Sadly, extremely underwhelming to say the very least. Frozen vegetables that lacked flavor and seasoning, steak tips that were chewy and hard to cut with a knife, and the lobster roll was mostly fillers like celery, lettuce, and mayo. I did enjoy the warm chips. Not my cup of tea.

Excellent beer selection with a good choice of craft beer. Food is pub fare with a twist. Had the Brazilian stew which was very good. Burger and lobster Mac and cheese also very good. It's a bit on the loud side but the bruins were playing so that contributed to the noise level. Very comfortable place for some pub and grub

We went here on a recommendation from a friend who kept telling us to try it. So we went on a Saturday for dinner, we were told by said friend to get there before 5pm or there will be a wait. We arrived a little before 5pm and were seated right away. Upon looking at the menu, I noticed there was no option for a side salad, only a small or large salad at a whopping $8 for a small and $12 for a large. I mentioned to the waitress that this wad our first visit there and was there a smaller salad other than the $8 small to have before our meal and she replied that yes there's a half size. So we said we would both have one with extra dressing on the side. We both ordered the steak tips as well. Salad was very disappointing for me. Steak tips were very good, could have been a little warmer. Mashed potatoes and vegetables were tasty but again could have been warmer. After we finished, the bill comes and we get charged $16 for 2 salads, and $2 for extra dressing, which we really didn't need because they give alot of dressing to begin with, which we obviously didn't know being our first time there (you think she would have mentioned that) I said to the waitress, I asked you if there was a small side salad we could get before the meal other than the $8 small, and you said there was a half size we could get (I assumed the half size would be $4). She just said, "Oh no, there not, and we charge for extra dressing and walked away. So we will not be rushing back here. There are 2 similar places to go to that are a bit cheaper and food is just as good.

Awesome food and service. Went with a huge party of 10+ people and they accommodated us quickly! The drinks were great, food was stellar. I shared two entrees and two appetizers with my party and still brought food home!The seafood sauté and lobster Mac and cheese are to die for.

Recommended by people in the area. This place had great food. The fisherman's platter was big enough to share between two people and the turkey sandwich had turkey sliced from a roasted turkey. Would highly recommend.

My family and I really enjoyed Novatos! The food was excellent and so was the service. Great variety of foods as well. My daughter works at Gillette Stadium and it was great to find this place after having many disappointing meals at Patriot Place. We were in a rush but will definitely be back.

I really liked this place. Really comfortable on the inside. It had the feel of a neighborhood place but with an upscale affordable menu. I had the veggie burger. If it just had some texture that would of raised it to 5 stars. Other than that it was extremely tasty. Definitely a home made veggie patty, I would for sure order again. The staff was very pleasant.I would for sure go back again!!!

We've overlooked the noise level because we've loved their Boubon Steak Tips for years, so tender you could almost cut them with a fork. This past Friday (mid Aug '23) we went to enjoy those tips about 5 PM. We sat in a booth. It was soooo noisy we couldn't talk to each other. Apparently, nobody else could either because everytable was yelling! They REALLY need to hang some drapes on the brick wall and the plain hard wall opposite it inorder to cut down on the noise in the dining room. For the first time, the tips were tough and grizzly. Very disappointed. At the price of eating out it will be a long time before we go back. AND they no longer carry Moscato wine - they used to have a nice one!

My husband Tom and I as well as my daughters love your restaurant. I am addicted to the bacon wrapped scallops. The waitstaff is fabulous! Always open to adapt to requests for special things off the menu.I’ve never had a bad meal. They are always even better than the descriptions on the menu.The new bartenders are wonderful as well.

Very creative menu. Large portions. We’ve come about 3 times in the last month and every one here is always nice and friendly- even when we being our messy kids. One time we had a dish that was cold, but other than that it has been consistently above expectations!

This was an awesome place. The food was amazing and our lovely server, Sonia, was wonderful.Made me a fresh cup of coffee. And, they have gluten free fabulous pizza along with a great menu with a variety of delicious fare.Get there early as it gets crowded both at the bar and dining area.

This place has by far the best Buffalo chicken sandwich’s I’ve ever had. I’ve had it several times and the chicken is well prepared and never has and of those chewy or hard pieces in the chicken like most places and other grilled chicken sandwich’s . I definitely recommend all there food but the Buffalo chicken sandwich hits the spot every time.

Went there for the first time last night. Food was great, Beer selection was good. There was a new bartender working and she was great. After we finished eating we were going to stay and have a couple more drinks, but we left. The problem we had was after 2 of the waitresses finished there shift about 9pm they sat at the bar. Not that the waitresses sitting at the bar was the problem. It was they were so loud and obnoxious no respect for the other patrons sitting at the bar. There ear piercing laughter and big mouths probably could have been heard on the other side of the restaurant. Will we go back maybe.

Was not expecting much from this very unassuming place in Norfolk. What was interesting was it was attached to a butcher shop. Service was prompt and we were meet with homemade potato chips. The Wesleyan salad was great and the dressing addictive if you like balsamic. Appetizer of Thai peanut tenders were also great. The steak tips were cooked to perfection, moist and flavorful. Good place.

As they say, timing is everything. We went for lunch today, Aug. 9 @ 12:30. After an 8 minute wait, we were greeted by the hostess/server. She said we could sit anywhere. After being deafened by extremely loud music, I asked if she could lower the volume. The volume was like a loud night club, not an upscale restaurant. Her reply was the bartender had control of it and we would have to speak to him. So, who is in charge of the front of the house? I told her the music was way too loud and we would go somewhere else. We had been looking forward to having lunch during our visit to this area. We won't recommend this place to our family and friends that live in this area.

Dinner reservation or arriving early / late is a must, or else it could be a long wait. Parking can also be problematic. But the drink menu is great (good craft selections). The food is always top notch. The southwest chicken egg rolls have a good crunch to them and are flavorful. The fish and chips, which are very flaky and rich in the mouth. Not heavy like fried fish tends to be. The smoke burger is very good, as are the tacos (we've had the fish tacos and the brisket tacos). Everything on the menu always looks good and we look forward to trying more of the menu.

Easy to look past this place and not expect much more than a bar with your typical fare, but it is much more than that. The food is above and beyond. The Unagi Salmon bowl might be one of the best dishes in New England. Friendly day bar server. Cozy inside with a solid tap selection. Only complaint if I had to come up with one is the parking lot. Do yourself a favor and stop here.
