Big Y has come a long way over the years, and I have to give them a lot of credit. In certain areas, they really knock it out of the park. They make a strong effort to have as many local products as possible, for example, and I like that I'll often find unique things to buy here. They also have a really great food service department and their made to order subs are excellent and well-priced.That said, the store is smaller than the other grocery store in town, so I find often that the selection of some products suffers. Pricing does tend to be a little higher (on average) than the competition as well - but not dramatically so. As a result, rather than being my primary store I find that I stop at Big Y more for smaller trips or for the unique products I can't get elsewhere.

Store Manager Anthony is so thoughtful and goes above and beyond to show how this team cares. This location is the best Big Y I have ever been in and I travel lots.Whenever on the area I make a point of stopping on because I prefer this stores quality and pride.Ii especially love and greatly appreciate the two gentleman who command the sushi area.Amazing would not be a big enough compliment. This is actually above restaurant quality. I have eaten sushi from many places and this is five star. What a hidden gem.

I try not to go here but they have 3 things I like to get feom big y. But I find the prices to high unless u clip coupons. Which I do not. But place is clean and stocked. They also have self checkout

Clean and very well organized. Enough staff so you didn't feel like you had to search the store to get help.Prices are good, fresh items are very fresh and well stocked, as well as shelves in general.Check out quick and easy with plenty of registers open and operating.

What a great discovery! Best market I’ve been to in years! Visiting from florida and discovered this place. Far superior to the markets where I live. So many choices in all categories that I ended up buying far more than I planned and had a great time exploring new things. Thanks Big Y! Please move to South Florida…we need you.

It’s a small town grocery store not much to see or buy. I just ordered the shrimp and calamari dinner and they only put calamari and they have no lemon wedges or juice.

Small town market feel. (That's not a bad thing in my book]) Was visiting from out of state so I only stopped in a couple of times for the basics.Found the store clean and the cashier's who checked me out those days were kind, smiled and let you know that you were appreciated for shopping there and were kind. Appreciate the service you gave to me. Only 4 stars because the parking lot is busy and small. But the service is good. Stay safe y'all

I had a service clerk that was superb! He was very attentive and extremely helpful! He helped me find what I needed, bagged my groceries when I was done, and he even took it out to my car and put it in my car for me! His name was Joshua and he was hard of hearing. Made my visit enjoyable and made me want to shop here again.

Love this place. Their bakery department it's first quality. I will suggest to anyone to buy the tiramisu, so delicious!. Also the dessert with cream fillers are creamy and tasteful And not sugary.The place is nice and the cashier's are very nice. You should bring your own bags since Big Y is following the you bring your bag or we will charge you for bags.

They have a variety of items that I can't get locally. Such as oxtails, conch. They even have frog legs. The butchers were very helpful and friendly. Big Y also offers a wide selection of "to-go" foods such as soups, chicken wings, and fries in their deli area. Be aware of their hours they do close early on some days.

I used to think this store was ok. They did give out gift certificates during the pandemic to those in need which was a generous gesture/act. However I had a terrible experience with being discriminated upon at a second job interview here. I am glad now I was not hired in hindsight. I found the management hiring to be very closed minded and the opposite of progressive and family run with a friendly persona as they advertise. I was very disappointed in their attitude and they completely denied their discrimination when I later called and brought it up. I don’t shop here anymore and I’ve told my neighbor the story and I could tell he was appalled as well.

As another reviewer mentioned it does have that small town feel. Unfortunately, that means it's a small store. The natural food section consists of three small shelving units of organic junk food. That said, they do make a great fish'n'chips in store.

Produce section is scant in selection and quantity. The rest of the store is what one would expect from any supermarket. Good deli and butcher choices with a wide variety of prepared foods. Not my go-to place but balances off what I can't find elsewhere.

We called about a particular product to see if they carried it and the service department person knew they stocked the brand. Thenanother person In frozen foods checked stock. That's service! We went this past week, lots of friendly staff, and fresh baked goods, the deli is vast, also new sushi 🍣 bar.

Spent 30 dollars on steaks packaged on 12/28/2021 same day I bought them. Went to cook them on 12/30/2021, both packages were brown and rainbow colored. Yes I stored them in my fridge and my fridge temperature is 35 degrees. What is happening stores cutting cost for poorer meat? Or do they not care and chanfe dates on packafing.

Prices can be a bit high here, but the key is to look for sales. Sale items will often be priced the same as or even lower than competitors like Walmart.The interior of the store is a bit dated compared to Stop & Shop, but the produce section is quite good and offers a large selection of fruit and veggies.Staff is very friendly and the checkouts all have baggers, which is great.

I believe the cashier's name was Brandi and the bagger was Tyler. I must say it was so pleasant to go thru any grocery store line and have 2 very pleasant workers. There customer service was spot on!!! It's appreciated!!!!!

They HAVE BAGGERS. I am so sick of stores expecting you to check yourself out while they sit around and chat. This is all that happens at Market 32 and Stop and Shop. Big Y still understands they are there to help you, not to just take your money. Love it, and will keep coming back.
