This review is for grooming at the North Reading location. Chela (hope that's spelled right!) did an absolutely amazing job with our wild and wiggly chocolate lab. She not only did a great job with the dog, she made us feel very comfortable leaving our fur baby. Strongly recommend!!!

I used to work at Petco Woburn As a dog groomer. And then I found a location closer to home in North Reading and the prices are amazing. The stores always clean. And we offer self wash and walk in nail trims.

large variety of goods, with high quality products. Although I was only able to find 1 of the 4 things I was looking for so selection could be better. My main reason for going was the self serve dog wash: overall design of the self-wash area is better than some, worse than others. Pros: they have 2 large dog and 1 small dog bays along a wall with a solid partition between. they have a nice step up to the wash and the wall is just a 3-4 inch lip so it's a million times easier to get my large Great Pyrenees (who HATES getting bathed) into than those stainless steel tubs with the tiny opening, super long and narrow ramp, and very high side walls. they had adjustable ties with clips with two spots to clip to so you can flip back and forth to get both sides. I also liked that they had a wall blow dryer in each bay. They do provide towels and products. I appreciate that it's just a big stack of towels rather than just handing you 1-2. I can't speak to the quality of the products since I bring my own. The biggest draw for me is definitely the operating hours, much more flexible than other places. Cons: other than the wash bays themselves there is no separation between the spaces which makes it really hard to find a time to go since my dog isn't friendly with most other dogs. I was kind of surprised at how "run down" it was for the store being so new: one of the water hoses was broken, the hanger for the blow dryer was broken in the other, and it was clearly not cleaned between dogs (there was tons of fur in the wash stall). There was only one trash can on one side and no hamper so the used towels were just a big pile on the floor. As for the design, with my dog being so large it's easier to move myself than move him around so I much prefer the stalls with access on both sides, but I'll take this over those horrible stainless steel tubs every time so it's a decent trade off for me. It would be nice if the bottom of the wash stall had a raised matt of something so that the bottom isn't super wet while you're trying to dry them off.

Good size store with a wide selection of Pet necessities. Has area for pet bathing/grooming also. Finally a pet store close by, open daily with inventory stocked.

What are your hours???????I went this evening at 8:09 PM.Doors locked,lights on,no one up front.OK.No one on or someone is ill.This is the 2nd time this has happened.PLEASE post hours that reflect when you ARE open?Very annoying.Currently lists 9AM - 9PM for Tuesdays.

Good store to stop on for food, or other necessities. Not the widest selection, but decent variety for things like food and treats. Sometimes you have to wait for the staff to come operate the register.

I started going here because my local petco was closed for an extended amount of time. I may keep going here because it just doesn’t feel as big box store as petco.
