We are so thrilled to have found Kendra. She is so great with Hugo & Victor, making them feel comfortable and giving them super cuts. In the past, they were afraid to be groomed but for the first time seemed comfortable and happy to be there. It was great to have such personal attention. The salon is clean and quiet and perfect to leave your fur friends. The cuts look great and she even cleans their teeth! North Adams has a great groomer. We are very lucky!

We have been going to Kendra at Give A Dog A Bath in North Adams, MA monthly for a year now.I cant say enough about her work and her friendly personality.My Aussie Scarlett comes out looking wonderful every visit.Kendra and her grooming salon Give a Dog a Bath earn another 5 ⭐️ review. My 15 month old Aussie pup loves it there. Full SPA treatment every monthly visit. Scarlett looks so good, well groomed after todays visit. Thank you Kendra.

Our dog, a rescue, has chronic issues with dry/sensitive skin due to an immune system deficiency. We brought her to GaDaB for a grooming session and I can’t overstate how pleased we are with the results. Kendra immediately connected with our pup who in turn seemed to trust her implicitly. She was knowledgeable, patient and gentle, but also thorough and fast to boot! Our doggy was treated to a bath, an exfoliating scrub, a soothing balm AND had her nails clipped- all in barely over an hour! When Kendra had finished, our pup was sporting a sleek, shiny coat and smelled fantastic. That said, the most profound difference was the condition of her skin: the previously rough, cracked patches on her neck and belly were significantly softer and less inflamed. This wasn’t just a cosmetic improvement either- upon bringing her home, we noticed she was worrying at those problem areas much less frequently, and she seemed to be more relaxed in general.Apparently, a visit to Kendra was just what our sweet girl needed! We now plan to return regularly, and we highly recommend her services to anyone seeking a friendly, skilled groomer who will tailor the experience to your pet’s needs while keeping them calm and comfortable throughout. Give a Dog a Bath did just that, but it also gave us peace of mind. If you’re in search of a top notch groomer, look no further!

Because of the pandemic, it was hard to get a grooming appointment for our mini Aussie (Bailey) but Kendra returned my call, spent a lot of time explaining her process to me and was able to fit us in. She was on time, clearly explained her COVID procedures and was super friendly. She called me when he was done and when we picked him up, he looked and smelled great. I feel like Kendra took the time to make Bailey feel comfortable. She’s very knowledgeable about grooming all different kinds of dogs. Her prices were reasonable too. Will definitely go back.

This was the first grooming experience for my 6 year old dog. Kendra was excellent with him and he looks gorgeous. She spent time with him to give him confidence and security to him. Excellent experience today and I would highly recommend her. We will definitely go back there again. Loved this experience and Kendra too.

September 26th, 2021There is not enough space given to write about Kendra at give a dog a bath (north Adams Ma)I was home in the Berkshires and my Westie needed to be groomed and because of her age and disability not to mention I groom her the traditional Westie way another local groomer referred me to Kendra's spaI emailed her and told her my concerns and Lizzie's disabilities and upcoming surgery and was hoping Kendra could help me!I left my information and within a half hour she called me personally! Kendra spoke to me for an hour after she stated she wasn't taking on new clients and I could be put on a waiting list she took the time to go over her way and her experience as a groomer and explained her speciality in elderly dogs and her knowledge and education in skin care regarding a healthier happy fur babyI explained she was having surgery to remove a tumor and she recommended having the surgery first and that she could spruce up my Lizzie with a bath and nail trim and neaten around her face and create one of her special skin soothing oils to keep the site sanitized and moisturized! I was blown away with the time and care she gave me and I have not met her or signed on as a new client yetKendra Is thoughtful, caring, and passionate about her career and her clients!She has an exstensive background in alll aspects of dog a skin car she is more than a groomer to me!I was impressed and taken a back by her compassion time and effort she took with me.Her Website is amazing and very thorough and she will work with your vet and keep in contact with them regarding issues she thinks is necessary to discuss with you and your vet!I live in Boston and I am on her wait list and will travel 3 hours to bring Lizzie to her.I finally had the pleasure of meeting Kendra after she made her special post surgery skin treatment plus she gave me a leave in skin/ Tic conditioner to use along with my doggie dry shampoo and went over how to use it and the benefits again made by her!I then talked about my sisters dog skin allergies and my niece's dog who has rough pads again blown away with her knowledge and her own line of handmade cream for cuts a skin irritations not even knowing either of themI can go on and onAbout Kendra at Give a dog a bathI have never ever come across a groomer with the heartfelt knowledge and care Kendra has AGAIN she is more then a groomerIf your ever in the Berkshires and in need of services or even one of her special products please call her you won't be sorry!Kendra gave me a special deal just for giving her a call and I'd like to say her spray for Lizzies surgical site was amazing and her skin was perfect and healed beautifully and she smelled amazingI'm glad my fur baby is on her waiting list she is worth the waitKendra your the best thank youHope yo see u soon!Wendy RichardHanson, MaProducts used:Leave in tic/ conditioning sprayPost surgical disenfecting soray

Kendra is exactly the kind of business owner I am always thrilled to meet. Beyond being a very caring and organized business operator, she offers so much support and enthusiasm for puppy raising. Kendra explained various conditions particular to our new pup, and was encouraging about keeping her cool and well groomed between appointments. I can not compliment her enough, I am tickled to have her in our life.But really who cares what I think? Our lil dog loves her and looks like a million bucks. BOOM. It everything. Five stars.

While my dog, Big Pawpi, was in for his regular grooming appointment, Kendra noticed a sore on his paw. It was barely visible to the naked eye but our fur baby had been licking the area and whimpering some for about a week prior to his grooming appointment. I couldn't figure out what the issue was but Kendra saw it right away. She gave me a little triple oil product that she had been using at her shop and, within just a few days, the sore was completely healed and my baby was feeling better. It was like magic!

Our chihuahua can be difficult to interact with, most of the time. Grooming, in the past, had been quite an ordeal. But Kendra has a way with him, which has which has made grooming less stressful for him. He always leaves his appointment happy, handsome and smelling amazing. I couldn’t have been more pleased with how great my two Border Collies looked after their grooming appointment with Kendra. She took the time to listen to what their needs were, and equally important their personalities, so that they would have a positive experience. Gypsy is retired but Zeva still goes to “work” in the barn with the sheep every day and having a spa appointment just made them both look and feel like ladies again! I was blown away by the one on one care that Kendra gave not only my two dogs but to me as well! She is well knowledged in her field of grooming as well as the care and acknowledgment of the animals and their needs. One of my dogs is arthritic and Kendra took extra care to make sure she never suffered by giving her breaks in between washing and cutting. From the hands on care to the updated text when she was half way done, I was blown away by her services! I will recommend her again and again to everyone I know!

Last night my dads 100lb dog got sprayed by a skunk. After scrubbing her all night and still dealing with the intense smell he gave Give a Dog a Bath a call this morning for some advice. The owner was very knowledgeable and gave advice, reasoning and products at a great price. After just one bath with her products the smell has lifted and become very faint already. Thank you! He’s going to continue to use the products but it’s such a relief to have the problem basically fully fixed so quickly. Dad and dog are very happy.

We took our GoldenDoodle to Kendra at “Give A Dog A Bath “ for the first time today She did an amazing job !! Not only was “ Charlotte “ sparkly clean but her coat was so soft & mats on her side gone ! She spent time showing us how to prevent matting, & brush effectively.I would highly recommend her !! We will definitely be going back !

I brought my dog to this groomer twice when she first opened and was very pleased with the quality of his grooming and attention. It seemed that when the pandemic restrictions were starting to open up there were many more hoops and rules regarding an appointment. I was told to go on line to download applications and other paperwork. It was clear that the intent was for me to sign up for a regular schedule to bring the dog in on a monthly or bi- monthly schedule. I filled out 3 pages of paperwork with my first and second days of choice. I never heard back but again called myself and unless I could commit to rotating Tuesdays I was not able to be helped. As I work full time this was not possible. I was disappointed that there was no effort to get the dog in for a one time bath and grooming. It seemed like if I was not interested in signing up for several committed appointments I could not be helped.

I can see why she has a waiting list of hopeful clients ... she bent over backwards to get us in until she had permanent spots for my 3 babies so be patient its worth the wait.... my pups absolutely LOVE going to see her and why wouldn't they she is so kind and plays with them before she starts her work with them , gives them as many breaks as needed and never pushes them ❤.... I 100% trust her and any suggestions she has for my babies ... she is incredibly knowledgeable about the science that goes into a good groom and her education and experience glows and shines bright ... I can't tell you how ecstatic I am that we happened to stumble upon her business heck she even gave me grooming tips until we could get into see her ....
