Amazing pet store if you care about quality products for your fur babies. They have a huge range of amazing quality treats and food. I used to have to ship from amazon because they were the only ones to carry the food i buy for my dog without waiting weeks for it but now all it takes is a short 5 min drive! I’m so happy i found a store with my favorite brands!

Through the fault of the supplier and the fact human eyes aren't perfect I wound up with I guess is pantry worms in the cupcake I bought for my friends dog. I left a review yesterday and they quickly quickly messaged me to apologize and make it right which they went above and beyond to do so. Both Jayne and the guy behind the counter were very nice and apologetic and they definitely won me back as a costumer. Accidents happen

I’m so happy I was recommended to this place ! The man at the front (sorry for forgetting your name) took the time to explain to me the benefits of switching my pup from kibble to a raw diet when I inquired about it after purchasing some other supplies, which I appreciated and am happy to get my pup on a much better quality and healthier diet. He also provided me with informative reference sheets to take home. Super friendly staff and my dog seemed to enjoy all the treats and people in there! I noticed the prices were even cheaper than what I've seen at Petsmart (where I used to shop).

This store has changed my dogs life I met with the owners sonHe was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. My dog is deaf from over treating his ears, and chronic ear infections. He put me on a raw diet Mr Meat and a probiotic. My dogs ears are clear, his eye stains are gone. He walks better as well I recommend this store to anyone who owns a cat or dog

This local pet store is amazing. I first went here when none of the big box stores had my dogs favorite chew bone. This place had it in stock and had a much bigger selection of quality chew treats than I've ever seen at those chain stores. No need to waste your time at the big box stores wondering if a certain treat is actually good for your pet these guys know what they are doing and have done the searching for you.

I ran out of food for my pups and stumbled upon Dawg City on my way to another pet supply store, and haven't looked back since. These people are trained professionals who truly know all about their product lines, and they're all so friendly to boot! They provided lots of samples of all kinds of foods and worked with me to find the best fit for my pups. With an outstanding selection of food, toys, and many other supplies coupled with great prices, I'll never go to another pet store again!

This is an awesome little store with A LOT to choose from. Don't be fooled by the size, it was better stocked than the dog sections of big pet stores.Brought in my Frenchie for a new harness and they had an entire wardrobe-type closet to pick through. Also have TONS of toys and all natural chew toys like bully sticks etc. Everyone was super nice, this will be my new go-to store for all my supplies.

I'd probably rate it closer to a 4.5*A nice welcome to the area where there are plenty of needy dog owners. For such a small place, they pack as much into it as they can, without making it look like a mess.They have toys for little dogs, bit dogs, nibblers, and heavy chewers. Food, toys, treats, accessories, grooming, etc...I've seen lowers prices at other places, but it's pretty competitive and I like it better than the big stores, unless you're looking for bulk products.Kind and helpful people working there.

Many thanks are in order for Dawg City for their knowledge, kindness and patience. Where do I begin? I begin with a very sick Black Lab puppy with 5 months of constant diarrhea after a terrible bout of Giardia accompanied by ear infections, itching and scratching and horrible yeast. After countless vet visits and medications, dog foods, I was ready to throw the towel in. I felt hopeless for my beautiful puppy. Thankfully someone told me that Jane could help me. She and her wonderful staff designed the correct diet for this poor puppy. Within a day of switching her to raw food and supplements she was already turning the corner. A miracle in my in estimation! In November as the holidays approached, my only Christmas wish was for a healthy puppy and solid poop!! All my prayers have been answered. Thank you a million times over!! My girl is gorgeous and healthy!

They carry top tier products such as Zignatures and Orijen and it is a great place for emergency runs if you feed your pets these products. Owner is super nice and it is always nice to support local pet businesses!*Edit- After reading the response, the owners were correct about competitive price regarding premium dog dry food and I redacted it.

People are great and so nice BUT they over price the products wayyyy too much. I found my dogs brushless teeth cleaning treats for HALF the price of what they sell it for at whole foods which isn’t cheap either. I understand it’s a small business but making a product double the price is a little insane.

Dawg City is amazing and Jayne, Brandi, and staff couldn’t be more helpful. At the time our 1.5 year old lab had vomited once per month for 3 straight months after licking the floor incessantly. The first time it was so bad, and I’m not talking about just vomiting and being done. I was so concerned I took him to the vet. 2 more episodes later a good friend pointed us to Dawg City. While it took a few months for Jayne to fine tune the diet, almost immediately the horrible vomiting stopped. One year later (today), Cooper, has not had a vomiting episode. We completely trust Dawg City with all of Coopers nutrition. He’s 2.5 year old Black Lab weighing 65 pounds and looks amazing.

I'm assuming this is where Pippin actually came from because there's a picture of him on the site. Anyway, Pippin was the greatest dog I ever had. He was incredibly friendly and he loved me very much. Every day was simply a joy to be around him. I fed him with a baby bottle until he could eat food I chewed up in my mouth. Then he graduated to regular food. He slept in my bed every night for 5 years. He was my best friend, and I miss him very much.

I recently went to the one in North Andover and had a good experience. My 7 year old dog had her first UTI. I had a very busy few weeks ahead and wanted to get on top of treatment. Both women were very helpful. I purchased Super Snouts berry blend and after a week her urine was blood free and she was no longer marking everywhere. I will continue maintenance with this product and found it to be a huge help not just for my dog but financially as well!

The store was overcrowded, I could barely make it through the aisles. The staff was not helpful or friendly. The kid with the glasses, who seems to be the owner's son, just looked at me and carried on. I urge you to save your time and energy and look elsewhere for a pet store. Pet supplies in Haverhill is way better.

As a dog sitter, I see quite a few dogs that are fed food that is terrible for them (and the owners, of course, do not know!). Nutrition is critical to health (human and animal), and the staff at Dawg City know their stuff (better than most vets I've encountered). If you want your dog to experience optimal health, get yourself to this treasure of a place!

Dawg city is the only place i will go to get my dog's things. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. My dog is a very picky eater and he refuses most food. They have given me tons of samples to try so i dont have to waste money trying everything and then finding out he doesnt like it. We have finally found a brand he likes and now he is eating regularly. Without all of their knowledge and assistance i could not have done this without wasting a fortune on stuff he hates. I would highly recommend any dog owner in the area to go straight to dawg city for all your pet needs. Everything is high quality and they actually really do care about our pets!!

Although the owner might talk about “roofing issue”, it was really the attitude of these people. All they care about is the bottom line and I would not recommend going there unless you want to be shooed out of the store. Very disappointed

This is one of those small, family owned businesses where they get to know you. Every time we go in, they recognize us and call our doggy by her name :)Each staff member is as friendly and helpful as the next. They are also very knowledgeable and offer sound advice when propmpted. They have a huge variety of foods, beds, toys, collars, etc. ALOT of merchandise to choose from.

I went to Dawg City for the first time last week and wanted to talk to someone who could help with my dog's allergies and ongoing ear infections. Great place for shopping for Cat food and toys too.My kitties liked the "Chicken Crunchies" from Sun Dog Snacks and the "Sliden' Serve -Pata'-" from Weruva Int. Along with the YeoWWW! Catnip Toy, they snached off the desk. I hope you can add "Natural Chemistry, Waterless Bath" from Muntech Products to your extensive selection...(see Photos).
