to be use at another time to purchase items. And when there was a change shortage, they offered a certain percentage over the amount of change that you brought in.I have been going there for years.

Nice change of pace from same old chain store. Originally stopped to get an idea for furniture sets on my way to Springfield however, found everything I was looking for right there! The employee in the furniture dept was very friendly, knowledgeable about the products and went above and beyond to help. He was instrumental in my saving a lot of $$!!

I like shopping at big lots . but today we went they have a paper that state dr paper 3 for 13 when we went to the cashier we let her know about the discount she went to see and still didn't give us the discount because it wasan old sign it was their faul not yo take it out but we have to put it back and no apology about .

I bought items worth $300.00+.Takisha was the young lady who did my transactions. She was extremely cordial, professional, and courteous. She even helped bring a cart to put my items after payment. Great prices even better when they have their regular 20% off store wide sales. And FREE quality paper bags with handles yet. Take note, neighboring Big Y! Staff exceptionally friendly and seem to be close with each other. Only wish they would stop asking if I want their Rewards Card.

Good stuff. However, I didn’t receive the discounts promised and the biggest issue was having all the employees glaring and following me and my teen around the store. They did a terrible job acting like secret shoppers and made us feel very uncomfortable. For that alone, I will not visit the store anymore. I’ll go to Walmart instead which is right next door.

The last couple times I visited, I was met with the most helpful, and kind employees. They offered assistance without being asked. I will definitely being shopping here more. Might not have as many options, but definitely have great products at great prices.

Nice place to go for many things! My wife loves the coconut oil here as it is so much cheaper than most places! They have a nice assortment of snacks including veggie snacks! We've bought bedding items here and had great results with them! They have a nice furniture department at reasonable prices! Great seasonal items for the home! They offer a toy dept and housewares including pet food! A little bit of everything here at good prices and clerks are very friendly!

Found and priced main item I needed on their website first, the located it and some other items quite easily in store. They've recently done some rearranging of floor and registers, but it's quite easy to navigate. Provided nice paper bag with handles, which I will reuse.

Staff are nice, sometimes not quick at checkout, but are all pleasant. Some products sold should be considered before purchasing, some electrical items I've purchased although very inexpensive suddenly stopped working... But mostly worth the few of days of use considering the inexpensive price...

Had to bring back damaged chairs, didn't notice until we had them home. We were willing to keep them with a decent discount, but they only offered 20% off. I've seen better sales on perfect items. We didn't take them.

I like most of the prices. Especially during sales. Just bought a side here.. let's see how it goes. 2 months now and so far no complaints. My location could be a lot cleaner. When I leave my hands are always a few shades gray and I can not stop sneezing.. only reason not a 5 star.

They do have a pretty wide selection. Some of the aisles are a bit tight when you meet another cart coming the other way. Hadn't been in many years but enjoyed it

Check them out! You'll find they have better quality stuff than most box stores and local shops. I found outdoor broyhill furniture and it is great and easy to put together.

I used to give it up 5 star. Now the old help that made the store friendly Are gone for some reason And it doesn't feel the same. It makes you wonder why. Not all products are price marked, No one want to stop and price check on a machine or Clerk. So I swung over to Walmart.

It's cheap which is why one would shop there. Most of the electronic stuff breaks within a day or is already broken when purchased. But it's a great place to buy cleaning products and toilet paper for super cheap.

Good and cheap. Everything for the home on a tight budget, from health and beauty, to groceries, to bedding, kitchen gadgets, electronics and furniture. There's a surprisingly large selection of Bob's Red Mill products, as well. A few clothing items, pet supplies and toys, and seasonal surprises. If you need to pick up something for the house, it never hurts to check here first.

Good for most things. Beware of the furniture 0% financing, there are hidden fee's. As with much advertising here in the US , its false and they get away with it. .. Other than that good deals. Great for dishes , pots , pans, small kitchen appliances. .Furniture though is right on par with avg. price, and I don't think its 'close out' stuff. Its just a brand making stuff for them.

Some things in the freezer weren't even marked so we didn't buy them because it wasn't worth the effort trying to track someone down tk price check them. The things that were marked in the cooler were marked incorrectly. I grabbed a gallon of whole milk from one of two full shelves marked $2.49 and it rang up as $3.49. When i asked the manager was very snotty about it and stated that was the price for 1/2 gallons (like I should automatically know when the only price sticker on the shelves says $2.49)when i pointed out there were no half gallons on either one of the full shelves she pulled the price stickers off the shelves and said they had no 1/2 gallons of full milk....thats cool and all but I'm not the one who incorrectly marked BOTH shelves stocked FULL of whole gallon milksCashier was nice .still not going to go out of my way to go there esp since i want less than cordial customer service walmart is right next door

Good deals on varying things, they have a lot of cheap makeup, discounted food, and beauty items, and they have a large selection of sectional furniture and mattresses available in store with financing available. Wish they had a public bathroom.

Came here yesterday to purchase a $700 fireplace. After i purchased the fire place i was told to wait out front to have it loaded. A single gentleman heavyset and balding rolled out my fire place and proceeded to say we could load it because there was more than one of us and offered no assistance which resulted in us dropping the 200 pound box as it was raining and wet and the box ripped. Before he would let us attempt to load the fireplace he told me he needed my receipt to check out the unit which was confusing as if assume it would be done before loading and standing in the rain. After loading the unit I waited for the gentleman to bring back the receipt and noticed about 5 minutues had passed. I looked thru the front window to see the man ringing out customers instead of brining my receipt back out to me. I knocked on the window and he looked at me and nodded his head. After about another 10 minutues an older lady named Janice emerged with the receipt and told me the man was busy and he sent her out with it. This kind woman had no bussiness being out side in the cold rain so her lazy co worker could stay warm and ring inside. Im disgusted in this man's customer service skills as well as his moral compass to send a lady that I could call my mother out in that weather without a coat. After all is said and done I spent 3 hours assembling this beautiful fireplace and I'm pleased but the customer service from that worker was awful.

Always something to look at and buy at a pretty good price at Big Lots. From groceries to furniture to outdoor Gazebo's...always something fun to look at here. And my wife always seems to find something to buy when we go there😁
