Erica went above and beyond assisting me with my 6 month old Golden Retriever, Hank! Erica informed me of all the training options available & set up communication with the trainer for further instructions. In addition, Erica set Hank up with a whole new fit, including: a front/back clip harness to prevent pulling AND two awesome 4ft leads for training and free walks. She even implemented new ways to redirect Hank’s bad boy behaviors like jumping. I left the store a happy owner & Hank left with a belly full of treats! (P.S As a retail manager, it feels great to know others are doing their part in the field!) I really appreciate the time and effort she gave towards me and my dog. We are excited to come back for our first training class!

We live nearby, and love our Petco, they have everything we need for all of our pets, especially our dogs. The rewards build up and discounts can be used. Definitely worth it. Staff is always nice and helpful, seem to be all animal lovers like us. Here's a couple friends of yours who appreciate all the treats and healthy food. Little Pomsky girl is Juno and our GS is a female named Liebe. We love the fact that the store is right down the street, but would drive to another Petco if ours was closed. Thank you!!

This is a decent Petco location. They restock pretty frequently, but it seems they are always short on employees so restocking appears slow and inconsistent. I was also told the pallets do not come pre-sorted. Headquarters just sends massive packages that need sorting once they get to the store, then the rest of the restocking process occurs, so it ends up being much slower for the employees. This location also has a groomer and trainer. I know the trainer here is very good having seen many happy people interacting with her while I have been in the store.

This Petco covers the basics. They seem to have fewer animals for sale than other Petco stores I have visited. They have all of the other supplies you could want for anything from reptiles to rodents.It was a bit dirty and disorganized when I was there, but it was at the end of the day.Parking is free.

This place is poorly run. They have on more than one occasion just canceled our grooming appointments with zero notice and then trying to lie and say they informed us. I have nothing but an email reminding me of the appointment 3 days prior and nothing of a cancellation. When they do groom my dog they do it in 30 minutes which as many people would agree is not enough time to properly bathe, trim, and groom a long-haired dog. They are frequently closed during business hours with no posted reason.

My recent opinion of Petco they are not honoring their discounts they are not treating people with respect because they are closing they are being rude unprofessional the stories dirty they're not cleaning up anything after the animals they jacked up their prices and then telling you it's a deal when it's not avoid Petco in North Andover before they close they are turned into a horrible store so they don't even get four stars they so they don't even get four stars they don't a good review they need to be closed now they need to shut down because they're unprofessional and their staff except for one girl who was just news the last one higher there and she goes above and beyond to help the customers but everybody else just sucks

Store clerk in north andover, ma store tried to sell me an $80 tick collar for my dogSaid they would match lowest price for same collar if i showed him the price on my phone. He said i could probably find one for $60 online and they would match that. Didn't tell me about $10 collar on store shelf... shady...sleazy..Too expensive.

This is the only Petco my family will go to! We have great conversation and the customer service is impeccable! Leslie, Rhona and a young man forgive me I can't remember his name...either way we look forward to shopping at THIS Petco!!! The pic is our friendly little mice habitat. They are hiding :)

This is not directed at any Petco directly. Up until now I shopped at Petco weekly. I bought a 40 gallon tank and glass cover at the beginning of March( February 26 and March 10) to be exact. I understand Petco has a 30 day refund policy. However life happens. I have been trying to return the items for about a week now. They refuse. Four different locations, two calls to customer service and now this review. I have both receipts and both items are still in the original packaging. I am perfectly fine with a store credit. This experience has left such a sour taste in my mouth and I will no longer be shopping at Petco.

Last time we stopped in here it was a hot mess. It smelled like urine, there were unpacked shipping boxes everywhere, and they were out of everything we were looking for. I’m guessing this is due to staffing shortages, but there are other pet stores near by-ish that I’ll visit in the future.

I’ve tried to go to this location twice in the past 2 months during the middle of the day and they’re closed. Currently they’re closed for 5 days and have only posted a note on their door, their hours on google still have them listed as open. Will not be wasting my time in the future driving to this location when I have no idea if they’ll actually be open.

Compared to other Petcos.. this place is subpar.. it smells as soon as you walk in the door.They always have pallets of stock on the floor as if nothing is ever put away after hours.. the store manager obviously needs some education to learn how to whip this store into shape..

This store is ALWAYS closed on random days. And when they are open the store is a mess and there’s palettes of stock all over the aisles, so disorganized. I understand they’re understaffed but closing the store down periodically is so frustrating.

Erika was amazing! I came in when they were already closed (jerk move) but Erika was still very friendly! She even did a price match & got me $15 off my purchase!! Super friendly staff, will come back to this location for all my pets needs! Thanks Erika 🙂

Great experience! Brought our dog for grooming, first visit, and was very pleased! Jaymel, was the groomer and she was just so sweet, helpful & knowledgeable. Price was reasonable and they were timely when we arrived for our appointment. Great job! We'll be back!

I love petco however they have been short on dog food. Seems as though the shelves are pretty bare. I did find the food I needed...luckily I found it on a stock person's cart. Prices are continously on the rise...I can't be the only one noticing the price increase and the smaller bags!!! I may be looking into making my own dog food soon. I have a Great Dane and his food is costing a fortune!!

I was SHOCKED by the condition of this Petco. I've never gone into a Petco and been appalled. The smell is unacceptable. There's barely anything in stock and the fish and aquatic animals, when properly maintained, they do not smell. Aggressive fish houses together, while empty tanks all around Disgrace. Never again. Being understaffed is not an accuse for any animal to have to suffer.

The staff was very helpful here when picking out accessories for my new additions to my family. It's very convenient to get here as it is right off a main road. Large parking area along with Walgreens Pharmacy right in the same lot. I also want to give a great thanks to the store manager who I spoke with for about 10 minutes the day before making my purchases. He was very informative and helpful to me. He aided in my final decision.

Great service! Every time I shop here the staff is fantastic, very knowledgeable, kind, helpful, and always make my kids feel like they aren’t being too much with all of their questions. Had one of my hamsters cages not go together right when we got home after buying it and we got back just before they were closing, not even an ounce of an attitude from anyone in changing it out they were amazing so kind making sure we were all set getting a new one right away. Would highly recommend this store.
