Excellent spa treatment for my pooch today at PetSmart. Nice clean facility super sweet staff who took extra time and luv with my anxious pup. First time grooming with lots of questions which were answered thoroughly. Absolute transformation and a happy dog at pick up too! Highly recommended. Before and after pics❤️

My dog is hard to handle. Hyper and overly social. After finishing a groom with her loving groomer Maria, she got crazy in the store. The store manager, Nate, along with Maria took their time and patience outfitting my dog with a new harness and the right leash. I did not know I wasn't using the best available! My dog is under control. I am so grateful!

My friend and I both adopted pets from here recently, my friend got a ball python and I got a leopard gecko. The staff member who helped us went above and beyond but I didn’t catch her name. She usually works on weekends and she has beautiful heart earrings and hair. She doesn’t usually work with the reptiles but she helped us out a lot. She let us take a very detailed look at all the ball pythons so that my friend could get the perfect one. She took out all 4 for my friend to look at. Once my friend made her choice the employee helped us through the paperwork and walked us through the care guides. And she answered all of our questions even if it meant asking a few other co workers. This location takes very good care of their animals. They all looked happy and healthy and I would definitely come back here for my pets needs

Two excellent visits here. The Manager operates an immaculate, well-stocked store and the people in the grooming dept. are all friendly and upbeat. I asked them to do a favor for me and they were more than accommodating. It's been a long time since I've seen the caliber of service like they offer!

Only Petsmart I've ever been to and witnessed a customer being legit assaulted by a drunk grooming employee, not a good experience for me or that couple that was assaulted, I'd imagine.

The grooming salon in Newton Ma is really good. I get my dog Bella every around two months to her grooming with Jacky. She is the best Thank you Jacky because you are so nice with Bella and you do a great job. Thank you so much

Please bring back the kitties :c Besides the lack of feline companions, this store is great and the staff are always very helpful. Like above and beyond kind of help, far better than any other store I've been to. The store itself is kinda dingy and rundown, but hey it beats not having a pet store!

My second visit to "a" Pet Smart and my first to the Newton store. I will return!! My pup never stops moving lol and her groomer Stephanie was absolutely fabulous with her and gave the perfect cut! My fur baby is like a new dog but equally if not more important was the time and care & attention Stephanie gave. Thank you again.In store- was clean and well kept. I was able to fund all items I didn't need, ha isn't that the way. This location has worked out much better for me than the Cambridge store. Let me not slight them in this way though because the Cambridge Store Mgr followed up re an issue doing what he could to make it right and that's boss in my book!

The 4 stars is because I’ve been noticing the store never had what I need. This is not the stores fault as it’s a company issue.I use Worlds Best Cat Litter (Advanced Formula - No Mess) and the store use to have it. It was taken off shelf and now online sold online which is not convenient for me.The other issue is Cat Food. If you don’t pick up when they put on shelf, it’s gone. Specifically I’m speaking about Pro-Plan (Tuna - In Sauce). I keep having to purchase other kinds within the brand and it’s turning out to be a huge waste of money .Hopefully PetSmart will read this and start carrying the products I need in store as well as stocking up when a product is going to quick.PetSmart in Newton is honestly the best in appearance for a store. Everything is always organized and it’s easy to find exactly what you need. Everyone is extremely kind and all offer help if needed.

It’s a smaller Petsmart so there’s somewhat less of a selection with certain things and availability but usually it’s pretty good and the staff here are great

I regularly take my dog to get groomed here and it's nice. He doesn't seem to mind it and is in a happy mood when I pick him up. I will say that I don't love that they put the dogs in crates while waiting and after they're done. I was hoping for a place like Boston Paws where the pups are allowed to play while waiting for their turn to get groomed.

So friendly and helpful! I didn't get his name but the night manager (?) spent so much time helping me find something to help keep my cat from scratching an injured eye. Hard to find the store thanks to town rules but store itself was clean and safe. Pleasure to shop there!

PetSmart is always clean and the staff is very friendly. They always greet you when you walk in. Store lay out Is easy to navigate, especially with the dog on hand. I also like the parking lot having cover especially when it rains as it keeps me and dog dry.

Pretty helpful and friendly staff. Went to get a hamster but ended up with 2 guinea pigs based on their recommendation given the age of my kids. Helped me get all the supplies as well. Overall I think their recommendation was spot on. Would recommend this location.

This location is always in good condition. In my experience the employees have always been helpful, including a time when an item was mislabeled and there was a price discrepancy. The manager gave me the better deal. It seems like the cashier on weekends has been the same person for years now. There's all of the dog and cat stuff you expect as well as fish and small rodent and bird supplies. There is a covered parking lot.

Grooming was extremely rude about my parents dog. They proceeded to make comments about our dog as soon as we picked her up. They gave us dirty looks and we’re off putting. We’ve been going there for years but after the way they made us feel we will be going else where. the manager who spoke to me over the phone was very kind and agreed the way they behaved was unacceptable. Total lack of customer service and human decency.

Grooming salon is amazing! After a bad haircut, they were able to not only correct it, but give my dog one of the best haircuts she’s ever had. Jacqui was very sweet and made my dog feel at ease and comfortable!

I love pet smart the workers always greet me and are always there to help me find what I’m looking for the prices may be a bit expensive but for the most part I like coming here I’ve been coming here for quite a while now with my doggy and he loves it too he gets to see other dogs and there are amazing vets there aswell overall 5/5

I recently discovered this store because I was in the area. Had no idea this store existed. Really clean and staff really nice. I spoke with the manger, Kelly (male) who couldn't be more helful. Also, Emily was really helpful helping me pick out a cat climbing thing. I didn't realize they did pet adoptions with a shelter called second chance at this location. I went in the eve so traffic wasn't bad. I tend to be brand loyalty so you now have my business.
